But she offered a coupon and a discount so although it was more than I was wanting to spend, I decided to have it clean even though it wasn't that dirty but because we were moving to a new home. Fast forward to pickup and the bill was $189 with tax. I was unwilling to pay that as we just purchased 2 new rugs from Costco for $150 each (before sale which lowered price). Received a call from someone the following Monday who could only knock another $20 off and was completely unwilling to meet the expected pricing I was given or find a solution. I felt uncomfortable not paying them for work completed but I could not justify more than $125 for cleaning this rug. So now I'm out a rug and will need to find a new rug cleaner in the future.

When it comes to home improvement I am unskilled to say the least. I got it in my head that I was going to do the carpet myself. So believe you me I made a mess. I cut some too short and ran some the wrong way. All types of mistakes. I worked on it Friday 6pm to 3am Saturday and then again Saturday 10am to 9pm. By 9 I was laying on the floor wishing I didn't exist. I had this job really botched and didn't know what to do. This is when I called in a professional! I can't believe the awesome job Rob did fixing all the terrible cuts and seams I tried. It really turned out awesome. I can only imagine it's way harder to fix someone else's work than to just do it from the beginning. I was originally worried he wouldn't take the job once he saw what I did. FOR ONLY $300 smackers!
