Shannon is a wise and sensitive soul…read more My doctor referred me to Shannon to help me better handle life with a chronic medical condition. From our first session, Shannon approached me with kindness and genuine curiosity. During our time together, she guided me into the inner reaches of my body and mind with patience, openness, and compassion. I had never tried hypnotherapy before my sessions with Shannon. In fact, I went in as a skeptic, but I found Shannon's approach to be powerful and grounded in deep truths. More insights were revealed to me in my couple of months with Shannon than I'd uncovered in the combined years of talk therapy that I've done in the past. Forget what you think you know about hypnotherapy, and take the leap. With Shannon, you're in good hands.

This was my first time doing hypnotherapy so I was a bit nervous to start, but Shannon did a great job explaining to me the process of hypnotherapy and listened intently to what I wanted to work on. After doing a series of sessions with her, I have noticed myself feeling less weighed down by the feelings of sadness and frustration that were so constant for me, and instead moving towards happiness and living the life I want to live. I feel happier day-to-day and more resilient on my hard days. Ultimately, working with Shannon has changed my perspective on life and allowed me to connect with parts of myself I was not even aware of. Shannon is the real deal!

So grateful for their expertise and encouragement after my knee replacement. Jacob has been my…read morephysical therapist and he has worked with me on a variety of stretches as well as corrective and strength-building exercises for my body. After enduring a weak knee and right leg for 12 years, i am now able to walk several miles on a trail and am building agility and strength from there. The physical therapy assistants are also attentive and supportive as they follow the program Jacob lays out each session. Typically, i spent 30 minutes with Jacob and 30 minutes with a PTA. I was welcome to stay and ride the stationary bike if i so chose. Jacob was especially helpful in showing my husband how to work with me. This made my time between sessions more productive. One bit of advice--book appointments way ahead because their schedule is tight. My surgeon's office had told me to book after my surgery and i had to wait 2 weeks to be seen. Strongly recommended. Over the 6 weeks, i observed a lot of clients receiving physical therapy, some for help with sports, others for medical reasons. The facility is up to date, spacious, and clean.

This review is long overdue. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Burns as you tell by the…read morelength of this review. My family and I have been seeing her for the last 2 years and she has truly been a Godsend. She is the ONLY doctor I trust now in treating my 6 and 8 year old. She's professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and has a lot of common sense in connecting dots that most other doctors cannot do. She has helped my 74 year old mother and my dad (who is in his 80's) He now sees her as well. My dad was the biggest skeptic out there being an old school physician himself and was very skeptical about non-traditional medicine and homeopathy because of his profession. But as he saw it working on my daughter, he became intrigued and decided to take a leap as well. In just one week of seeing Dr. Burns, he finally got relief from debilitating burning pains in his arms and legs and insomnia that he has been suffering from for years! He is a loyal patient now. Traditional medicine is great for some things like trauma, fixing a broken bone and mechanical injuries -- great at bandaid fixes -- but I started to explore non-traditional Western medicine when I saw Western medicine failing my oldest daughter and actually making her sicker. The doctors (some who were supposedly the best (specialists even) and probably are as far as Western Medicine goes) really messed my 8 year old daughter up with steroid creams to treat her eczema and antibiotics for yearly bouts of pneumonia. I lost all faith in doctors at that point and dreaded seeing them. It felt like every time we went in with something, they were either shoving more antibiotics or steroid creams down my throat, even steroid inhalers for an asthma bout. That is when I found Dr. Burns and knew from the initial consult, she was going to be our doctor from there on forward. She was so thorough and knowledgeable. She has not only been more successful in treating my daughters' illnesses over the last two years (antibiotic and steroid free!), she has helped strengthen their immune systems where they don't get sick that often anymore. She has addressed my daughter's underlying cause of eczema instead of suppressing the problem with steroid creams. My daughter is the healthiest and happiest she has ever been. I too have seen Dr. Burns over the last two years to address some chronic health issues, including anxiety from my daughter's chronic health issues, insomnia, hair loss, chronic hives and skin rashes, and fatigue. I have seen her for illnesses, colds, food allergies and my health has no doubt, dramatically improved over the last two years. My anxiety is a thing of the past. She has educated and empowered me, made me less afraid of illness and has helped me see and trust the body's innate wisdom to heal without all these hardcore medications Western Medicine tries to throw at every problem. She has a really balanced approach and perspective and knows when antibiotics might be needed. She is not 'against' pharmaceuticals or traditional Western Medicine. She knows they have their place sometimes, but she explores every other option first and walk me through acute illnesses with my kids, reassuring me along the way. We have had success with homeopathy with every illness we have gone in for, even my daughter's UTI. She didn't end up needing antibiotics for it. Dr. Burns really listens and cares and is a true 'partner' in healthcare. She worked for a number of years under the traditional Western Medicine model as a nurse, so really has an understanding of both traditional and non-traditional holistic medicine. I appreciate her background in western medicine because she understands both perspectives. I have referred a number of friends and family members to Dr. Burns over the last couple of years for things like anxiety, insomnia, heart palpitations, skin rashes, migraines, digestive issues, food allergies, fears, and nerve issues -- and I can confidently say that all have had positive experiences with her. It is rare to find such a genuine, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor who is truly in medicine because she cares and wants to see her patients get better and not need her any longer. She wants to see her patients get stronger and healthier to the point they don't need her. She has taught me so much about homeopathy and empowered me in taking charge of my children's health -- not to be afraid. I am so grateful that a fellow doctor I was seeing referred me and my daughters to her. She has changed my life and both my daughters. I highly recommend Dr. Burns to anyone who is open to seeing another side to medicine and healing that other countries wholeheartedly embrace and for good reason. Two years ago, I knew nothing about homeopathy and herbs, holistic medicine and now I can't imagine treating illnesses and sickness any other way. Both my daughters now ask for Dr. Burns whenever they get a cold or are not feeling well.

Excellent care. Dr Burns spends a lot of time on research and focusing on your issues. Very…read moreknowledgeable. Looking forward to continuing to working on my health with her.
