I've had a few bad experiences with day cares before finding Little Thinkers and I am so infinitely grateful that I did. Before enrolling my 2 year old here I had her in a Kinder Care that I pulled her out of within the first week. By the time I would pull into the parking lot of that old day care she would be screaming and clinging to me which she had NEVER done before at any other day care. I was so stuck on this idea of having her in a super fancy day care thinking that this meant a good education for her. I came to Little Thinkers with extreme hesitance the first time given that I had so many bad experiences and they were so patient with me. I had so many questions during my tour and they (lucky for me) never grew impatient with me. I came not only once for a tour, but twice at different times of day to make sure my daughter was going to a good place. The biggest thing that stuck out to me during my tour was that the assistant director at the time said "it's not only about the education, but it's about giving the kids love and teaching them manners". That completely sold it for me, I knew this was the right place. The first two days were slightly difficult of course as she did still cry alittle bit since it was unfamiliar, but I kid you not by the third day she was here, she not only stopped crying completely at drop off and basically ignored me saying bye because she was happy to be there, but she literally threw a tantrum when it was time to go home. Now that tantrum I didn't mind!! Lol. My daughter has never been so happy to go to school like this at any of her day cares before! She is thriving at this school and everyday comes home speaking better sentences, learning different things in both Spanish and English. My daughter LOVES coming to school. On weekends she asks me to go. It means so much to me in a state where I have little family that I have a place like Little Thinkers that I trust as I would my own family.
I also just recently enrolled my 3 month old after maternity leave and it was so so so relieving to drop him off and not have to worry. They are so helpful in the baby room, and they give you such thorough updates at pick up about how their day went. They address any concerns with the same amount of care the parent would which is just so relieving. Being on maternity leave I would drop my daughter off at all different times of day as well. I've never ever seen anything alarming happening at this day care and I've literally come at every single hour of the day at one point or another.
This day care is all around clean, the food they serve is also good for the kids which doesn't make me feel bad about not bringing lunch, and they truly truly care for your kids as their own. I used to be a day care teacher myself where I put my heart into my job and those kids, so all I look for in day cares for my children is that same care back. All I've received for my kids from this day care is nothing but love. I highly commend Norma on running such an amazing day care. I can be at work and I don't even worry about my kids which is the best feeling especially with a 3 month old. My kids won't be going anywhere as long as Little Thinkers is around. read more
