Would highly recommend. Kept me well informed before and during the move. Their pricing was very accurate and almost exact to the quote they gave me. The only difference was that I had more boxes than I estimated, which raised the price slightly - but not very much. If you are accurate with the number of items to move, then their quote is spot-on. All communication during the process was very professional and informative. They arrived on time, and worked diligently during the whole move. They were very professional, and also very friendly. They were very careful with all my items and everything arrived in great condition. Any items that they had to take apart for the move, they put them back together when delivered. As they were bringing items in, they always asked me if where they put it looked okay - they made sure that my furniture was centered, looked good where it was, etc. - very conscientious about making sure that I was pleased with everything. They offered to move it around so I could see how it looked. They were fantastic with making sure that everything looked and fit just right. My movers were Logan, Luke, and Thomas - and they were great! My move had a couple of difficult aspects because I have a very steep driveway, which they could not drive the truck down - so they had to carry everything up that steep driveway, which I know was difficult for them; but they never once complained. I also had items stored under the house in a dark and musty area that had to be carried out up a steep yard, and then up the steep driveway too. Lots of uphill, strenuous moving for them, but they kept a great and cheerful attitude the entire time. Overall - very pleased with the entire process and the price. Moving is so stressful, but if you hire Little Guys Movers, it will definitely help take away some of the stress, because they do such a fantastic job. I've had to move several times, and it was always a very stressful, unpleasant experience. This time, however, because of the professional, efficient, careful job they did, combined with their cheerful great attitudes, it was actually a very pleasant experience. Little Guys Movers made my latest move a stress free, pleasant and memorable. I called and scheduled 2 days prior to my actual move date. They arrived early and ready to work on the day of my move. I had all belongings packed and organized except for the larger pieces. Alex, Chris, and Adam were very friendly and respectable of me and my belongings. They took care of my things as if it were their own. They even disassembled my bed for me. Win Win!! Before I knew it they had my entire 2 bedroom apartment loaded on the truck and in route to my new home. After arriving at my new home, they asked where I wanted the items in general and then went right back to work again. These guys were troopers! It was extremely hot and muggy, they didn't complain or say anything negative the whole time. Then as quickly as everything was loaded, the truck was empty and all my possessions were safely in my new home. I had done a good bit of research before asking them for a quote and was surprised at the very high number of positive reviews on Yelp and other places.I submitted my request on the website late one evening, and received a call before noon the following morning. Follow-up phone calls, confirmation call 2 days before our move, call to let me know they were on the way, EXCELLENT communications buy the entire team.The truck and team arrived when they said they would were very professional throughout. I called Little Guys to get an estimate for moving and Thomas was professional as well as funny. He worked with me to get a fair but good estimate on what I needed moved. Today was moving day after so long searching for a place. Now, let me say that I called on Friday to book for today, so I was spur of the moment and they managed to accommodate me with no issues. This morning 10 minutes early Steve and his partner showed up. Color me surprised because I was not expecting them to be early! From the get-go Steve and partner were great from walking through the house to determine what was going and what was not to getting everything on the truck quickly! Meeting us at the other place and unloading just as quickly as they loaded, I can not say enough good things about these guys! They are fairly priced and they do what they say they will do. We picked Little Guys Movers based solely on the Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed, as this was the best moving experience we could possibly ask for. A team of 3 movers came out with a truck at the quoted time of arrival. They took great care to ensure that nothing was damaged, going as far as to place mats around corners and door frames to avoid dents. They loaded up the truck swiftly with everything looking safe and protected in the truck. When they arrived to the new place, the guys found out there were 3 levels. They did not complain once, as they took all of the things up to wherever they were directed. Derek, Alex, and Zack did all of the back breaking work for us, and they were genuinely thankful for the cold waters we gave them. I've used movers 5 times over the past 15 years, and these were the friendliest, fastest, most careful, and overall most professional movers we have used. First off, this company saved me. I had an iguana cage (about 750 pounds and very fragile) that could not be loaded off the truck due to poor planning on the freight side. I explained the situation and they immediately sent Ben and Josh. Ben and Josh were amazing. The freight driver said it was impossible to move the cage into my house without damage. Ben and Josh refused to believe that. They both worked hard to find a solution and it worked. They actually decided to hand carry the cage rather than risk damage (even though I told them to just damage the bottom of the cage as the job seemed impossible without using a dolly, they