Usually have the best food and order is so full, you could share. This time was not good at all. Ordered a small Greek salad to split with my husband, and as you can see from the picture, there was barely a small scoop of potato salad. It was just plopped on the side. There was literally one slice of cucumber, one slice of tomato, one pepper, and one Kalamata olive and I had a hard time finding any feta cheese. This used to be my favorite "fast" gyro pita (i.e. not from a sit-down restaurant), but it has gone down hill. Unfortunately, my last two visits have been a real let-down. Their pita bread used to be warm, soft, and buttery. Both visits, our pitas weren't soft or heated through...they were *almost* stale. The gyro meat used to be moist and tender, but now it was dry...still flavorful, but nowhere near as good as it used to be. There is a lot of new competition in the area for fast casual Greek, so I hope they work out their issues. In the meantime, I'm on the hunt for a new fave gyro pita. read more

I usually go to the Little Greek location in East Lake, but was visiting my mom in Trinity so I decided to go to that location. That being said, the difference in quality between the two is DRASTIC. The staff were two extremely incompetent 19 year old's, the one on the cash register literally didn't even count the money she just put it in the register (the order was $50). The other one cooking was touching food with his bare hands. The sandwiches appeared to have been dropped from a considerable distance or something, food everywhere in the box. Each box had a small handful of literal barely cooked fries, they were almost raw. Multiple items were forgotten in the order as well. I still gave a 20% tip because I'm not a scumbag but good GOD it was so bad. Go to the one in East Lake. The line there is out the door for a reason, they've been holding it down there for over 10 years, and the food is made like the person making it would eat it themselves. A good line of 5-6 solid experienced cooks who make excellent food, every time for the 10 years I've been going there. The Trinity location needs new management dear God it's depressing, the store itself also had like no decor and the sign outside was totally off/broken. Been here a few times and it's decent enough to grab again. The chicken souvlaki was dry (the chicken is over cooked all the time) even if you ask them to not over cook it. (One of my skewers was literally half brown while the other looked like grilled chicken) it's inconsistent that's why bothers me. The time before the tzatziki sauce, pita rice and gyro meat were on point! This time again the chicken is dry and just bland. It's nice inside very clean taken care of I like that a lot! When my Aunt suggested Little Greek for dinner on our recent visit to Trinity, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Both she and my Uncle raved about the food, especially the Greek salad. I didn't realize until we walked in that Little Greek is a chain. It reminded me very much of a chain restaurant we have in Jacksonville (that apparently has not yet made it this far south), Zoe's Kitchen. The setup is clean, simple, and no frills (in a good way). They have a pretty big menu but my mom and I both ordered the smaller portion of the chicken kabobs (served over rice and with a Greek salad). My aunt and uncle each got the same meal but with lamb. Right before our food came out, they brought out (warm) pita bread with tzatziki sauce for each of us. It was really tasty. The meals were a lot of food but really great. The meat was tender and the rice was seasoned nicely but I think my favorite part was the Greek salad. It had a big slice of beet and a dollop of potato salad right on top and was really tasty. The girls working the counter were super friendly, too. We got some desserts to take home since we had an early dinner. I got the tiramisu and everyone else got chocolate mousse cake. The tiramisu was good, not the best I've had but good. The serving size was nice, not a crazy amount for one person. I normally don't give average review but let start with the positive. Food is pretty good, chicken and gyro pita were good. Salad was good except the potato salad that tasted store bought and received 1/2 scoop not normal full scoop. And the negative was the lemon chicken soup that had zero taste of lemon and tasted abnormally thick soup sitting for days. Overall it was just below average. Little Greek is a chain of fast-food Greek restaurants. As such, it's pretty much what that would lead you to expect; basic Greek good, neither bad nor outstanding. My one beef with Little Greek is their chicken-lemon soup. While it tastes fine, the consistency is decidedly goopy and hence makes you think twice about your desire to eat it. In general, it's a competent place for a quick Greek meal, but don't expect it to compete with more authentic Greek restaurants any more than you would expect Taco Bell to compete with a Mexican joint or Sbarro to compete with an Italian Ristorante. read more
