Panang nuah

Absolutely phenomenal food! We got the dumplings and panang nuah, the pictures do not do it justice. So much flavor, and a great portion for the entree. The woman who cooks was very kind and took our orders, and a very sweet young man brought the food out for us. Others note the seating as a downside, but I found it charming sitting out on the patio. It's a small family-run spot, and that's part of what makes it special. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Can't stop thinking about the delicious Fish Banh Mi ... sharing a photo (this is 1/2 of the full order) per @Steff G's request.

Tofu banh mi (with cilantro picked off)

My friend and I got takeout from Little Pig and it was truly delicious! I can't comment much on the ambiance or the service since takeout orders are picked up at a window so you don't even go inside. I will say that everything was ready just about on time (we scheduled for a 5:35 pickup and I got the text that it was ready around 5:45). The woman at the window was very friendly and even threw a couple pieces of candy into our bag. The food was all exceptional. I ordered the tofu banh mi and it was everything I want in a banh mi - crispy bread, crunchy veg, flavorful tofu. There was no spread that I could detect but the tofu had this delicious spicy peanut-y marinade that added a ton of flavor. My friend got the Tom Kha Gai (chicken soup) and GraPow Gai Kai Dow and loved both. I can't wait to go back!

Cool place to sit and eat outside. Delicious food. We hit them at dinner rush so it took a minute but totally worth the wait.

Everything we ate was excellent, service was great, and this is a pick up window only. Few seats outside, but no indoor seating.

This. Is. It. Seriously, do not pass go. No notes. If you want to take a journey into tantalizing…read moretastebud adventures you must make it a point to get here. Super funky vibes. There's records being thrown down, cool lighting, nice decor and even super friendly folks. The employees here are beyond nice and welcoming. Like they know what they are doing here and they are offering you an experience that is fun and funky. We started off with two drinks. One was called a salad of some sort (sorry, blacked out) and it was delicious. The other was just as good. Ordered the eggplant app - do not leave without this. Absolutely amazing. For food, we ordered a rice bowl with pork sausage and a noodle bowl (with lobster and clams). Don't remember the names. Both were absolutely fantastic. The flavor profiles are just incredible. The rice bowl had so many things happening. Just terrific. The noodle bowl has a broth that you would drink daily. There wasn't one thing that could have made these dishes any better. Do not leave without dessert. Read that again!!! Get the honey sundae. This is what dreams are made of. You will question reality. No matter how stuffed you think you are, order this. This place is just full of magic and wizardry. Like seriously.

Good meal, prices definitely on the high side…read more Vibe: really cohesive, cool, themed decor. Large shared table in the middle flanked by bar seating. Service: Great Food: We started off with soft serve and the seasonal earl gray outshined the house honey. The earl gray had a great flavor topped with an excellent syrup while the honey was mild and the chocolate shell didn't add anything, although the 'honeycomb' bits were delic. Crispy eggplant special - good, very small portion Pork katsu sandwich - pretty solid, interesting pickle Pad mee korat - good, small portion Value: Aside from the soft serve, the portions were very small for ~$17 price point, and the food was good but aside from the earl gray soft serve, didn't amaze to the point of paying a higher price point. Overall I did like this meal but portions were small for prices. I hope they keep the earl gray soft serve around!

Great place for an amazing vegetarian meal. We went for a Miso Soup, Thai Ginger Noodles and a Thai…read moreBasil Fried Rice. Miso soup was delicious and hearty - just what you need on a cold day outside. Both, noodles and fried rice were great. Btw their spice levels are catered to North American taste buds, so if you're an Asian just tell them highest spice levels and you'll probably still feel like moderate. Having said that, great flavours. The staff was nice and friendly. I used the restroom and they were clean and well maintained. Definitely recommended.

It is a tragedy that I was only planning to visit Portland for less than a day, so I didn't have the opportunity to dine in at the Green Elephant. However I would contemplate driving up from Boston just to have their Singapore noodles again. It was so flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to the perfect texture. The level 2 spice in the online ordering menu was not spicy at all, but the food still had a good amount of sauce and flavor. The dish was definitely heavy on the noodles and probably only had 4-5 bite-sized pieces of tofu for protein, but the noodles certainly were my favorite part. And for only about $15-20 per main dish, this is one of the more accessible/affordable restaurants for vegan options in Portland!
