I went here with my daughter and my seven-year-old grandson. It is called The Treehouse. It is…read morelocated at Plainfield Christian Church. It is at the children's center. Door 5 around back. There only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 to 11 and 1 to 3. For children ages 2 to 12 years old. When entering you have to check in at the kiosk or the front desk. The place that looks like a large treehouse with two different floors, three slides, and plenty of things to do within the treehouse. The top level with the two big slides are for kids 5 and up Because you have to climb a ladder to get to the second level. There is an area for the kids under two to play with all kinds of toys. Lots of things for kids to play on and play with such as a kitchen with all the fixing grocery carts that seem to be the most popular area. Also, there was a book rack that you could sit down and read a book and comfortable chairs and couches with large Ottomans. Blocks and small basket ball hoop. There is also a kitchen so parents you can get you a cuppa coffee or water or hot chocolate and watch your kids play. They also have snacks for the little ones, there is a refrigerator. The bathroom is in the same area so no leaving the room.

But the biggest contributor is the lack of employee involvement no one walks the area and checks they play area at all. 0 involvement maintaining anything other than checking you in. Price is per hour and parents have to pay to walk around with your kid which is ridiculous considering the fact it's a kid play place obviously I'm not coming here to play. The tables never get cleaned off. The theme of the place is cool. The music is genuinely so god awful that it is impossible to listen to. It's only kids bop for HOURSSSS. I hate no one has mentioned the music is kids bop it's probably the worst part about the entire place. Play area has many different things to do but the music makes you want to leave immediately.

The cafe is large and clean with a variety of different formats for the children to play in. Having a dress up area, some segmented areas for blocks and trains, and individual "store fronts" was great. Our kids had a wonderful time. The only reason I took a star away was inconsistent application of rules as many children were not wearing grip socks while it was included as a requirement. We were asked to purchase these from the cafe when we checked in... which if it is an established rule is fine, but a little annoying that the rule isn't universally applied. The play cafe is also a bit more expensive at ~$17 per child ages 1-10 with no discount for multiple children (as of Feb 2026) compared to other play cafes we have been to. It also did start getting quite crowded around 10:00 AM and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. Still, it is a nice cafe and I'd recommend it to others looking for a place to take your kids, especially if you can avoid the peak periods.

Busy Bees Play Café in Carmel is the perfect spot to grab a coffee while the kids play. There have been plenty of changes every time we visit and I have loved the design each time. The play area is clean and thoughtfully designed. You can tell everything was created with parents and child safety in mind! The staff are friendly and do a good job of making their rounds to tidy up! There's a great variety to keep little ones entertained. I love that I can actually relax with a coffee (which was delicious, by the way!) while still keeping an eye on my kids. Another nice touch is that there are plenty of helpful things in the bathrooms (extra clothes, diapers, wipes, etc) for parents who may have forgotten something. This happened to me the first time we visited and I was so grateful! If you're looking for an easy, fun outing with your kids (especially on cold or rainy days), Busy Bees is a must-visit. The kids will need grip socks while playing, but you can bring in your own. They are also a nut-free facility which is a plus for parents like me who has a child with a nut allergy. There's a "vacant/occupied" slider on the door so you get real privacy. Nursing and pumping moms, you will feel taken care of here. Clean, clean, clean. The whole facility is immaculate. You can tell they genuinely care about upkeep. Come on time! They close for an hour between play sessions and actually turn the lights off--which I love, because it gently encourages the "I want to stay forever" kids that it's truly closed. Smart and considerate. Something for every age. Older kids get a Ninja course and a play area, and the littles have their own HUGE dedicated section. I've never seen anything like it--the space is incredible. Snacks & drinks for the grown-ups too.
