THE HUB @ PICKLEBALL Parking is available right out front, and it's completely free for all customers going to The Hub. My friends and I came to this Pickleball Hub because it was free for all SDSU students, so I was really excited to check it out. Walking in, you can immediately tell the place was recently renovated it looks super modern with white and blue tiles and marble-like finishes. It's honestly beautiful, and I loved the clean, fresh vibe. The staff was extremely friendly, and right at the entrance there were pickleball sets you could purchase, along with snacks, granola bars, and other small things. Checking in was super easy. When we headed outside, there were multiple courts and a good amount of people playing. We played from about 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, even though the courts were available until 4:30 PM, and it was seriously such a fun time. You do have to bring your own racket unless you rent one, but luckily we brought ours, so it was no problem. The bathrooms were also really nice, which I appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back for free again. It's fun, super student-friendly, and full of SDSU students just having a good time.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday around 10am and got the $20 day pass per person. The courts were not full which was nice so we did not need to reserve a court (which is another $20). Also, if you do not have a paddle, you can rent one for $10 and they will keep your ID until your return the paddle. Next to the courts, there are canopies and benches to leave your stuff while you play. There's also an area where you can lounge/relax and watch everyone else play. There's also giant jenga, etc. it would be a good place to host something here. There's also a water filter area to refill your water bottle. Restrooms were very clean too. Large parking lot but it can fill up pretty quickly.

One of SD's premier pickleball locations! Truly a hub for great gameplay with great people. There is a spacious parking lot that fills up. Located right off the 94 freeway in Spring Valley. Clean and spacious with tons of courts. Day passes are $20, with $10 promotions happening on weekends after 2pm. Memberships start at $110/month plus initiation. I super enjoy playing here.

We recently hosted a birthday party at The Hub Pickleball and had such a great experience from start to finish. The venue was fun, organized, and perfect for a group event, but what really made the experience exceptional was working with Tammy, the event coordinator. She was incredibly responsive, accommodating, organized, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Planning a group event can be stressful, but Tammy made the entire process feel easy and seamless. She went above and beyond to make sure our party was a success and that all of our guests had an amazing time. She booked us the Center Court with a Skyloft so our party can gather and order from their cafe menu. She even put up a birthday sign for us! We also arrived a few mins late, but she extended the time for us so we were able to enjoy our full hour! We're so grateful for all of her help and would highly recommend both The Hub and Tammy for anyone planning a birthday or special event!

I came to The HUB for my first time. The HUB is a pickleball court located in the Casa de Oro-Mount Helix, CA. It was such a pleasure conversing with the cashier Celini, thanks for being so sweet and friendly. Also, allowing me to charge my cellphone at the front desk. Although, my shift from a staffing agency was cancelled, Celini was friendly towards me. She was resourceful since she suggested McKenzie Park for another pickleball court.

This is long overdue (1 year?) but I just want to acknowledge how incredibly knowledgeable and…read morehelpful the "older" man working in the shoe section was as I was trying to choose shoes for a long upcoming trek. Because of him and the cashiers working at the time (who helped me with a return and a discount coupon and were very patient) I am giving this location 5 stars. This was a second visit. I only came back to the store as I had a return. My first experience was miserable. The "younger" male at the shoe area was very unhelpful, part of why I ended up with the wrong type of shoes. What was more distressful for me, though, was how he treated a very elderly gentleman who had trouble walking and putting shoes on and off. It was obviously an effort for this veteran to get into the store from his car, much less to the back of the store. (BTW, he did not appear homeless/disheveled/dirty. The clerk was quite dismissive of this man who was obviously in very very poor physical shape. I ended up helping him try shoes on (the clerk disappeared), and made suggestions the clerk should've been making for shoes that were easier to put on and walk in. Anyway, the clerk didn't seem to care about his job or the customers. I don't recall any other noticeable interactions with other staff. I had planned a 1 star rating but never got around to it. Then, my next visit I met the older clerk/manager? who was attentive, helpful, patient and everything the first clerk wasn't. So that made up for it for me. HE would've been kind to the elderly gentleman. And the rest of the staff was lovely. So I decided on 4 stars. I just hope the district managers talk to staff about kindness to all, especially for those who need it most.

I picked up a couple of pairs of shoes from this Big 5 Sporting Goods store. One pair for walking…read moreand another for easy to moderate hiking trails. They had both in stock, so located them was quick and easy, not to mention having my size. Both pairs were very affordable. The young lady at the register was very cool and helpful. The store was very well stocked and organized. They offer a good amount of parking at this location and a very good selection of shoes.
