“They had it at the shop, but I also got a wonderful recommendation from Michele to also try a Black and Blue Cohosh tincture.”

Like most co-ops, this place is heaven on earth to me. I am gluten free and vegetarian and…read moresometimes just don't feel like finding a restaurant and waiting for takeout, so I decided to just go here and see what they had at the hot bar. They had several kinds of indian food, a lush salad bar, and TONS of fresh-made deli items. I was tempted by a grilled salmon salad, gluten free mac and cheese, and the gluten free carrot cake. Ended up getting a vegan tofu burrito bowl and it was so good! I couldn't help but browse the snacks. They had every brand I love here, with flavors I had never even heard of. Ended up somehow resisting the desserts and huge fridge dedicated to olives and pickled goods and just got out with a few kinds of vegan jerky (which is hard to find for me). Again, heaven. I will have to come back on a cheat day when I am ready to sample all the gluten free dessert.

Went to the hot bar for a lighter dinner bowl to share. A large "Buddha bowl" type meal with rice,…read moreeggplant dish over it, some roasted veggies, Beechers mac & cheese, & a separate 12 oz bowl of soup cost just around $31. Seemed a bit spendy. The food, of course, is high quality so it was worth it. People here are always super friendly and walking around is fun. We don't live here so don't do our regular shopping here. The inside (and out) is well kept and welcoming. I love seeing what the soap sample of the week is.

More people need to eat at Bry's Filipino Cuisine! This place was unexpected, but I'm so glad we…read morecame here for some authentic Filipino food, which does not exist where I live (Bellevue). So you can imagine how excited I was to find Bry's Filipino Cuisine while we were in Bellingham. It wasn't on our radar, but we looked at a map of where we were staying and not far from our hotel was a place called Bry's Filipino Cuisine just down a few blocks. We called over there, asking if they were dog-friendly and fortunately, they are. They offer outdoor seating right outside the entrance, which worked out perfectly. We visited for lunch and left with leftovers. The portions are huge and it's affordable! I can't remember the last time I had a meal in Bellevue with huge portions from a small business for $20. My partner and I both ordered the combination, which came with a little bit of everything for only $20. There was pork adobo, coconut chicken, grilled pork, lumpia, brussels sprouts, pancit and a large helping of white rice. I even asked the owner if he had bicol express, which he gave me a side of as part of the combo plate! After some chatting, it turns out the owner is from the Bicol region, which is where my mom's side of the family is from. Love it! It's been a long time since I've had some authentic Filipino food - and this hit the spot! The food was incredible, the owner was super friendly and the space outside allowed for our dog to join us. They even have a full bar where they serve cocktails with ube and pandan for a Filipino twist! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Bellingham.

Wow, this place is great! Like many others I got the combo meal cause I couldn't decide which to…read moreget and it was perfect. My favorite was the pork adobo with a coconut chicken. The second I normally don't like dark meat nor like Smoky stuff so the coconut chicken kind of put me off, but when I tried it, it was a perfect balance. All the food is perfectly seasoned, too. I normally add hot sauce to my food to give it a bit more flavor, but that wasn't needed here. The one thing to keep in mind is that their online menu isn't as updated as their actual menu. For example, the combo meal wasn't listed online, but they had it on the menu in the restaurant so if you want the full selection, you gotta be in person instead of using their online menu.
