But, Dr. Stoyka and her staff made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that at one point I started to doze off in the chair (...or was it the anesthesia kicking in? LOL!). Possibly the worst dentist I've ever had. Started good 3-4 years. Then staff turn over and doctor becoming money driven. Final straw couldn't get an appointment when I was having major pain turned out to be an infection that I treated with my own antibiotics. Made appointed schedule for two weeks, got call today said they wanted to refer me to a root canal specialist without even seeing me. My infection had nothing to do with root camel, go figure. The new receptionist doesn't have a clue and us never very helpful. Stay far away from. This place. read more

I had my first visit today to fix the porcelain on my front tooth. I have to say that the office is the cutest place EVER! Clean, comfortable and welcoming by all. On May 6, 2021 I had an appointment for a cleaning at D. Stoyka's office. At this time I was told I would need 2 crowns, left lower and left upper molers. I had no pain in either and didn't see anything wrong with either tooth. After the cleaning, I went home and felt a small chip in the lower moler which they had just suggested I crown. On May 20, 2021 I went back to prep for a temporary crown, was given 4 shots of Novocain, which was a little over-kill, I was "drilled" in the side of my tongue which gave me terrible pain and I had to call them to order an antibiotic. The pain lasted almost a full 2 weeks! The Dr. told me over the phone, without seeing my mouth, it was because I probably need a root canal and sent me to a Specialist who checked me and said No Root Canal Needed. On June 16, 2021 I went for the permanent crown and it was put on incorrectly. I called as soon as I returned to work and told them I needed to come back because I was in pain from the crown. The "assistants" all said the tooth looked "fine", I asked to have the Dr. look at it. She came to the room and said, "if my girls say it looks fine, I believe them."... I said, "Can you please look at it yourself?"...she did and then agreed with me that the crown was not put on correctly and had to pull it off. The entire crown was too big for my mouth and she said they would have to have a new one made. At this point she was complaining to me that she had an appointment she was going to be late for! Her assistants put my temporary crown back on and sent me home. Now they closed for vacation... I assumed I would get a phone call when the new crown was in. I never heard from anyone. I finally called them on July 29th and asked where my permanent crown was and they said they didn't owe me one because they already put it in! I reminded them that I had to come back and the Dr removed it to be re-made. Two more weeks later, mid-August, I finally got the new crown put in. This dentist stood in the exam room behind me, complaining (about me) that "I" didn't bite on the mold correctly and now I was going to make her late for her appointment and she didn't have time for this! She acted very unprofessional and inconsiderate! Her assistants all seem to be new with very little experience and talk to you like they've been doing this work for years...disagreeing with me about pain I am feeling in MY mouth! Telling me, "it's fine, it will go away when the tooth settles in". Worst dental experience ever!!! read more

Dr. Stoyka is a great dentist, I was in Bradington for work and I tripped and chipped my tooth. It was after hours and I contacted her office, and she replied to me within an hour and had me come in during nonbusiness hours to fix my tooth . I was there for a week so we had a bit of time to fix my tooth. Her work is amazing no one can tell that there's anything wrong with my teeth. She so good that I'm coming down in the next few months and have some cosmetic dentistry done on my teeth so I will have even a bigger smile than I already have. DO NOT GO HERE! My insurance company verified that this office accepted my insurance. Upon scheduling an appt for a cleaning, the office girl took all of my info incl Insurance info. I never received new patient email, but arrived for appt., anyway. I had to wait in my car for over 20 minutes. Finally, I was escorted into the office and led into the back by the "hygienist". She didn't listen to anything I told her concerning my previous dental history which had been exemplary, but was given a crazy lecture about dental history which didn't make any sense. To cut a long story short, whoever made the appointment, had none of my info incl phone #, email address, my address and insurance info. Chaos. They told me they didn't take my insurance, didn't believe me and wouldn't make the call to verify the info. It got pretty nasty, hostile and rude for no reason and as I was leaving, the hygienist deliberately hit my elbow with the metal door. Yes. She had a wicked look on her face. If you agree with her, all is well... classic narcissist. I was happy at first as I feel she is conservative and have been through a lot dentally. I was doing Invisalign with an oththodondist in town and ended up doing crowns on my four front teeth. In hindsight, I wish I wouldn't have done it because they are short and fat. That was my fault and a bad choice. My problem was, my front teeth kept falling out to the point when I was traveling, I was taking fixodent with me on trips. The last time is had them glued back in, she tried to blame the Invisalign, which was absolutely not the problem . The problem was with her and her assistants. Crowns are not supposed to randomly fall out. When I went to make an appt for a check up, the office told me I owed $102 dollars for the exam and gluing the crowns back in. I said I will not ever pay that as no one should ever have crowns falling out. She is the nicest person until you buck her system, then she becomes an evil witch. Classic narcissist personality. So, on to find a new dentist that listens and accepts mistakes of her hygentists. I was fine with all, even though my teeth were ugly, but I was absolutely not going to pay for their mistakes and then she had the audacity to blame my ortho dr, dr. Jeffrey Thompson. Take blame where blame is due. I would have continued with her if it were not for the attitude, which, I think, is typical. read more

