I visited this dispensary with a buddy and decided to check it out. Very neat, clean, presentable, and well-organized. They don't take debit or credit cards but they do have an ATM for cash. They have the best marijuana, dabs, joints, edibles, and bongs in the whole town! I got a really cool buzz out in my car listening to some Foster the People. I was stoned as hell. Ok, I'm full of shit. I don't smoke weed and was literally just with my buddy. But I will say this: great customer service and very knowledgeable budtenders. I've been a loyal this this business from day one when they opened up! but the Hawthorne location Has a very VERY MEAN little Asian girl Named "DESTINY" she acts of she runs the place and is manager. She's very rude to customers and her coworkers. I have personally have been attack about this person ! She must have a a lot of anger because she REPORTED MY SERVICE DOG. So now am no longer aloud to bring in my SERVICE ANIMAL. I've personally heard her talking about other coworkers just to start drama. im sad to say i will no longer be attending this shop because of this individual, im not the only customer that has had an issues with her. This is the best price dispensary in salem that I can find. Nice staff, they do the candy jar method and weigh out your purchase and don't spill much. Price per THC% is best I've found by far. The bargain weed is 'hippy trimmed' which is how it should be done anyway, what's up with trimming the buds to the point they don't even resemble plants in any way? I want that trim, thank you. The left turn into the parking lot is always a challenge and makes you happy you have a small car or rode your bicycle. I have been to quite a few dispensaries here in town. It seems like you can't swing a dead cat without hitting another one. And with all those dispensaries available to the consumer, as I've mentioned before, you'd think they'd give a crap about their customers. At least greet them with a "Hi how are you?" or "welcome!" I've been disappointed in a great many of them for various reasons. Perhaps I am a bit picky, but why shouldn't I be? With so many to choose from why shouldn't you go look for the one that treats you the best? Livewell has a new Dispensary on Broadway where Joe's Safe and Key used to be. I walked in there and was immediately struck by its look, its cleanliness, its vast inventory and best of all, people that treated you like you were important and that they give a shit about the customer! Mind blowing, right?. Three employees, all with smiles, all with concern for my well-being, and a desire to make me happy. I know you've heard crap like that before, but as Salem becomes more and more used to cannabis dispensaries I think people inside them are becoming quite complacent. They feel they have no competition, they feel if you don't buy from them someone else will, and they seem to feel like customers are a giant pain in the ass. I highly recommend you visit the Livewell on Broadway. Don't reward depressing employees and those who are too busy to even raise their head to acknowledge your presence. I just went in and asked if any of the joints had weed that was harvested in the last 3 or 4 months. The male employee wearing a pink shirt first tried to say that he would have to go through "mounds of paperwork" to find that out, which is 100% a lie, as anyone who has worked in a dispensary for a day knows that it's listed right on the label of every single joint. Then he went to the joint area after I told him that, and I mentioned that I was sorry and know it was a pain, and this dude has the gall to say to my face "yeah, I'm not going to do that." So my friends and I went down the street to OG collective where they were happy to help me and we spent $80. My friends I was with were regulars at Livewell and will no longer go there after their employee straight up refuses to do his job and not only that but extremely rudely. read more

I was surprised to not find this place on yelp and it should be so I added it. I went in just to check the place out and see what they had to offer. I can say they have incredible prices, they even do a special for certain flowers only $5/g. I stayed away from weed for over 10 years due to jobs but recently started exploring for medial reasons. I only have a little knowledge of edibles and the vaping scene but they have a decent assortment of products, I want to say a 100mg CBD candy bar was $22 with 10 servings, honey sticks are $3 each which my mother uses for her arthritis and seems to be a good price. The budtender told me I can get a vape kit for around $40 out the door, the prices range of course, different size cartridges, brands etc. I went in just to look around and ask a lot of questions to learn more, the budtender did not push me at all to buy which I liked. If you go to their website they actually list a lot of prices on their products and it says they offer a discount for veterans and seniors which is nice. Worth checking out for everyone, from what I seen some places are more expensive. read more
