I got lucky with I Do b/c after seeing some others, I knew I had to do soooome research. But I was trying to get better pricing, etc and then alot were booked. I was getting antsy, but it must have been a blessing in disguise. I went to see this booth at the Adler Planetarium a 6 weeks before my wedding and they were so nice and answered every question and even let me take some pics. hehe. Booked. THEN - I had a slight problem with other photobooth frames I had purchased and was freaking out b/c the I Do pics didn't fit in them. UH-OH. I called them up and got the manager and explained my problem and he offered their frames at a very competetive price! So sweet! And they were a HUGE hit at the wedding - there was a line all night and competitions like who could be funniest, most outrageous, goofiest, etc. From the props, the book, the copies (digital and hard), guest enjoyment and awesome customer service and SUPER nice attendants - they were great! It is definitely a bit of a splurge, but is not that bad since they are your favors too - SO worth it. Looking at my guest book and all the messages remind me how much fun we all had that night and that's the best!

Our attendant, Sandra, was such high energy and great at prompting so no one felt awkward in front of the camera. Fotio is also such a small seamless setup as opposed to other photo booths that need a ton of space or equipment to operate. If you're on the fence about doing it, BOOK IT! The whole process was super easy. I just visited the link to the photo booth in the email from my CM (Yelp community manager), and the app gives you the option to select a still image, a GIF, or a burst of images. When you select any of the media options, you have the choice to either upload an already snapped pic, or open up the camera to take a new photo on the spot. Whichever way you choose to do the photo, you next just drag and center the photo however you like. Then you will approve the final product and select how you'd like to share it - either via text or email to yourself or others. It's all so simple and seamless and I would definitely use this tool next time I have a large personal or corporate event!

One Star. original review: We were so surprised and aghast that this highly-recommended photo vendor failed so epically: 1) subjects were cut out of photos 2) backdrop was broken and we had to fix it Big Hugs was hired for a large Celebration of Life event bringing together relatives and friends from across the country. To memorialize the day, we provided this service so loved ones could take group and family photos. Only after the event, paging through the photo book, did we see that on the majority of prints, subjects were not even within the frame of the photos! We had approval in advance from Big Hugs to provide our own rented couch to set in front of the backdrop, and asked repeatedly if the couch would appear too low in the frame, or if those standing behind would appear too high. Big Hugs' on-site attendant assured us he would make sure and this would be no problem. Yet in about 35% of photos, taller guests' heads were partially cut off, and guests on the couch appeared only from the neck up. Some were out of frame on the sides of photos. The rest of the photos looked ridiculous because the people on the couch were way down in the lower third of the photo. So, why is an attendant present if it's not to ensure good photographs!? From a once-in-a-lifetime event, our guests took home ridiculous, unprofessional photos as their remembrance. This is not what we intended when hiring a professional photo booth vendor at a premium price. Prior to the event, as the attendant set up, we noticed the backdrop was hanging crooked. Two event planners and myself asked if he would fix this before guests arrived. He replied, "I can't. That's how it is." Our venue manager said to the attendant, "This looks terrible and is unacceptable." He did nothing. So she stepped in herself and created a fix for the broken backdrop provided by Big Hugs. Subsequently, our event planner reached out and explained the situation to Big Hugs, who pushed back saying the attendant reported everything was fine. Then offered a 20% discount. Our planner detailed again the numerous points of failure, and then Big Hugs offered 50% off the remaining balance. That Big Hugs charged us *anything at all* after their epic fail should be an embarrassment to them. Highly do not recommend Big Hugs to anyone seeking professional photo booth for an event they care about.

First of all, the quality of the photos is outstanding. The photos looked super clear but have a classic vintage look as well. Second, our guests went bananas for the photobooth. The kids, not surprisingly, had a field day, but the adults also went all out and people really let loose. Third, as a complete bonus, our Magbooth attendant could not have been more professional! He was friendly but kept control of the booth (and the props) without being overly strict. He was careful to be extra accommodating to the bride and groom and, for example, offered to print out extra copies of our pics when we had multiple people in the booth. My husband and I are very picky when it comes to photography. We've been to several weddings, and usually, the quality of the photo and photo paper for most photobooths is mediocre. We loved Magbooth because they actually use a decent DSLR (my husband noticed that it was a Nikon D3100), and the photo paper isn't flimsy like most other companies. They customize a logo for you and send you a coffee table book with all of your guests' photobooth pictures (with the option of omitting inappropriate pictures if you'd like), which we preferred over other vendors who create a scrapbook for the Bride and Groom. The attendant was great and let us know when he was shutting down the booth to check if we wanted to get some final pictures in. Victor is very responsive via email, and we received our CD of images and coffee table book very quickly. The only downfall is that you only get one photo per sitting so our friends who went into the booth as a group had to decide on who keeps the picture. However, all images are online for download so it wasn't a big deal. We'd highly recommend Magbooth!