While I was sitting in Dr. Stoyka's waiting room I heard a boy screaming in one of the treatment rooms. The boy's mom asked the dentist to stop. She did and she also yelled at them to leave. The boy came into the waiting room crying and holding a bloody gauze pad to his mouth. The mother asked the receptionist for the name of a dentist she could take her son to in order to finish the work Dr. Stoyka had begun. The receptionist ignored the mom who left the office angry with her son still bleeding. She also did some work on me that continues to create problems for me after many years. Dr Stoyka has been there with me for the long haul. I really do like her and she reached out to me to tell her what I thought of her dental services. Dr Stoyka has been so helpful in restoring my teeth at such a low price, and I am going to keep her as my only dentist I would choose for any teeth issues, she does come with my high recommendations and I would refer her to anyone. read more

I agree with all the negative reviews ,she is possible the worst dentist and business person I have ever dealt with. She took two tries to get the correct crowns replaced. She promised not to take two weeks on the second set, but did any way. I asked her to prepare a plan with my new insurance to do the dental work I needed and email it to me. She agreed and her office manager was to do that. We set a tentative appointment based on her getting me that information as I wanted to budget for it. I canceled first appointment and asked for the plan to be emailed and rescheduled the appointment. The plan was never emailed and I got a call and a bill for a missed appointment. I think it was the dentist not the office manager that actually called about the missed appointment. I asked about the treatment plan that I had never received. She claimed it had been mailed, I checked it never was. Then she claimed I owed her for 2 hours and she would turn me over to collections. I still needed dental work so was confused why we went from working out a misunderstanding to screaming that she would send me to collections. I believe she is bipolar or the worst customer service person I have met. I went home and looked at the bill and decided I would pay for an hours fee as disclosed on her website and was preparing to send a check ,when I received a collection notice. I can not believe she is in business and mouth where she did the work feels sensitive at the gum. This is one Dental Practice to avoid. I am writing this review because I see that this dentist is on the 'approved' list for my new dental insurance. I had the misfortune of seeing this money hungry incompetent dentist over 6 years ago and at the time I filed a complaint with the state licensing agency for dentists in Florida, filed a complaint with the BBB (she has an "F" rating with them) and also notified my dental insurance at the time that she should be taken off the list of approved dentists. This woman tried to charge me over $6000 for what she claimed was a botched crown done by another dentist. This problem tooth was saved by a different dentist for $100. She also uses temps to do some of her intake work like x-rays. I had a temp try and do x-rays on me multiple times because the idiot could not figure out how to use the machine. How many doses of radiation did I get because nobody bothered to show the temp how to use the machine properly? I don't understand how this dentist still has a license to practice. She is condescending and rude to patients and her front office staff isn't shy about calling people out about bills in front of a waiting room of other clients. Right there that should be a warning to anyone-- any dentist with a large front office staff is probably submitting a lot of half baked claims to insurance companies and suggesting unnecessary treatments to pay for all that overhead. I had a crown redone at Dr Stouka's office, as I was referred there by my health insurance co. & she claimed the tooth was full of cavities. Funny, I had had no discomfort before she messed with it. I had a horrible time at the hands of one of her techs, 2 hours of torture, & have not been able to bite down on that side of my mouth since Stoyka finished the crown. My new dentist tried to shorten the crown, to re-leave my discomfort, but now I don't have to worry about it any more. The crown just fell out as I was using my water-pic this evening. Very rude management! I went to see Dr Stoyka for the first time. Although she was very nice, their computer system was down and she told me my treatment plan would be mailed to me. Three months later no word, so I called and got nowhere called again. Weeks later I explain what I was waiting for on an answering machine call back the next day. They still had not done my treatnent plan. I had to listen to the office manager. ANNA ramble on about how she's doing her job when I told her I didn't care, she literally hung up on me! I called back and asked to speak to the doctor, 3 business days later , no phone call back . I called back still no treatment plan, I talked to the office manager Anna again who said Dr Stoyka was going to talk to me about it but she would go ahead and do it even though it wasn't ready yet . I told told her that she had hung up on me and she then she tried to justify it with more rambling about how professional she was lol ! I will not return to this dentist!
