My experience was Zarah and Olive&Sage was beyond exceptional when creating an event for my elopement. She was so creative when putting a vision together for you with a dreamy mood board. Then her recommendations were just more than I could imagine myself. She made immediate accommodations for my family so it would be comfortable to sit. And worked with a florist to make a flower lei for my dog. Then, made sure the timeline was perfect so the vision was complete. The evening of the event was cloudy and super cold, but the beauty of it all helped us forget it. Everything from the details of the menu, flowers, food setup, beautiful desserts, blankets, to take away boxes...I couldn't have pictured anything better. She was super honest about pricing and wanted to be very accommodating about budget. Working with her was worth every dollar and I won't hesitate to reach out to her again for future events. You seriously won't be disappointed, it was truly a DREAM (and delicious)!! read more

Booked a surprise picnic in La Jolla with an ocean view! The set up was far more than we expected and my friends enjoyed it so much. The experience was amazing, fun and an everlasting memory. The charcuterie board provided from Grazing Box SD was phenomenal, one of us was a vegetarian so they had a board of just fruits and cheese, the other board had meat, very thoughtful. They provide board games, dinner wear and a music speaker. There was multiple themes/ layouts to choose from as well, I think we chose the boho! 10/10 would recommend. There was a lot of other picnic type events around us but I felt ours stood out as the quality and thought was put into every detail. Even many people asked for the name of the company, I suggested they make a QR code for people to just scan so they don't have to bother the guests. read more

If you ever visit San Diego, booking a picnic with Olive & Sage Events is a must! This experience is truly like no other and I cannot thank Zarah enough for making my partner and I'd anniversary picnic so special. Here's a few highlights: * Decorations - Zarah has immaculate taste in decor and it was so hard for me to choose one theme for the picnic! Luckily, everything was organized so well in IG, and that made it way easier to envision what we wanted. Her picnic setup makes for a great photo op! * Entertainment - Loved how there was a Bluetooth speaker and several different games to keep us entertained. * Location - Zarah picked a beautiful spot for us on Sunset Cliffs that was overlooking the ocean, and we had the perfect view of the sunset. * Charcuterie - Everything was soooo good, and the heart places were a nice touch/very fitting for the occasion. * Communication - Zarah sends a precise location (with coordinates) and we had no difficulties whatsoever trying to find our spot. Thank you so much, Zarah! We won't ever forget this experience. Definitely will book more picnics in the future whenever we're back in the area :) read more

If anyone needs a day of coordinator, Zarah is thee one! She went above and beyond for my daughters Debut/18th Birthday. I don't know what I would have done without her. From making me realize I got the wrong votive candles with too short of a candle life, to finding one with good reviews the day before the event and making sure we got them on time. She made sure all the vendors were on time, helped solve an issue with the entrance decor gone wrong, chair delivery issues and everything in between. Everything went so well and smoothly during the event. I even received compliments from my guest on how everything flowed so well during the entire event and how much fun everyone had. It was such a pleasure to work with her and her calmness helped put my anxiety at ease I will definitely be contacting her in the future if I need someone for a special event. And if anyone I know needs help, I will be sending them your way! Thanks again for everything, Zarah! You're the best! read more

Celebrated my wife's bday with a deluxe picnic from Olive and Sage. Zarah was great with setting up my appt, and letting me know exactly what was included, along with letting me choose the theme and food items. Since I was not a fan of sunset cliffs with a little one for the location, Zarah suggested Del Mar park which still had a beautiful ocean view. My wife was thrilled and so surprised with the picnic and we loved all the food and drinks we had. The jar desserts were yummy too. The little one enjoyed having some board games to play while we snacked and enjoyed the ocean view. She is super sweet, professional and on time. All the details that go in, make it a magical day. I would highly recommend Olive and Sage for any special occasion. I look forward to using her services again. read more

Lovelovelooooove this business! I've seen a bunch of similar ones on instagram that charge for so many small things but Olive&Sage has reasonable prices that will not break the bank. My friend and I booked for two, which was $100. Definitely a steal especially for everything else that was included..setup and clean up, speakers, lighting, games, huge charcuterie and beverages, super cute decor, and a memorable time with my sistahsistah!! For all of you instagrammers, this picnic had a lot of ig worthy shots. My friend and I were their lucky first customers so I'm sure they've added more awesome things. Btw they provide $25 referral discounts that can be combined for a max of $100. So I'll for sure be booking another picnic with them!! read more

My group and I found them through instagram and it all started with a simple DM. Olive and Sage was very prompt with responding and very accommodating when we had a change of date and location. We actually wanted to have our picnic in a park but there were a few concerns in our party about public spaces. We asked about a change of location (backyard) the night before our event and it was not a problem. The set up for our picnic was beautiful and the addition of the macramé photo area was amazing! Going to use Olive & Sage again for a future event :) read more

Perfect way to celebrate anything! Zarah, the host, was great to work with and kindly answered my numerous questions quickly. The set-up was beautiful in Cuvier Park, La Jolla and the views were incredible. We had seven guests, so I booked the party picnic package and got to enjoy it for 2.5 hours. Cheese platter was delicious, and my son loved the giant Connect 4 game! Countless people stopped by to admire the set-up. read more

I booked with Olive and Sage for a Sprinkle for my girlfriend. I live in LA and the Sprinkle was in San Diego. All the details were taken care of prior to event via email or text with Zahra. She helped refer me to other vendors for certain things such as a bakery which also did a great job and she also got us a arch with balloons which were adorable. Not only was her setup just so cute and on point... her and her crew came in... helped set it all up and incorporated all of the extra things we had as well. I wasnt expecting that and was a HUGE help to us. They helped put up our decorations and set up the food etc. I really was appreciative and they helped the entire day go smoothly. I definitely recommend them. read more

Zarah is incredible, she went above and beyond as this was a destination bachelorette. She not only planned the cutest picnic ever, she also helped plan the entire weekend for me. Offered restaurant, club and Air BnB recommendations, she procured all decorations and setup the entire place for us and fully stocked the fridge. She met us at the airport and stored our baggage as well since we had a late check in. She is the perfect executor, and great with ideas. You will not regret hiring her. Zarah, please move to Texas and do the rest of my events, thank you. read more

Had so much fun at our gorgeous picnic at Kate sessions park. Everything was set up with such a beautiful aesthetic in mind! I decided to use Olive and Sage on a weekend my mom came in town as part of our girls weekend. Zarah was super communicative throughout the entire process. I told her I was vegan and she made sure to include plenty of vegan options on the charcuterie board. The picnic was 2 1/2 hours for 2 people and was $100 including the charcuterie board set up and clean up. Such a great deal! I would most definitely use this company again. Thinking about setting something up for my next book club! I would highly recommend! You can also choose to have a picnic at multiple locations throughout San Diego. Next One may have to be at Sunset Cliffs! read more

Our Olive & Sage picnic was the highlight of our weekend! We had 18 people celebrating a bachelorette party in San Diego, and because of covid, getting a dinner reservation for our whole party was very tough. We turned to Zarah and her AMAZING picnic planning skills to enjoy a sunset dinner picnic at Marine Street Beach. Everything looked like it was out of a fairytale! The setup was amazing, Zarah communicated every little detail, and we couldn't be happier with the way our evening went! We will be talking about this picnic forever!
