Service: 4.8/5 Drinks: 3.8/5…read morePrice: $20-$30 Sooo my friend got the date/location wrong + we ended up coming here for trivia. Best bartender service everrr. I think it's because the comedy crowd was settled + trivia only had 3 teams (including us), so he was straight chillin. They ran out of the canned mocktails, so he handmade our drinks, gave us napkins unprompted + offer to breakdown our pizza box after we finished (bought from across the street). Got the Virgin Sunrise, which was mostly oj with a little fizz + a splash of grenadine. Trivia was the classic NYC Trivia League format with a mix of easy + hard questions for your occasional trivia player. Maybe I'll return for a comedy show?

My wife and I attended Eastville Comedy Club last night, and the experience was mixed…read more First, I want to say the service was good. We were greeted by the bartender when we came in, and he took our drink orders right away. My wife really enjoyed her drink and said it was amazing. I also thought my drink tasted good, but it was very weak and mostly tasted like ginger beer/soda. Still, the flavor was good, and the service itself was friendly. The comedy experience, however, left me feeling uncomfortable. When we walked in, one comedian was already on stage, and the timing felt awkward. It seemed like he may have been in the middle of a joke involving melanated people, because when we entered he reacted by saying something like "perfect timing" or "horrible timing," and the crowd laughed. In the moment, I didn't fully process it, but afterward it made me wonder if we had walked in during a joke where people like us were the target. We were seated in the front row, right in the middle, but during the following performances I felt strangely ignored by some of the comedians. I noticed very little eye contact with me, even though they appeared to engage with other people in the room. I understand that comedians may not make eye contact with every person, and I'm not saying I know anyone's intentions, but as one of the only melanated couples in the audience, the overall feeling was uncomfortable and somewhat alienating. One performer also wore lightning-bolt-shaped earrings, which stood out to me because that type of imagery can resemble symbols associated with hate groups or extremist history. I don't know if that was intentional or just a fashion choice, but given the rest of how I was already feeling, it added to the discomfort. We ended up leaving early after a few comedians because the seats were uncomfortable and the overall vibe just didn't feel welcoming to us. I wanted to enjoy the show, and there were moments where I laughed, but I couldn't shake the feeling that we were not really being included in the room. Overall, the staff/service and drinks were good, but the comedy experience itself left us feeling uncomfortable enough that we decided not to stay for the full show.

One of the best comedy clubs around in terms of price, size & chill levels…read more Always great lineup of diverse comedians usually in a showcase setting - meaning multiple comedians, each doing @ 12 minutes, one after the other for about an hour and a half. The showroom is in the back and is small & dark which is perfect for a comedy club. There's also a small sitting / waiting area up front that's very cozy & welcoming with additional seating out front for nicer weather / smoking I presume. No bad sight or sound anywhere in this main showroom so that's a plus. Seats about 30 to 40 if I had to guess. It's also run by Comedians so it's pretty much the best vibes you can get for a comedy club. Highly recommended for a fun night out!

A group of friends and I were visiting our friend in Brooklyn and decided to check out a comedy…read moreclub during one of our nights. We picked Bushwick Comedy Club because it was near our dinner choice, was a great price, and had no drink minimum (we also learned later that it's BYOB, which is cool). I've never been to a comedy club, let alone a smaller, more intimate club like this one. So, I was a little nervous! I didn't know if I could fake a laugh if none of the comedians forced a genuine one, but luckily that wasn't an issue. The lineup of comedians here were great! It was so fun to see everyone's different styles, yet they were all so funny. One comedian in particular had me and my friends crying with laughter. Plus, the guy who runs the comedy club is funny and very friendly and hospitable. Bushwick is lucky to have such a cool spot in its neighborhood. Check it out if you're in the area!
