Came here for the first time on a Saturday around 10am and got the $20 day pass per person. The courts were not full which was nice so we did not need to reserve a court (which is another $20). Also, if you do not have a paddle, you can rent one for $10 and they will keep your ID until your return the paddle. Next to the courts, there are canopies and benches to leave your stuff while you play. There's also an area where you can lounge/relax and watch everyone else play. There's also giant jenga, etc. it would be a good place to host something here. There's also a water filter area to refill your water bottle. Restrooms were very clean too. Large parking lot but it can fill up pretty quickly.

One of SD's premier pickleball locations! Truly a hub for great gameplay with great people. There is a spacious parking lot that fills up. Located right off the 94 freeway in Spring Valley. Clean and spacious with tons of courts. Day passes are $20, with $10 promotions happening on weekends after 2pm. Memberships start at $110/month plus initiation. I super enjoy playing here.

I came to The HUB for my first time. The HUB is a pickleball court located in the Casa de Oro-Mount Helix, CA. It was such a pleasure conversing with the cashier Celini, thanks for being so sweet and friendly. Also, allowing me to charge my cellphone at the front desk. Although, my shift from a staffing agency was cancelled, Celini was friendly towards me. She was resourceful since she suggested McKenzie Park for another pickleball court.

Not even 30 seconds to a minute walking onto the court and my group was already being snapped at by an elderly woman on all the policies at Del Cerri Tennis Club and Pickleball Hub. The many rules include placing your bags on very specific designated spots - certain courts don't have a bench, certain courts share a small bleachers area, you can't drink water on the court. Etc etc. It's totally fine to have standards and rules but it's not fine to be rudely condescending literally SECONDS into showing up our FIRST time. All of this condescending and uppity attitude and they charge $20/hr for a court! I much prefer Barnes for their ample parking, better weather, and welcoming attitude.

Note that you have to sign up for open play online and it appears to fill up quickly. Their Open play is convenient for people with day jobs since it started at 6:30pm. It is relatively easy to find but the parking lot was smaller than I expected (although there were open spots when I arrived). As i was new, the check-in person was very nice and explained the format, where to find the bathrooms, etc which I especially appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of courts, ranging from beginner to intermediate (majority were there) to advanced. They're in a long corridor with courts on both sides and have decent seating areas and good lighting. However I do wish the bathrooms were closer. Overall I had a good time and was able to play quite a few games with friendly people.
