Live Wire - James came to my rescue. Mercury was reviewing my home and wanted the electric panel replaced. I received the letter with 1 month to get the task done. James not only was able to assist me, he understands the City of HB and knows some of the inspectors. He was able to complete the task with ease, professionalism, great communicator, returns calls, didn't ask for any down payment. I recommend him for your electrical needs Ramona S. read more

I've had James and his team do electrical work at my home several times. He is one of the nicest guys and always goes the extra mile to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. His prices are very competitive. Just as an example, he came to install a picture light, led lights, a ceiling fan and shower lights for me. He noticed my fan has a little movement side to side. He brought it up and went to his truck and brought a weight to fix it free of charge. Then I mentioned my bathroom light switches were cracked and he went back to his truck and fixed them free of charge as well. I offered to pay, but he said don't worry about it. He's thinking a long term business relationship and I appreciate that. That's why he's the guy I'll always call and refer to others. You feel comfortable that he cares and is not shady or trying to overcharge you. He's the kind of guy who's so pleasant and good at what he does that I find myself trying to think what other electrical upgrades would be nice to do. I recommend him highly! read more

We had Live Wire Electrical Power and Support come to our house to install ceiling lights in 4 rooms of our house. They did the work quickly and made sure that the lights were installed to optimize their use. I'm pretty sure they left our house cleaner than they found it, even with having to drill multiple holes in the ceilings for the recessed light fixtures. If we need to have anymore electrical work done, we will definitely call them again! read more

Was looking for some guys to install some lights and came across live wire. I gave them a call and they were so professional! They gave me an appointment time and arrived promptly to assess the situation and to give me a quote. Their price was really affordable and they were completely honest. They gave me a time that they could install the lights and arrived on time once again. They gave me an estimate amount of time that they would finish the job and finished it well before which is more than anyone can ask for when it comes to construction work. They were also very considerate! For example, they wore shoe booties when they entered the house. I'm more than satisfied with the job and will be calling them in the future for any electrical work. read more

So glad we found James! What a nice man! We are selling our home and had to fix a few things. Was not an easy job! James had to make sense of intricate wiring that previous homeowners left us with. I was asking for recommendations for local electrician to install a chandelier and I decided to call Pottery Barn where I purchased the chandelier and the store manager recommended James from Live Wire EPS who had done some work for her. He came out, actually 2 electricians from Live Wire came together to do the job, and WOW, I am so happy and so impressed! First of all, the company is so professional! When I called them, they confirmed they are licensed electricians which was important to me, there was no charge for them to come out and quote the job and if I agreed to the price they would do the job on the spot. On the morning of my appointment, a rep called to confirm. They showed up right on time in their Live Wire EPS company truck. They put scrub booties over their shoes before they came in. They were so professional and so nice and took a lot of time and care to get everything just right! I love the work they did and I highly recommend them! We will definitely be having them back again as soon as we pick the other lighting we want to add to our house! read more

Live Wire has come to my aid 3 times in a row for different electrical issues. They handled each job perfectly and quickly and extremely reasonably. Really, I can't thank them enough. Live Wire responds immediately and always arrive exactly when they say. They are quiet and leave no mess or disruption. They are so knowledgeable and capable and they really aren't words enough to thank the entire team for being so consistently professional and problem-solving. In my experience, and my whole family agrees, run don't walk to your phone or cell or android and call Live Wire for any electrical need or truly expert direction or advice for the simplest or most advanced electrical needs. read more

I've owned my home for almost three years and I'm constantly finding things to tweak/improve and electrical has been high on my list the entire time. A friend suggested James and Live Wire and I haven't used anybody else since. He's hung fans, installed can lighting, wired about four TV's to a central hub in our closet, installed speakers in the living room and on the patio, and replaced our circuit panel thingy. He's methodical and conscientious which I seriously appreciate in a trade where if they aren't those things it could burn my house down. Sorry about the grammar... Anyway, you should feel comfortable hiring James and Live Wire to work on your home. They are great. read more

This is the best electrical company I have dealt with ever and I have dealt with many in my lifetime. They are timely, patient and caring about the customer and their work. The quality of work is awesome. Cheryl who takes the phone calls is extremely nice and patient, I must have called her 5 times over a few days and she continued to be very patient and helpful. James and company (Lucas I think) arrived on time, very professional and pleasant. They immediately made me feel comfortable and confident. They replaced my 4 outside lights around the house in less than an hour, then they put the ceiling fan together and installed in no time. The existing fan stopped working but before they assembled the new fan James tried to get the old fan to work. Which I thought was really awesome and thoughtful. I would hire this company for any electrical work I have around my house. I would also refer them to anyone who asked. Great job, professional and kind hearted human beings. I'm am very proud to refer them oh yeah their prices are reasonable and fair. read more

These guys are awesome! They are courteous and on tim. They will be my electricians for any job i have. I found them on Home Depot's Red Beacon and chose them based on their ratings and number of jobs. I needed 3 ceiling fans installed and but i had super low ceilings and very small rooms. They recommended smaller fans and adding recessed lighting. They did an amazing job on the ceiling fans and the recessed lighting. They did such a good job, i had them replace all my other recessed lighting with LEDs. Choose these guys, you will not be disapointed. read more

Home Depot recommended about three companies for me to work with and out of the three (and others that I researched) I'm so happy that I choose Live Wire. James showed up when he said he would and on-time. Finished the work when he said he would. During the box change Edison showed up to connect the power, well the Edison employee screwed up and almost burnt my house down. (James was not at my house when Edison did this) When Edison called me I had no clue as to what they were talking about so I called James and he took his own time to talk to Edison and figure out what they screwed up and told me how to handle it. He definitely went above and beyond the job expectation that I had. Would highly recommend James and this company to everyone. read more
