Another useful branch of the Little Free Library system, this cute red box is located in front of the Learn to Read of St Johns County, not far from US-1.
The box is fire engine red with a white roof on a wood post. There is a single door with a small plexiglass window secured by a latch. Inside, mostly hard covers today including a copy of Tom Clancy's Executive Orders. I was tempted but I've already enjoyed that one and none of the others took my fancy.
The steward of charter 34818 is Carolyn Mudgette. The online caption for this library is "St Augustine Sunrise Rotary has long partnered with Learn to Read of St Johns County, Inc. at our annual fundraiser, The Rhythm & Ribs Festival. This year one of the projects we decided to take on was the installation of ten Little Free Libraries. We partnered with the Architectural and Building Career Academy at Pedro Menendez High School to build the libraries. It is only fitting that our first installation is at the Learn to Read office which is in an area of need."
