we eat here once in a while when we get the craving for Greek city Café fed a french fries, which are absolutely out of this world. Their prices are pretty high, but you do get quite a bit of food. The atmosphere is moderate to sometimes on how many people are in there and there's usually that by. They serve good food. The people are nice and you have the ability refills to your whenever you want and the refills are free. Which I think kind of price of the food. You walk in the door and someone is always at the desk greeting you and you order and they give you a and you go and sit down. bring your order out to you, but if you need a refill, then you have to and get it yourself, which is fine with me. Their food is always good. I love their gyros and feta Best of absolutely. if you've not yet tried Greek city Café I would give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

My homebound friend requested food from this restaurant when I visited her last month. When I visit her this month, I'll happily return! I ordered inside as I wasn't sure about the online ordering. The woman who took my order was friendly and helpful. My friend knew what she wanted. I did not. I got her a salad, and I decided to try one too. So delicious! And prices are reasonable! While I waited, I noticed how clean and comfortable this business is. If I had to stay and eat, I'd be happy. read more

Stopped by for lunch today, just before 3 pm on a Saturday. We beat the rush. By the time we finished eating, the restaurant was almost full to capacity. Whew. My son had been before - he always gets the gyro and highly recommended the feta fries (I mean, seriously, what's not to love about that combo?). I opted for a California chicken bowl on rice. Everything was delicious, and I will not hesitate to go back again (and again). You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. Less than $30 for two satiating lunches! Yes, please. We have gotten a few things there before with good results. Yesterday 7-2 we got a Gyro, Greek Nachos which had like 5 pieces - small ones of chicken then our grandson got a Feta Butger most discusting thing he said he ever had. It was a supper dried out piece of c.. ap. I felt so bad because he didn't say anything till I saw him throwing it out. Don't serve a burger if it's not a burger. Please do not order it. Gordon Ramsey would have had a field day with that hockey puck. read more

Been here numerous times and it's always delish. I get the combo pita with chicken and lamb along with a side of fries. We usually do group orders and everyone's meal is just as good! The meat is fresh along with all the yummy sides & sauce they load on. The tzatziki sauce is super good along with their baklava! This gem in a local neighborhood is one of the go to places for Greek food. It is authentic, an amazing, and you can't go wrong. I wish I had pictures for you, but we had to scarf it up because we were so hungry. I had the lentils and feta fries and let me tell you, the lentils were perfectly seasoned and you will love them. The service is fast and they take your order at the counter, give you a number for your table and then bring your food out when it's ready. The service is extra friendly and it's always a pleasure to go in this place. The restaurant has a diner, like feel to it, but it's pleasant and clean. We actually ate here the night we saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, because everything was so good, we were in the mood to see this wonderful movie. We ordered the food to go, and we were not impressed. The first thing they did was keep opening and closing the containers and putting the condiments in where are the places put them in a bag they were using their hands without gloves on the food was not up to snuff, and we like the Gyro better at Wendy's I did not appreciate that they asked for tips when you're getting the food to go. I don't think that that is proper. I think it's the owner's responsibility to pay their employees I mean, we take the food home. We have to take it out of the bags. We have to serve it to ourselves and we have to clean it up so what are we tipping for the salad was not really a Greek salad and there was hardly any potato salad in it. Our first visit .. looking for something different but quick .. loved the feta fries - French fries with melted and shredded feta - yummy I had the chicken rice bowl with salad instead of brown rice- the ingredients were plentiful and the chicken tasty - it was just a little heavy on the dressing - so you may want to order on the side. The traditional Greek salad with gyro in the side was delicious- chock full of tasty ingredients! You won't go away hungry. You order at the counter and it's delivered to your table, would love to had real silverware for dine in. Very clean - tidy and employees friend and knowledgeable. Husband and I love Greek food and decided to take a drive and try out Greek City Cafe in Spring Hill. This small restaurant has some big shoes to fill, next door to them is Cody's Roadhouse restaurant which is very popular, it's is good because we have eaten there but that's another review to be written! This review is all about Greek food and I must say delicious it is!! Got there about 6:00 and it was busy. Like I said it is a smaller place but has a lot of seating, booths along one side and tables down the center and at the back. Walked in and was cheerfully greeted by the employees and also said thank you on our way out, I like that, they have been taught well. The menu, which is a large one I must say is to your left, it is so easy to navigate through and help you make your decision. Pitas, both chicken and Gyro meat to choose from, soup, salad bowls, Greek pizza, fries, plain and their popular Greek fries withTadziki sauce and feta cheese, addictive they are, spinach pie, etc. Also have sweets for the sweet tooth. A beverage dispenser with Ice and a variety of drink choices, refills free, yay!! We both ordered Gyro pitas which come with complimentary homemade potato chips and split plain fries. They give you a number to put at your table you choose and deliver your food to you. Food came to our table in a timely fashion by a sweet young man who would later come back to check on us. That gyro pita sandwich was huge and filled with meat, lettuce, tomato,onion and in the center was Tadziki sauce and feta cheese! Gotta give it an A+, one of the best gyro's I have eaten, bar none!! Fries were hot out of the fry basket. We were more than pleased, great meal and we were stuffed. The prices were reasonable considering the portions they give you. There was a steady flow of carry out orders while we were there. You must try this place, you are missing out, big time. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to return for another Gyro, YUM. Stopped by here for a quick bite to-go whilst heading on the road, and I was happy I saw this spot. My sister-in-law and I walked in to place the orders and the food came out shortly. I ordered the falafel wrap, making sure it was made vegan. The guy at the counter had to confirm, and offered the raspberry vinaigrette dressing as an alternative for the tzaziki; good choice! The wrap came with these fantastic house made potato chips, which are my favorite! I ate half of my wrap and some chips and had to save the rest of it for dinner. This was our first time to this location. We have been to the Cortez location many times! The staff was very welcoming and decor is similar in both locations. Menus are exactly the same however I still decided to try something new. I got the California Chicken Rice Bowl and it was delicious. It might be my new go to meal! The only difference I saw at this location is a little more dessert options! Both locations are great, we are already return customer to Greek City and will continue to be! read more

