They said the 14 year old had to buy a package for kids which was $30 for 10 visits (no smaller packages just to try it out). When deciding on it when she was already with me in her workout clothes, we told the worker that she was going to sometimes come with her friend's family, so we would get it. Nothing was said about any rules against this. A month after that, I decided to cancel my membership because of several reasons (class times not convenient for a teacher. Rigid rules about teen memberships, etc). When I canceled, they called to tell me Tessa's membership would also be canceled since she has to come with me. I told them my understanding was that she just had to be with an adult. They would not budge and told me absolutely no refunds for any reason. This is very poor business. Also, their policies are so rigid...a 14-15 year old must work out with a parent. I don't know many teens that want to be glued to their parent's side when working out. Other gyms have much more flexibility. Other businesses would be more flexible with miscommunications. I'm glad we are ending our membership there.

My how Fitness Pointe has fallen in a few short years is a tragedy. The staff that once went out…read moreof their way to smile and welcome you by eagerly offering assistance are today far too busy sitting on their asses texting on their cell phones. They used to take your blood pressure by just noticing you sitting in a chair. Today, they're too lazy to get up off their asses! Don't blame Covid, that's any easy excuse and a cop out. No mouthwash in the locker room any longer! We didn't forget! Fitness Pointe did! Poor leadership that would rather blame someone for complaining about a problem person, in hopes one of them would cancel their membership so Mr Coward manager didn't have to take a stand. Missing leadership! Arrogant! Excellent at being pompous and arrogant! Then there's the therapy pool piranha and the school of disgruntled, mean followers that believe this is their own personal warm water swamp. The pool piranha feverishly splashes about from side to side hogging up three lanes is a message to everyone...I OWN THIS POOL! I COME FIRST! You must kiss the ass of the selfish pool piranha and follow it around, back and forth like a good little obedient fan. No respect for others! You can't enjoy the therapy pool alone because the pool piranha lacks attention and needs your constant validation. Then there's the employee with the strawberry blonde brush haircut that hates everyone including itself. Mean, belligerent and can easily grimace, flip you the finger or tell you to SHUT UP! Excuse me....Is one of it's tired, dated lines. When management lacks the balls to use their authority properly, you end up with sacred cow staff members, laziness and a few angered members calling the shots over the majority. Fitness Pointe isn't the best place to work out or enjoy your leisure. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! Not worth the aggravation!

First, The trainers there couldn't care less about your progress or form; they're too busy glued to their phones in the corner. Not only do they fail to provide any meaningful encouragement, but they also spend their time gossiping about clients and each other, creating a toxic environment. Secondly, If you have any issues with the trainer and decided to take it to the manager, the manager doesnt do their proper job in rectifying the situation, there's a lack of communication amongst everyone. Nobody know's nothing. Thirdly, when you try to cancel your memebership, the manager or region manager "Jennifer Crunk" try to do a "Corporation tactic" to intimidate you. For instance, I wanted to get out on contract because I wasn't satisfied with their services. Jennifer Crunk states that shes going to turn my bill over to the "credit card bureau" to hurt my credit and then insist that I "atleast" pay half my bill to get out my contract. Dont fall of this "Corporation tactic" if you want to get out of your contract. Email them stated you want to get out your contract and dispute any charge through your bank afterward. Simple. If you looking for a great gym, motivating employee and people who ACTUALLY want to help you in your fitness journey, and not be so money hungry. Try F45 Training or Crossfit, somthing more organic.

"Trust the process." This phrase has had a significant influence on my experience in body…read morecontouring, which focuses on fat reduction and muscle development. Like many others, I have faced my share of challenges throughout this process. Achieving any goal demands dedication, hard work, and daily sacrifices. For me, it begins with rising early to walk for an hour and a half before heading to work, followed by training sessions with Bob at Heavy Metal Fitness twice a week, and additional home workouts for four more days each week. Although sticking to this routine has been challenging at times due to work and personal obligations, I have consistently observed a reduction in body fat and an increase in muscle. Alongside my training with Bob, I diligently track my macros every day under his guidance. It's worth noting that I eat more frequently throughout the day; I simply pay attention to what I consume. In the past five months, I have successfully shed more than 35 pounds and decreased my body fat by 4.5%. I can now see my obliques and abdominal muscles. Initially, I wore a size 36 in men's jeans, but I now fit into a size 32. I cannot remember the last time I wore size 32 men's jeans or have ever seen my abs. Every week, Bob monitors my progress, and recently, during a training session with him, he requested that I lift a 40lb dumbbell. Not knowing the workout, I was about to begin, he remarked, "The weight you are holding represents what you have shed over the past five months." While I take pride in this achievement, I have not yet reached my ultimate goal; however, I am confident with the training with Bob, following my macro plan and walking that I will attain it in due time. While the above mentioned is fine, the health benefits have been great. During a recent check-up with my primary care physician, my blood pressure and other test results were significantly better than what is typical for my age group. Although I am happy with my progress, the health advantages have been even better. In a recent appointment with my primary care doctor, my blood pressure and other results were considerably better than compared to what is normal for my age group. Friends and colleagues have noticed my physique and have asked me what am I doing. I always respond with the same message: "I am not special and or having amazing genetics; if you invest the time and effort, you can achieve the results you desire." I am eager to keep "trusting the process" with Bob. As a quick note, I almost never write reviews for products or services, but I felt compelled to share my experience, as I am sure many others have faced their own challenges. While I acknowledge that others may have had more favorable results, I am genuinely satisfied with my own outcomes. Thanks Bob.

I saw better results with this type of training. Incorporating weight training has really helped me become stronger. The trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. They are always concerned with proper form and technique, not how many reps or how heavy you are lifting. But if they know you can challenge yourself more, they will not be too shy to tell you. All the other members are very friendly and I have formed great friendships here. I have done several challenges, from Lean Jeans, 15 in 6 and 21 day detox, all with lots of success. I joined after my 3rd child was born and I struggled to lose body fat. I got done to my ideal weight and got pregnant with my 4th and last child. I am currently trying to shed that baby weight and learn how to make better eating choices and habits. My first 15 in 6, my youngest was only 6 months old and I lost 30 pounds in 2 rounds just in time for my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, life happens and I put that weight back on. I recently concluded a 15 in 6 challenge and was able to lose 16 pounds. I plan on continuing the diet on my own and will continue to attend classes 5 days a week. I have done strength class for over 2 years now and I am addicted. New personal records this year under the personal guidance of Dr. Ryan Gawron. He continues to challenge me beyond my comfort zone and he has shown me that I can do more at 42. Age is nothing but a number in his eyes. I highly recommend this gym. I have had plenty of other memberships. This is the one gym that I am excited to go to everyday. Take a chance on yourself, you will not be disappointed!
