They collect your payment upfront so that once you see the doctor you are free to go. Dr. Gage always comes in like he has all the time in the world. He reviews your cardiac system and open to the discussion for any potential issues that may be occurring. He does a comprehensive review of all medications and answers any questions. As busy as they are you wouldn't think that the atmosphere would be so relaxed, but it is! This time there was a discussion that ensued related to the cardiac stress test that Tom is due for per the American heart Association guidelines. When Dr. Gage found out that times negativity was related to the physical portion of the stress test he advised there is also a chemical stress test that can be taken. I was glad that he brought This option up as I think Tom will be able to see his way clear to having that. The med techs there are also spot on. The hubby has to get an EKG every six months that correlates with his follow up and the med techs there are very able and proficient. Probably sounds kind of funny to take a treat to the cardiology office but Tom has always drop Dan with round rock donuts for them and I suspect he will do that again this holiday season since I am not planning on baking this year. Long story short, after a visit with him last February, he got me on the correct medication, including a heart stress test to diagnose any other problems. Fast forward almost a year later, and I sat down with his assistant Sarah (APRN, AGCNS-BC,RVT), who helped tweak my medication since my blood pressure had risen into the red zone. I appreciate the fact that she was able to squeeze me in on the same day I recognized this issue. There are a few other doctors who also work in this office, which I'm sure are just as good as the two I've had the pleasure of seeing. At my appointment on March 3, Dr. Kessler personally assured me the form would be sent. As of today, March 5, 3:30p the hospital still has not received it, putting my procedure at risk of being cancelled. I have left multiple messages on their portal and called several departments, but no one answers the phones and there has been no response. When a patient in severe pain cannot obtain a simple clearance form after repeated requests with a direct promise from the physician, it raises serious concerns about communication and patient care in this office. I hope this situation is addressed so other patients do not face the same experience.

He reviewed medical history, previous lab results from another primary doctor and all of the meds that had been taken. What had been "acceptable" results were scrutinized and meds changed to hopefully achieve better results. Professional staff are very capable and execute their roles effectively. .Desk staff are friendly but clear that there are some that need more training.
