The cheese selection is very good as well. The buttery brie in the display case is just melting away by the minute. The staff were also super nice and were accommodating enough to make me a ice-cream coffee (I got a half cup of the flat white and then got a scoop of the local vanilla ice-cream added - delicious!). Also this place was the only shop serving food that was open on the High Street on a Friday evening after 5pm (they close at 5:30). Would recommend.

Though I have to admit at times it can be a tinsy bit pricey for those on the budget.... but its so cute and has so many imports you can't find in St. Andrews that the premium is worth it. They have my favourite type of Amaretti cookies which I was super excited about! But I have to say I couldn't afford their Truffle oil (go to Morrisons, they have it too... and cheap but probably not the same quality as the Little Italian Shop). When my parents where visiting we came here and got some cheese and pasta and pesto sauce (and wine of course) and made a meal from this place. And (don't hate me for mentioning it again) but the shop is just so cute that I can't help but love it! Sometimes I get a little worried though when I walk by and I don't see anyone inside.... I don't want this place to close because of the recession!

The panini was so flavorful, with plentiful filling, and served hot and toasted. I'm so glad I chose it! The side salad was a nice optional addition, and I'm glad I made that choice. It was quite a filling meal and with my soda cost less than 8£. Another good decision was to get a slice of the White Chocolate Coconut Cake with a pot of tea. The cake was moist and fresh with a beautiful white hi plate icing with coconut on top. It was all so delicious! The deli also has coffee and lots more on the menu. As well they gave a small selection of gourmet deli items, fresh free-range eggs, cheeses, and lovely looking produce. Well worth a visit!

Really good find here…read more Although on both visits it does get busy, so noise can bouce around and it's fairly popu;ar with parents and kids. Other than that, food seems to be good. But they are just far too aldente with the french beans on visit one. After saying twice that the needed to be cooked more (served rock hard to us) we used the microwave to blast them. They did however take the beans off the bill and apoligised. Lovely wee gift shop full of delightful and dainty gifts. The deli is just as good and stocks the beer from the microbrewery much to the hubbies delight.

The brownie is decadent, rich and with the right amount of crunch & gooey ratio. Scotch egg was yum, sausage roll got the thumbs up. Much cheese was bought and consumed. They have my fave (Comte) which was a super added bonus. Great place to stop for a bite and a wander around. Try not to miss the Brewery tours like we did... (gives us a reason to go back!). Don't be afraid to ask for tasters of the beers, grab a pint and sit on a comfy couch to enjoy it! If only I had a car... I'd totally be back.. but I'm sure I'll find a way to return.. somehow!

**WARNING** This is a lengthy review and you WILL be hungry after reading!…read more Just outside Perth and a short detour from the A9 lies Tibbermore (I know, cute right!), a typical 'blink and you'll miss it' kinda place, but really, just don't blink cos this place is awesome! It really does have it all - fresh fruit and vegetables all leafy and colourful, a gin lovers corner, wonderful cheese and meats deli, health foods section including a variety a GF flours, breads and oatcakes (try their own oatcakes, completely different from the brand that sounds like Talkers but sooo much tastier!), tray upon tray of freshly laid eggs...I could go on but you get the idea! And that's just the food section! They also have a glorious gift section where I could've easily spent a small fortune. Everything from kitchen gadgets to picnic baskets, kiddie gifts to Emma Bridgewater pottery and everything in between. I spotted a few local producers too which I loved as I always like to see locals businesses supporting each other. Then there's the café/restaurant which has a few outdoor tables but plenty inside if they're taken; the day I visited it was glorious but somehow we got lucky and got a table outside (my shoulders can prove that #scottishtan!...). The menu has lots of tasty options incorporating as much of their own produce as possible - I opted for the Homemade Chicken Liver pate while my parents both had the Smoked Ayrshire Ham & Gloagburn Curried Banana Chutney sandwich (Dad went hunting for the ham to buy later he was that impressed!). Once decided, we had to go inside and order at the counter; I'm not sure if this was due to us sitting outside or standard practise as when we asked for a second round of coffees (and some more oatcakes for me as I'd ran out!), a waitress came over with one of those electronic hand-held thingys to take that order so I wondered why she couldn't have done that initially, anyway, not really a star-affecting issue. Pricewise, we were just shy of £10/head for a sandwich and coffee (exc our 2nd coffee round), a tad steep but it's all fresh and local produce so I don't mind paying that when you know you're getting good quality (and it really was!). Given it's out-the-way location it's a busy wee place but worth the trip as you could easily spend a couple of hours here eating and browsing. There's plenty parking available and even a small play area for kids. Farm Shops like this don't come around too often, which is a shame as they really are wee gems of places!

On entering l was greeted by one if the owners who said "hello and how are you today " and that alone is something rare these days, never met such polite staff and helpful in every way. The first thing l noticed when l walked in was how well stocked the shop was, everything was in its place, on the shelves where stocked with locally sourced in Edinburgh or Scotland, from biscuits to locally made jam. There where in house made pizza slices to go as well as coleslaw, and cheesecake. The Mouse hole deli stock a variety of scottish cheeses with a selection of cold cut meats, with the usual deli items such as the salads, fresh eggs available and an assortment of baked breads. The prices here are pretty good considering you are supporting locally sourced goods that are made nearby. I do see myself coming back? Most definitely. Service 5* Atmosphere 5* Value 5*

Fantastic food, excellent service…read more Don't miss this hidden treasure. Their selection of cheeses is mouth-watering, and the owner will make you any sandwich you want without comment. One wall is completely taken up with shelves of sauces, treats, and other little prepared nibbles to take away. Very affordable and not far from the water. Owner was quite friendly and welcoming - I wish I lived in this neighborhood so I could be a regular!

The staff are really friendly but unfortunately as Pieri's is quite expensive I don't get to pop in as often as I'd like. My budget can usually only stretch to Billy Bear Ham from Asda but next time I am feeling flush I shall certainly be treating myself to some fancy smancy ham from the lovely people at Pieri's!

I have also had the most amazing beef panini a couple of times from here too. The prices are excellent for the quality of ingredients. The food is made up fresh just before lunch, try it!!
