Walking into the theater. I was in theater 11. It's tiny and dated! The seats in glad I didn't wear white because I would've had a stain. My seat had a wet spot on the left side. These are cloth seats so when the lights were on you could see how worn they were. If they keep these seats they're in need of a good deep deep shampoo. A good thing about the seats they do recline a bit. The theater was very warm I was relieved to walk outside into the cool air. The bathrooms whew so I'm not sure who cleans them or when but I walked in and walked right back out and just waited to get to my in-laws house because they were disgusting and apparently had little to no toilet paper I heard a woman complaining about the lack thereof. I had to remind myself this is not Atlanta so stop comparing apples to oranges but for this movie theater to be in the location it is it is in dire need of a renovation and thicker walls. There were frequent instances where I could hear people in the hallways over the movie. Crazy how my complaints are the same as those from over 4 years ago. For the price a lot needs to change here.

The condition of the auditorium was unsanitary and made the movie-going experience very unpleasant. Customers should be able to expect a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment when purchasing tickets to a Regal theater. I respectfully request that management inspect Auditorium 12 and take immediate steps to address the odor and cleanliness of the seating area. The staff was so nice and was careful to make sure we got everything we wanted but also was so nice about items that were sold out. A group of girls was at the bottom of the theater exchanging friendship bracelets. It was so fun to see that. We ate our food while we waited for the previews to start. We had never been to this theater or anything like it. We don't have AMC theaters in Charleston. The recliners didn't work for 2 of our 3 seats (so minus one star for that). Overall, the theater was well maintained from what we could tell. There was a lot of room for people to walk by if they needed to get out of the row. One of the arm rests came up so it was like sitting on a couch. While watching the movie, the sound was great and the screen was clear, however there were some parts that seemed grainy where at the show we saw the day before at another theater, it was not grainy. A LOT of the Swifties were singing soooo loud and you could still hear Taylor so clearly! It was great!! No one was rude about standing in the way or anything like that. Everyone was so nice!! I was helped by a representative named Destiny, and unfortunately, the level of customer service I received was extremely poor. From the beginning of the interaction, her attitude came across as dismissive and unwelcoming. My family and I made a simple request for an extra popcorn container so we could share our popcorn, but instead of trying to help or responding in a friendly manner, Destiny made the situation feel like we were asking for something unreasonable. Her tone, facial expressions, and overall demeanor made us feel uncomfortable. When I asked a question, she appeared visibly annoyed, sighed, and acted as though our request was a burden. Customer service should be about making guests feel valued, not making them feel like they are causing an inconvenience. To make matters worse, she also failed to provide the candy and drink that were part of our order, which showed a lack of care and attention. What should have been a fun outing with my family was negatively affected by an interaction that could have easily been handled with basic courtesy and professionalism. I hope AMC takes this feedback seriously and works with Destiny to improve her customer service approach. Employees represent the company, and guests deserve to be treated with patience, respect, and a positive attitude.
