She is a very sweet dog but I just couldn't keep up with all of her hair. I was apprehensive but took her, yesterday with instructions not to mess up her double coat. . . it keeps her warm and cool, as most Pyr owners know. When I picked her up, she was happy and pyrfect. His last grooming experience about 4 months ago by someone else resulting in him coming home still damp, like he hadn't been brushed, his paws not trimmed and his nails jagged with one of his dew claws split and bleeding. I hesitate to take Liam to places where he will be around other dogs because we are still working on his reactivity to other dogs. I decided I would try mobile grooming although it was pricier than I would like. I reviewed multiple mobile groomers and Luxe Hounds price point aligns with others and they had great reviews so I made my choice. My appointment was scheduled for around 12pm. I received a text letting me know they would be late because of an older dog taking more time than expected and offered to reschedule if needed. I opted to keep the same day since I was available all day. I received an update that they were able to make it to me by 1pm. I appreciated the communication and updates. Liam came back to me looking and feeling amazing! His paws and nails look so clean and neat. He was fully dry and I can tell he was brushed out well and blown out because I was rubbing and petting him for the rest of the day and there was ZERO shedding. Overall it was worth every penny! He is exhausted when he gets home from running around all day....its perfect because Goldendoodles have SO much energy. Niko absolutely loves every resort attendant and they without a doubt love him! His favorite is Brianna...she gives him so much love and attention, Its great! I've recommended this place to others in my neighborhood and now Niko has all neighborhood friends with him too.
