I finally made it to the store yesterday for a fitting and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Matt took the time to talk and get to know me and my needs. He gave me so many options and explained the pros and cons of each. He was upfront about price points (not cheap) and when/if a more expensive option was better for me. These are not entry level, recreational skates. Know what you are getting into. His prices were exactly what I expected for my needs. I tried on five skates in multiple sizes covering three brands to ensure that I was getting exactly what I needed. He includes heat molding, blade mounting and sharpening with a purchase. He was understanding of my need to think about it and not purchase day of. He wasn't pushy at all. I was able to text him and order the next day after confering with my husband. I will absolutely be back and Matt is now a trusted partner in my skating adventure.

When I called today to have my bike checked out I was told "sure we are not busy, bring it in, we'll look at it and if nothing is really wrong with it there won't be much of a charge, we'll get you in and out". When I brought it in 30 minutes later it was another story. The short dirty looking fellow that came out to "help" me was condescending and said to even look at it all, I'd have to leave it there and it would cost almost 100 dollars after tax. He had a seriously nasty attitude and was trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible. How busy can they be in March? Anyway, I told him that's not what I was told on the phone and he said it was. I told it that it most certainly was not and I left. Huge waste of my time and I'm glad I only brought one bike in. I have four. I planned on having some work done on a couple of them there too. I wanted to see how this went first. If you didn't buy one of their bikes, don't take it there. That's the message I got. Typical attitude for the area.

Its not a great environment and no supervision. Parents must be dumping their kids off and leaving. The older kids are great (18 and up).
