We have driven by numerous times and finally stopped in. The farm itself is gorgeous. They have appromimately 400 head on their property between the Japaneese Black Wagu Bulls and Black Angus Heifer "Mammas" Staff was excetionally welcoming when we visited! They offer tours as well as periodic wine pairing dinners at the main house. We bought a bundle that included 2 ribeyes, 4 burgers, 4 beef sausages and ground meat. Everything was unbelievable. The quality, flavor, and tenderness is exceptional! We will be back again.

It's awesome to see a woman owned wagyu farm that's only an hour away from home. Touring the farm was pretty cool, even though it was freezing outside. They explained how the farm operates and the different types of cows/cuts. The private dinner was delicious. Our group opted for the premium 3 course menu. The appetizer and entrée were both amazing. The dessert received mixed opinions. After dinner, we stopped by the store and purchased a ton of steaks and hot dogs. Looking forward to going back when its warmer out. Thanks Mel and the Ovoka Farm crew for an amazing experience.

We just stayed at the Stone Manor Inn ("SMI") this past weekend and had a lovely time. We were in…read moretown for a family reunion and hosted a dinner party at SMI one evening that was among the highlights of the family weekend. Manisha and Prashsant, owners of Stone Manor Inn, were personally involved in making sure all went smoothly with our cocktail and dinner party, and it most certainly did! SMI is a lovely old country inn on 14 acres, I believe, with a number of different venues (indoors and out) for meetings, parties, and weddings. The rooms (7 in total) were eclectic, in a good way. All four of their largest rooms that we occupied were spacious, with king beds and spa tubs with separate showers. All were well maintained and clean upon check-in. We had no complaints. I'm not sure when we will return to the area, but when we do, we will not hesitate to return!

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THE PHOTOS ONLINE!!! I Stayed the weekend here and had the worst experience…read morehere. Upon arrival the owner had double booked our room. I should of left then but I had made accommodations here months earlier and had no idea where else to go. The owner cliff was unresponsive and was not answering my calls and messages. It was eventually sorted and the other family left without any hesitation, which I found kind of weird. Then upon my second day I realized why. The room was bug infested, there was bugs EVERYWHERE. The plumbing and water pressure was very poor. The beds smelled of mold. The linen and towels were all stained. When I tried reaching out to the owner Cliff, he ghosted me. The final straw was when my tire blown out on the ruff road up to the property. My vacation was ruined. Don't understand how this establishment is in

Several times Cliff offered services, only to get angry and impatient when we asked what different options would cost and then refuse to offer the services at all. Despite many attempts, we never were able to get Cliff to send us a contract to sign even after we had (foolishly) sent our deposit. Then, after we switched wedding planners, the situation became so unacceptably bad that we had to find another venue with six weeks to go until our wedding. We repeatedly woke up to rambling, paranoid 3am e-mails from Cliff accusing us of trying to cheat him (he claimed he had only accepted our booking on the promise of more bookings from our original planning company, which was news to both us and them). It also became clear several months into the process that he thought our original planner was the bride! Cliff insisted that his agreement was with our original wedding planner company (with whom neither he nor Courtland Manor had any prior relationship) and not us, refused to work at all with our new planner, and simply stopped answering our e-mails or calls. Finally when someone answered the phone and misheard our name, and Cliff took the call for the first time in weeks of trying, we could no longer deny that he was intentionally avoiding us, and we lost all confidence that he would act in good faith to host our wedding successfully. We offered an ultimatum that should have been easy and obvious: agree to work with our vendors, answer our calls and e-mails, and send us a signed contract or we would have to find a different venue. He refused, and insisted that he would move forward with the event (i.e., OUR WEDDING) with our old planners (who had already told him they had no further involvement) and without us (???). He also refused to return our deposit, but thankfully we had paid by credit card so, though it took six anxiety-filled months, we were able to get our money back. If not, we would have had to go to court. The venue may seem nice, but there are other equally nice venues available. DON'T RISK HAVING YOUR EVENT HERE.

The views alone are worth the trip. Rolling hills, open skies, and quiet moments that make you forget the pace of DC entirely. What made the experience unforgettable for me was exploring the grounds. The stables are absolutely beautiful, and getting to visit the horses added such a special, personal touch. And yes... I have to mention Cupcake --the sweetest pony who completely stole the show. The fire pits were another highlight. There's something about sitting by the fire, taking in the scenery, and just being present that felt grounding in the best way. It's the kind of place where time stretches a little longer and everything feels a bit softer. Whether you're going for a day trip or a full stay, this is luxury that feels warm, not distant--elevated, but still deeply welcoming. A perfect reminder that sometimes you don't have to go far to truly get away.

The high ceilings and architecture is lovely. I think one of my favorite areas was the dining area for breakfast. There are other gorgeous rooms to lounge in as well. The library is so rich with the dark wood. I loved that you can borrow/leave books! Our room had classic elegance. We had two queen beds and a balcony. If you're curious about pricing a little over $800 per night and that's in the off season. So be prepared to spend some money-- for a night or two, it's a fabulous experience. We had incredible service from the moment we walked up to the front door. The gentleman at the desk answered all our questions and told us about the car service that takes you to various place which is included in your stay, some were wineries and some were restaurants in town. We had marvelous service by Cayden while at the bar/restaurant. So gracious and so apologetic! We knew it was busy in there, but he made sure we were attended to! We spoiled ourselves with breakfast (my favorite space). The food was marvelous. We loved the pancakes and salmon platter. We split everything! Yet again, service was wonderful there too. The spa was gorgeous and incredibly relaxing for the mind body and soul! My friend took advantage of spa amenities. I think my favorite thing to do was sit on the heated stone lounge chair. The treatment room was beautiful. The massage chair could also be positioned in more of an upright position as well. Derek had some magical hands which helped ease a lot of tension I was carrying. He was also wonderful about checking in about pressure too. Some areas of my body can take more than others, he adjusted well to my needs. This is definitely a place to look at if you're up for spending some money. Your experience will be amazing!
