We thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic use of space! There is a lot of good going on here and…read moreeveryone is so friendly. This location includes a thrift store and it was fun shopping, too. Atmosphere - 5 The sitting area is amongst a library setting with cool art and lots of space. Service - 5 Everyone was so nice and helpful. Cleanliness - 4 - This is a vintage building, so everything is not brand new, but it is extremely organized and well kept. Very comfortable. Parking - 5 There is a lot of parking at no charge Taste - 4 - I had a vanilla latte with oat milk and it was very good. Pastries - 3 The usual offerings you would expect. Variety - 3 I think there is usually more to choose from but they were just getting opened back up from being closed for a week. They had no chocolate but they had a lot of milk choices. Latte art/presentation - 3 - Generic non-branded to go cups, but they also have mugs if you are staying. Cost $6.88

Did I intentionally starve all day just so I could really go to town when I got my food? Yes I did…read more I know it's not fair, food tastes better when you're hungry but I make sure to keep that in mind whenever I'm trying out a new meal. I gathered my small spawn and off to lunch we went. I would have rather gone on my own during the week but this place is just now starting up in this location and weekday hours for the cafe are just not available yet. First thank god they serve canned sodas. No cups needed, no straws, they can be recycled and stay color longer. WIN WIN WIN! Keep it simple. What you are seeing here you lucky dog is the Hippie Bowl, with SALMON, made SPICY!!! Took a few minutes before it arrived and they know how to plate their meals. My eyes definitely feasted beforehand. I almost didn't want to dig in, it was too pretty. Every single layer had more and more color and texture and flavor. Whoever designed this one knows how to balance the perfect meal. It was the right amount of spice too. I'm someone that loves heat, intense heat but this was so perfectly balanced, it did not need anything added to it. I really enjoyed coming here, the people there make you feel welcome and they stop by to check on you. I saw a familiar face which really just makes this place feel cozy and neighborly. My kids enjoyed some chicken nachos that were not on the menu but the staff made sure to make them something they would also enjoy eating. They definitely devoured them. If you are just looking for something new in the area definitely stop here. Every meal purchased helps feed someone in need. Currently I only know they are opened on Saturdays from 12-5. They are closed Sundays. Fantastic spot for lunch.

Favorite record store in DFW! This place has an amazing…read moreselection for such a compact space. The prices are definitely below other shops in the metroplex. The owner is so friendly and helpful. I love the decor and all around great vibe of this shop. I'll be coming back many times.

As someone into vinyl for the past 10 years I'd like to give all shops 5-stars, but this spot…read moredoesn't quite hit for a few reasons. Biggest issue is price, most titles under $30 are about 20-40% more expensive than shops close by (Doc's, Josey, CD Trader) and the common, lower priced stuff can be found at just about every Half Price books for, well, half the price. Collectible record prices are quite high also, often at the top range of Discogs. I've seen the same records in this section for over a year so it looks like I'm not the only one not buying at these prices. Also, if I can get it shipped to my door for the same price, why am I coming here? I've also noticed that condition on used records is not as high as elsewhere, and records noted with "condition" issues here are ones that are questionable to even sell (warped/thrashed records). With so many other stores close by in DFW with more selection and better prices, I don't find this shop to be high on my list, mainly because I just never leave with anything. Really friendly staff though and a surprisingly deep selection given the size. Price and standards have got to be improved here.