Pretty good Greek food in a casual setting. I liked the gyros and falafel. Greek salad is Tampa Bay style with potato salad on the bottom, so let them know if you don't want it. I was disappointed by the spanikopita (spinach pies) as the filling did not have enough cheese for my taste ( very heavy on the spinach though, if that is your preference). The size is generous. The lemon rice soup isn't the best I've had, but it's still pretty good. Don't expect Tarpon Springs authenticity, but not bad. read more

Great food and service. Don't let the order at the counter put you off, this is the real deal - not fast food at all. We've eaten at 4 different Greek restaurants in the area, including the famous one in Tarpon Springs and this was the best by far. Reasonably priced, quick service... can't beat it. Very delicious!! The prices are good as well for the larger than average portions. We got 2 pita gyros and a chicken rice bowl for the little one. She couldn't finish her bowl so we got to take it home for another meal. The building has been well kept and was very clean until my baby got there! Ordered a salad and didn't have what ordered. In hard lentils beans and rice in bottom. It was soggy. They forgot the shrimp as at side order. Then it took too long to get it to me. Established in 2006.

In 1975, John Pappas came to the United States from his hometown of Tragano, Greece with only a couple of dollars in his pocket. While working in restaurants to make ends meet, he slowly discovered a passion for cooking. Using family recipes handed down from generation to generation, his Mediterranean cuisine quickly became popular. I'm very happy and if I could give them 10 stars, I would, this is a very highly recommended little restaurant and you have to try it. It is that phenomenal. They cook even came out and asked me if my PETA bread had been toasted to my happiness, and I was surprised with that as well. They care about their food and they care about the authenticity of their food. I can't wait to go back again, and I will be bringing other people with me as well. There is a handicapped parking spot plenty of room for handicap wheelchairs or whatever on the back patio you can get into the store if you're handicapped as well. I didn't go into the restroom so I don't know if it had a handicap stall. I would say this place is great for all kinds of people whether it's kids or adults or small parties. But if you're gonna have a large party, consider them for food.

I have been to many restaurants in my time, and I must say I should have passed this place up. I could have stopped at 20 other places within 1 mile of this place. My fiancé and I was in the mood for a greek salad, So I made a u turn and went to this place. I walk in and order a greek salad $8, side $2 and a drink $2. Ok , I know if a salad costs $8 it can be split( ive done that before) if its $5 I get 2 ....fair.... The preteen that took my order (looks like she just got of the fat albert show) "she must be racist"didn't say 2 words, "other than are you splitting the salad" the other girl appeared to be worthless. Our family are huge fans of Greek food... we used to have to plan day trips just to go to Tarpon Springs for a good Gyro... But ever since GCC came to Spring Hill - we can eat there anytime we want! We arrived around 5:20 and…read morestill waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, which probably speaks to both the restaurant's popularity and its biggest drawback: the dining room is simply too small for the amount of business they do. We both ordered the Veal alla Siciliana, with veal, eggplant, and ham. The dish was well prepared, and the kitchen did a nice job getting everything out promptly. The sauce was good, although I've had comparable or better Italian food at Argento's, and I personally prefer a thicker, richer sauce. Overall, though, the entrée was enjoyable and reasonably priced for what you receive. The extra charges were harder to understand. My fiancée had the house salad with blue cheese, while I ordered a Caesar and was charged extra for the Caesar itself and again for anchovies. By the time the upcharges were added, the salad was around $8. We also paid extra to substitute angel hair pasta. Considering angel hair is hardly a premium pasta compared with spaghetti, penne, or fettuccine, that seems unnecessary. These relatively small charges add up and detract from what otherwise feels like a fair-value restaurant. The fresh-baked rolls were very good--light and fluffy and particularly enjoyable with the seasoned olive oil. I had a Pepsi, although unfortunately it was somewhat flat. The highlight of the evening was the service. Anna was outstanding: friendly, attentive, efficient, and helpful, including boxing our leftovers. Our tip reflected how pleased we were with her service. The atmosphere is where La Bella Napoli struggles most. Tables are packed closely together, the chairs aren't especially comfortable, and the restaurant can get extremely noisy. Tonight included a crying baby, and with such a small room there really isn't anywhere for the sound to go. If you enjoy a lively, crowded family restaurant, that may not bother you. If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed Italian dinner, this probably isn't the atmosphere you're looking for. Our total for two, including tip, was roughly $80-$85. I also noticed the suggested tip percentages on the bill now extend as high as 30%. That's certainly becoming a trend, but 30% as a suggested gratuity feels excessive. There are plenty of positives. The restaurant appeared clean, the staff was consistently friendly, the menu offers a tremendous amount of variety, and the kitchen handled a busy dining room efficiently. It's also good to see a local, family-style establishment doing a strong business, including what appeared to be considerable takeout traffic. Overall, La Bella Napoli serves reasonably good Italian food, with a diverse menu at a fair basic price, with excellent service, but the numerous upcharges and especially the cramped, noisy dining room take away from the experience. Perhaps their success has simply outgrown the space. A larger dining room with more comfortable spacing would make a substantial difference and double their business. Overall: Good quality food, excellent service, fair value--but crowded, noisy, and a few too many little upcharges.