said there was no way they could harm property knowingly). They truly cared about performing the job perfectly and clearly loved and believed in the company. This was the best experience. I will always use Little Guys Movers. I recently moved to a new apartment in Lexington. I was not going to be able to move everything on my own so I called Little Guys Movers. I was very impressed with their service from day one. When I called, they gave me a free estimate over the phone. The price was great and after the move, I ended up paying a few dollars less than the original estimate. I was told the move would take around 5 hours but it was done quicker. Thomas, Nick, and Joe were my movers and they were quick, efficient, and extremely friendly! Everything was packed, transported, and unloaded carefully and with no damage to my furniture or the apartments. I was in rather desperate straits with my daughter in Lexington and me in Raleigh and no one to help her move a small amount of her furniture as well as some antiques we had given her for her new house. I called and spoke to Josh after viewing their website. He quoted me $120 for the first hour and $95 for each additional hour, billed in quarter hour increments. I had my daughter call him to set it up and asked that they call me to arrange payment. Honestly I expected to be ripped off in some way. This morning my daughter called and said they were there (30 minutes earlier than they expected-great in my book!) and 45 minutes later one of their well-spoken crew called to say the job was done. The charge? $120. These guys are top notch. On time. Job done. Price less than I expected. Make sure you tip them, it's worth taking care of people you trust. I used Little Guys Movers for my move on February 8th. I scheduled it the week before. I felt very comfortable paying by the piece moved instead of by the hour, and as they stated it ended up being about the same as it would've been by the hour. They called me about 30 minutes before they showed up to let me know they were on the way. My movers were Cody and Anthony. I expressed my concern for the box containing my china, and they assured me they would take very good care of it, which they did! I was very surprised how quickly everything went, especially considering the number of stairs they had to deal with. They completely disconnected and reconnected my washer and dryer. They didn't hit the walls on either side of the move. I could not have been more pleased with the whole process. I will definitely use them whenever I move again!! read more

Excellent moving company!! The team was professional, prompt, courteous, expedient, careful and kind. We had an abundance of personally cherished artwork painted by my late mother and a baby grand that had to be carefully packed and shipped with our belongings across the country and another separate load to store in town, so there was an added level of complexity to our move. Christian and Dustin were amazing! They were on time even though I was not and were outstanding. Prompt, courteous, careful, professional, and funny. Best part of all, they were masters at unloading a 15 foot truck and a 12 foot trailer into a 10 x 15 storage unit. I guessed they must have had engineering degrees to pull off such a feat! The contact with Little Guys Movers before meeting Christian and Dustin was outstanding as well. This was our third commercial move and was by far the best one. The first day Anthony and Braxton came to pack the kitchen. I really appreciated they do this the day before the move, which helps prevent any unexpected hiccups. The next day Ty, Anthony, Logan, Damarian, Braxton and Jovias came to do the move. Our house is not small and there were a lot of 'difficult' items. The guys started at 8 and by 1pm we were all packed up and took lunch. Afternoon unloading it was very hot, and everyone was wearing masks, but not once did anyone complain. The guys were fun, courteous, careful and determined. By 5pm the whole move was done and the price was much lower than I expected. I will definitely be hiring little guys when we move again. Excellent experience! read more

Contracting with these "Little Guys" is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my entire life. I had three movers, Ethan, Justin, and a "new guy" (can't remember the name.) The team leader barely talked to me and one of them wreaked of marijuana. Both of them made the new guy do most of the heavy lifting. He came in and out of the house more often than the other two. I think that is pretty disrespectful, so I made sure to give the new guy a bit more of a tip for working so hard. One of their "door protectors" scratched the entire side of my door jam. I was quoted a price lower than what it ended up being. Management was poor. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I hope people read this and steer clear from Little Guys Movers! They were very friendly, made sure that they took care of my items, but also put down the appropriate padding to protect the apartment. They were more than willing to help me with a few extra items, and were very upfront about the pricing. They were very expedient with my move, and actually made it to my new place before I was. They were both very easy to work with and very personable as well as professional. My move went very smoothly and everything was put were I wanted and reassembled perfectly. Christian and his helper...I'm sorry I can't remember his name....were totally great, very polite, very professional, very fast, and just a couple of super dudes. I would happily use them any time we might need moving services. The price paid was very fair, and right on par with other movers I checked in town, including the one named after UK's mascot. They unloaded a fully loaded to the max 20' truck, placing boxes and furniture in the appropriate rooms of a 3 bedroom house and crawl space, in 2 hours 15 minutes.
