It was a popular spot with many people doing their afternoon shopping. The beer selection was amazing for me, lots of Russian River and other regional staples. I feel like it's presence in the area has changed the tone of the other businesses and bringing the quality up substantially. Owned and operated by the stellar team from Petaluma Market, Penngrove market has a ton of amazing things. I have been known to pop in and wander even if I don't have anything I need, just to see what they have seasonally or new. I love their gourmet options and so much is locally sourced. In the back, you will find fresh pizza and sandwiches made for lunch time and dinner and they also do to go dinner that you can pre-order for your entire family which is great. Some of my favorite things from Penngrove market are the JM Rosen cheesecake, their awesome selection of chocolates and desserts, and the ever-changing coffee, tea and spices. For the wine and beer drinkers, they have a small but impressive selection of local and imported beverages, as well as many drinks for those looking for something refreshing and non-alcoholic. The coffee bar at the front is an excellent choice for morning pastry and hot drink, or you can bypass that entirely and go for the Strauss organic soft serve which is honestly not to be missed. The location of the store is easy to get to as long as you are coming at a time that does not coincide with school pickup, and there's lots of parking right on the street or in their parking lot. Prices are moderately high, but what you get for that price is high quality and supporting local business which works for me!

They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.

We pulled in through the gates and saw a small field of flowers to the left, along with a shed-like structure and a house in the back. The right side was pretty empty; I'm guessing whatever was growing there had already been harvested. We stood around for a few mins pretty confused about how it all worked. We found a sign saying that CSA members get to cut for free and a pricing chart for non-members. There were clippers and a knife sitting next to a stack of boxes, so we grabbed one of each and headed for the garden. The selection wasn't quite what we expected, but we still got a great bunch of flowers and sunflowers. Some were a little difficult to access from the walkways, so we just tried to be as careful as possible. When we were done, we tried to pay, but there wasn't really a designated place to leave money, so we just stuck it under a box inside the shed area (I hope they got it!). Very cute place! A little confusing for first-timers, but overall a nice experience.
