Not only can kids visit this little library, but their older sisters, brothers, and parents can too. This little library is separated into two parts, the bottom shelf being kids books and the top being novels and longer reads intended for an older crowd. For those who don't know how the little free library works, it's basically kind of like a big bird house. Except instead of housing birds, it houses about two or so rows of books. The rule is: you take a book? You should leave a book. Judging by how stocked this library is, it seems that the neighborhood definitely does its part of being fair and following that rule which is awesome! Someone has donated a few awesome books to this Little Free Library. Yes! This community has taste…read more Steinbeck, Charlotte Bronte, and even an autobiography by Anna Kendrick! I appreciate the fluidity in titles at these community book boxes. You never know what you'll get. A mishmash potpourri of magical words bound in a thin cover. As if anything so flimsy as paper could contain the power of the ideas transposed on them. A community with these book boxes and a live of literature is the place I want to live in. Viva la bibliothèque! Viva le mot!

It boasted a super cute painting on the outside and a fairly good assortment of genres, though we didn't find anything that peaked out fancy. We were used to how most of the LFL's we visited, you would see the front part, with the characteristic clear, glass window that you can see the books through. From the street however, it just looks like a pale, yellow box. The words Little Free Library are cutely written, but when you're driving, the writing is easy to miss. None the less, this LFL was wonderful. It had a little notebook and pen inside for visitors to sign or write notes. Judging by the sweet notes left and very scribbly handwriting, I could see that many kids enjoyed this notebook and little library!

It boasted several quotes on its doors and 'book holiday ornaments' made from book pages within it. It even had a string of led lights on it's roof! I liked their early 30's - 40's assortment, heavy on children's, parenting, and marriage books and the space seemed really well taken care of - nice to find after another nearby listed LFL was gone when we dropped by. This one was perhaps the honey's favorite because of the style and being down the street from a Starbucks he frequents. I added a few volumes (we had a big bag to donate today) but beyond nabbing a couple quilt books this locale mostly had military fiction so the honey didn't find anything he liked. Personally I really loved that this locale had a solid closing mechanism to the door, far too many LFL's sometimes have issues with the wind and weather because they don't lock. I love Little Free Libraries and this one is crazy close to downtown WG - so I'll probably be visiting it often! Yay Little Free Library!

A lot of work went into the Library, It had an absolutely adorable knob (pink with bubbles and sparklies) and either side boasted tiny windows with silhouettes, flowers, and a balcony. Behind the Library was a wishing tree and opposite it was the most adorable reading bench. This location was also stuffed with books in all genres, but was definitely for older 20+ crowd. We'll definitely be returning to this location! With all the cute additions, it's my favourite so far!

I love how it's perched on a fence and even has its own little white fence w/ a woman & cat silhouette in the window. There were only a couple children's books at this location while the majority were books for an older crowd. A bench is conveniently there if you want to sit and read as well! The thing that caught my attention the most is that they have a good juju tree. Basically having good juju is kind of like having good vibes or good karma. You take a cloth, think about your wish or positive thought while tying it to the tree. As my sister and I stood there staring at the beautiful colors, wishing we could do it, our eyes caught sight of the basket pinned to the bottom of the tree. There are pieces of cloth provided!! So we went ahead and made our wishes and tied our pieces of cloth. Thank you to the people of this little free library for such a great library, bench, and good juju tree!
