Our daughter has only taken lessons for a year but she has really excelled with their training! Perhaps the facilities aren't as new and pretty as some of the North Fulton stables, but I can definitely say her Camp experiences were night and day from one in Milton (2010, very basic) versus Falcon Ridge (2011, more fun for her, more in-depth lessons). Looking forward to seeing her continue to learn and do more in the future! Big fan!

Watched my 8 year old ride in the covered arena on a rainy day - an accident waiting to happen. I…read morecould hardly watch. The horse she was on seemed distracted and she couldn't control it. Her young "trainer" just kept yelling at her to use her legs, but I could tell she was frightened and didn't know what that meant. The part of the covered arena she was using wasn't entirely covered, so the rain was still getting in, there was lots of mud that her pony did not want to go in, and yet she was with 3 other riders who were having their own lesson using one jump in this tiny area. One of the other girls almost ran into my daughter and then her trainer yelled at her! There were 8 other riders, with 2 different trainers who, maybe because they owned their own horses, were lucky to have the rest of the covered arena although there were lots of horses and riders charging around. What a mess! 12 horses, 12 riders, 3-4 trainers, parents everywhere - chaos. Maybe this place is ok when it's sunny and they can use different riding areas, but things seemed dangerous - I wasn't the only parent that was anxious! Finding somewhere else to ride.

This has become fully commercial center. It's a factory for recreational classes. Do not expect them to focus on skill development, consistent trainers or kids growth. They have over 650 kids, no one cares of particular kid's progress. Classes are merged, coaches changes, timing changes, all this without any info to parents. You are off your own!

My daughter attended this gym for a short while as a Walking Owl and then a Twirling Owl (5-6 yrs…read moreold). At first, it was nice because the instructor was the same each class and they were separated in a different part of the gym. After a few months, the instructor either was reassigned or left and afterward it seemed that a never-ending cycle of subs came and went. The subs didn't know the skill level of the kids and some attempted more advanced things the kids weren't ready for. For instance, my daughter was instructed to do a pullover, got scared, released the bar as the instructor was holding her legs in the air, and fell straight down on her head. I chalked it up to "something that happens" when you're training, but now I know better... beginners aren't ready for certain things. At one point, the class was moved to another area in the gym which required the parents to move to a different viewing area. This area was very dirty and reeked of smelly feet. The floor was so nasty that I wouldn't allow my daughter to walk on it without shoes. The bathrooms were also filthy and they never had paper towels in them. They attempted to spruce things up with fresh paint on the walls, but the floors needed some serious attention. Several parents pulled their kids from the class and new students didn't stay long. The gym seems more focused on competition and doesn't have a desire to develop the next generation of gymnasts. Not impressed.

According to their website they run 21 parks on more than 2,260 acres. This includes 37 baseball fields and at least 20 tennis courts. There are over 34 miles of walking trails and if you go on their website www.crpa.net you can see a listing of their vast and varied organized activities all of which cost the residents of Cherokee county next to nothing to participate.... They have activities such as life guard training by a Red Cross instructor to kayaking at sunrise to dog walking gatherings. There are also special activities designed especially for those over 55 including road trips and hiking activities... Nestled in the woods of Canton lies a fantastic facility for your paintball needs. This isn't just some random setup of obstacles claiming to be a paintball place. There's a western town, a castle, a fort, and of course other open air courses for all of your needs. Some tips: 1. You can bring your own gear or rent theirs. Be mindful that their items will have experienced extensive use so you will have to make some adjustments otherwise you'll have the aim of a stormtrooper. Their rental prices are very reasonable. 2. Be willing to purchase more ammo. Their prices are fantastic and you will run out of supplies from the fun you're having. 3. Do not wear nice clothes. They will get stained, muddy, wet, sweaty, and just plain old nasty. Bring bug repellent because you'll end up running and crawling around the woods. I'll take a paintball to my backside over a tick burrowing into my skin for a free meal. 4. Expect pain! Paintballs fly around 200 mph. You don't need to be a Fields Medal winner to calculate how much pain you'll experience. It's the type of pain that will make you cackle with glee most of the time. 5. Follow the rules that the owners have set up. This is for your safety as well as others. Wear your helmet in the game field at all times. Giving up some comfort is worth keeping your face (and eyes) in order. If you sneak up on someone, don't shoot them in the back from 10 feet away, just ask if they give up and show some compassion. Some pretty nasty fights have happened because of a lack of sportsmanship. 6. Most of all, let go, have fun, and get crazy. Try to live those online gaming moments by creating strategies, flanking opponents, etc. and you'll have a blast. They do big group packages that can save you tons of loot which can be used for MORE AMMO!

From my initial phone call to make a reservation to the final moments of our last game, my group of four had an amazing time. Shout out to Bob the referee! Took the time to really go over the rules, explained all the fields, made sure everyone was safe the entire time, and was kind and helpful the entire day. Rental packages range in price from 35-55 dollars and paint costs 50$ per case. I have two suggestions. One, extended hours starting at 10:00 AM. Two, at least one additional bathroom near the staging area. Well done Nitro, we had a blast!
