Have to thank Dave for a great time on the hiking and brewery trip! The outing was very well organized, with Dave being the driver, tour guide, and lunch maker all in one. He is very knowledgeable about the area where we went (Delaware water gap) and knew the hiking trail well too. I like how the size of the group wasn't too big so it was easier to get to know more people. Everyone was really excited to get some nice fresh air and exercise and of course visit a brewery! The hike was a moderate trail with some bigger hills up and down and a lot of rocks to watch your footing on. After the hike we were all hungry and ready for some beer. We stopped at Jersey Girl brewing where we all had flights and got a little tour of the place where all the action happens! The only criticism I have is with the lunch. It was very simple: chips, pickles, and homemade sandwiches with meat and cheese. There were a few vegetarian options but it was very heavy on the bread overall. I would love to see some kind of healthier alternative like a quinoa or lentil dish, which I would be happy to help with! read more

I did the Halloween Hike and Brew and it was amazing! So much fun and Dave is such a great guide and conversationalist with everyone. Dave was very easy to find since he sent us an email letting us know exactly where he'll be. From there, he drove the whole group in a van with awesome coffee for everyone. Once we arrived, we all got sandwiches Dave packed for us all and was off to seriously such a great hike. Dave made sure nobody from the group was left behind. Once the whole hike was done, we drove over to the brewery and Dave got pizza for everyone. Such a great time and arrived back at the time we expected Definitely would recommend and can't wait to go on another adventure!! read more

I have been on several of the LMA ski trips to Vermont over the past few years. Dave and his team do a really great job at pulling together fantastic trips with awesome people. The accommodations and food have always been top notch. I really enjoyed the German-themed dinner with sausage and pretzels, and the house itself was just amazing - multiple hot tubs, great bar room downstairs, private rooms, and plenty of lounge space to relax and have some time away from the crowd when I wanted it. The trip itself was super easy with virtually nothing to worry about - all the logistics were taken care of (food, booze, lift tickets, lessons, even a free alpaca wool hat!), all I had to do was show up and enjoy myself. This trip was at least 1000% better than any ski trip I could have organized myself, and without any of the work. I got to meet some new people, stay in an awesome place, eat great food, and enjoy Killington, all without having to consider one logistical detail. I am very happy with the experience I had and will definitely be showing up at more trips in the future. read more

We enjoyed two awesome events with LMA over the past few years: white water rafting and a ski trip up at Gore Mountain. Dave is a fantastic host and is clearly passionate about the outdoors. He is a great guide for us city folks and also takes his time with beginners. He makes people feel comfortable and we have made great memories from these trip. I went on an incredible hike with Dave to the Delaware Water gap. Dave was great at pacing the group and in control of the entire situation. The size of the group was perfect (14 people in total I believe) and made for a fun day meeting new and interesting people. After the hike Dave had arranged for everyone to receive a flight of beer (of their choosing) at Jersey Girl Brewery which was a great place! We had time for a tour, the beer was delicious and Dave brought sandwiches which he made on the spot for lunch. While I liked the length of the hike, it was simply longer than I prepared for. I think it was a little more challenging than some had expected. If you are a hiker and love to be outside, this is a great hike for you! I would absolutely go another trip with Dave. The price for everything that is included is very much worth it and he makes it a fun day. read more

I work with a local animal rescue and Dave, the Owner of LMA, reached out to us about coordinating an event together. We organized a dog hike along the Hudson River, and it was a huge success! I was really impressed by their organizational skills and attention to detail and we got a great donation at the end. All of the events are extremely fairly priced and there is amazing food served at all of them, they are also extremely well thought out (especially the menu). I am really excited to organize more events with LMA and attend more as well! read more

I participated in one of the first Scavenger Hunts Dave coordinated in NYC. It was a really fun event that I got to enjoy with my friends running around the city, trying to get photo proof of us doing hilarious things. We ended the night with drinks and food at local pub. The event was team oriented, good spirited and all for a good cause bc the team entry fees were donated to charity after the event. My husband, dog and I also helped Dave scout the trail hike location for the hike he organized with a NYC shelter. This event led to the adoption of several dogs! I haven't been able to attend the Big Haus ski/snowboard trips yet but heard great things from my husband and brother who have been on this trip. We will try to make it this year with our new baby girl to get her acclimated to the snow as early as possible :-) read more
