When I asked what was in it I was told that the restaurant didn't make the dessert. They got it from a local bakery named 'Butter and Whisk'. The next day my wife and I found the bakery and we are so glad that we did. First ... the store was extremely neat and clean and welcoming. Plus I gained several pounds just by entering and smelling!!! Next ... the owner of the bakery was running the cash register. She explained a bit about the founding of her store and her experience in baking. She was very friendly and warm. She made us feel as though she truly valued our business. Lastly ... the food. Holy Cow! The 'Butter Cake' that we got at the restaurant is what she calls 'Ooey Gooey Cake' I have no idea what is in it, but it is beyond awesome. There are not enough adjectives to describe how good that stuff is. We ended up buying a whole cake. The day that we left for home we returned to 'Butter and Whisk' and bought another cake and a huge chocolate chip cookie (that I just finished eating) and a couple of 'Ooey Gooey Cookies'. I have seen other reviews that said that the cookies were so large that they were raw in the center. That was absolutely NOT the case with the cookies that we bought. They were perfection all the way through. If you are in the area of North Myrtle Beach then do yourself a favor and go to 'Butter and Whisk' and get some of the best baked goods on the planet.
