I would have gladly accepted half of the money back as they originally indicated or at least a credit to hold the place for a future event, but these people never even had the decency to respond. Terrible!!! Absolutely no integrity!... And would you believe one of them-Didi told me 2 of their immediate family work for the police department!!! When I arrived and filled out a ridiculous form putting down a bunch of information including character witnesses I was told that I couldn't rent by the amount I was told over the phone but monthly only. After what seemed like a long time I finally got the air conditioner and wheeled it to my car. Upon getting home I plugged it up and it tripped my breaker. Long story short I couldn't even use it and had to return it for a full refund thankfully. They've called me in the past wondering if wanted to rent anymore stuff from them. No! This is not a heavily reviewed category on Yelp so I briefly read the reviews and picked Chao. Easy to find on 3rd St at the beach. It's in the same plaza as Metro Diner but at the other end. We popped in on a Saturday and were promptly greeted and attended to. We were able to look around a bit but also received some suggestions on what the staff thought would look nice which is always appreciated. We had it narrowed down to a few options and then talked amongst ourselves to make the final selection. The nice young lady entered the order into the computer and the manager or owner stepped in and told her to apply a discount which was super cool. They told us our order would be ready in a couple of weeks and sure enough they called on time to inform us it was ready. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, super selection of frames to choose from and the quality of the work was terrific!
