Best interactive gaming experience out there! I hate paintball and laser tag is pretty much obsolete.

We were getting zero response from anyone we tried to get a hold of down there and started to worry our plan wasn't going to happen. We knew we needed a professional. We found Amy online and had an initial phone call consult and that was pretty much all we needed. When we first met Amy, I knew she was the one to get it done. She's straight forward, very direct(which I love), extremely responsive(trust me, my then fiance hit her up constantly and she was ALWAYS so responsive and patient), she is extremely professional, and she just gets SHT DONE! Every step of the way, she was there for us. She kept us calm, minimized our stress levels and gave us the confidence that our day was going to be a success. She made several trips down to Mexico to deal with the different vendors and always gave much needed guidance and advice. Come to our wedding day, all of her and my wife's work came to fruition. The day was absolutely PERFECT. Everything flowed as planned and Amy was just as good as it gets. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. She's the consummate pro. THANK YOU for making this day the most memorable day of our lives!!

I attended a wedding here as a guest in March…read more The sunny Spring weather plus the unobstructed view of La Jolla Cove was the PERFECT backdrop for such a beautiful wedding! The wedding and reception ran timely and smoothly. The buffet dinner offered a variety of options and everything was tasty! There were plenty of seats and tables to ensure every guest had a place to hang out before and after the formal dinner. Heat lamps and tabletop fire pits were set up throughout the venue in the evening. What I did notice was how great and attentive the staff were in every aspect - at the bar, passing hors d'oeuvres, buffet dinner, photobooth. I really appreciated a female staff member notice who wasn't drinking alcohol and provided apple cider so they can participate in toasts! A staff member was also stationed by the main entrance which I'd assume is to prevent party crashers and ensure guests aren't walking out with alcohol (they thought my water was alcohol). The only downside of this gorgeous venue is the parking situation. We parked in a paid parking garage at the Morgan Stanley building for $25. It is a 0.2 mile walk to the venue.

There were also some tray-passed appetizers as well. The food was pretty good, but the fruit tray ran out too quickly. Overall, seems like a great venue for a wedding! I've also been here when they held a salsa dancing night here as well!

But this review is for the pre-contract customer service, which is far and away the best we got from any other caterer I contacted! Samantha Reilly responded to our online request almost immediately, quickly came up with an amazing proposal, and endured several rounds of emails and phone calls as we looked for every little way to bring down the total costs. She was completely understanding of our budget concerns, didn't shame us at all for exploring even the craziest options (like providing our own ice, disposable dishes, and rental equipment!!); every time I called her, she remembered exactly who I was and always followed up quickly. I should also say that although costs were the reason we had to go with another company, Carriage Trade offers completely reasonable prices for their services. The only way the other company was able to lowball them was because they're an industrial-sized place that owns their own rental equipment (a big deal at our reception venue, which doesn't even provide tables and chairs!) If only I had another thousand dollars at my disposal, I would have readily opted for the personalized service of a smaller company like Carriage Trade. In short: call them up, ask for Samantha, and see what they can do for you!
