Located in a lovely neighborhood with not much traffic, there are many pretty houses to gaze at during the drive :) Although smaller compared to it's sister branches, the really helpful staff have done their best to keep it organized. Very clean, well-maintained and books always kept in order, this has become my go-to library for quick checkouts, although I live much closer to the Alpharetta location. (Alpharetta library can get understaffed that's why :) ) Parking lot is huge with plenty of benches and wheelchair accessible spots. You gotta take a picture with the horsey if you're visiting this library!

Parking for Roswell City Hall was plentiful. The city hall building is beautiful, both inside and outside. It's so picturesque that it's been used in multiple shows and films, according to one of the security staff members whom I spoke with while going through their security procedures at the entrance to the building. We went upstairs so that R could pay his fine. The payment counter had clear plexiglas separating the clerks from the customers, and communication was loud, since the clerks and customers used microphones and loudspeakers to communicate. Yes, all communications could easily be heard. The clear was professional, courteous and efficient, and we were there for about three minutes. Great experience!

Over the past several visits, I have noticed that the multiple computers are either out of service or functioning intermittently, and the printers frequently experience errors or downtown, and the computer monitor, mouse and keyboards are covered with food, hair, dirt, crumbs, and other unclean things, which makes it difficult for patrons to complete essential tasks such as sanitation, printing important documents, conducting research or applying for jobs. Please keep the public library clean, and the maintained. This is very concerning.

Today's selection was a little lean - only four books today - cookbooks and a young adult mystery. I would have added to it but we're at the tail end of my trip and I've already redistributed the books from my own library I am shrinking. This is charter number 44452 and it is titled "Mary Kelly" with the steward's email address in the listing. The online caption reads, "This is the second LFL in Roswell in memory of my daughter, Heather, who died from meningitis in 2014. The other one is on Roswell Town Square." If you follow according to that address it will take you into a neighborhood where it dead ends. 1 Mill St. Roswell, GA 30075 is a better address to plug into your GPS. According to Little Free Library.org's website library was built by parents Jim and Nancy in honor of their daughter Heather who since has passed away. The library structure is a replica of the Roswell Mill and at one time it had the wheel in the back that turned. But that has long been lost or broke off...not sure which....When I visited the library it was jammed pack with books and there was actually a line of people waiting to either donate or take a book...so good to see that....it's a great addition to our humble neighborhood. Overall the layout makes sense and it's easier for me to bring the kids here than pay full price at B&N down the street and the experience is pretty comparable. I also like that you can call them and ask that they hold a book for you- great for Moms running low on time who need to get a book for their kids school project or required reading (speaking from experience here). The only con I will mention is what others have mentioned as well. Don't come here with books to sell assuming you'll get a lot of money for them. Come here with the books you were going to donate anyways. I do wish they had a better trade in program.

Fulton County's North Service Center is where I came when I changed my car's North Carolina tag to…read morea Georgia tag. I had to turn in my NC tag here for my GA tag. My experience was good. I visited during my lunch break and was in and out in a matter of minutes. I had already filled out most of the necessary paperwork before I arrived. Vehicle registrations and tag issues are handled through the county's tax commissioner's office, motor vehicle division. When I showed up around lunchtime, there was hardly a wait. The lady who assisted me was polite and efficient. She had a stack of shiny, brand new GA tags at her desk, ready to hand out. I put mine on in the parking lot before I left. Remember to bring a screwdriver with you. My visit here was much more pleasant than my visits to Fulton County's main office on Pryor Street in downtown Atlanta. If it's not out of your way to come to this location and they offer the service(s) you are seeking, then I suggest coming here instead. It's just a nicer experience. Plus, the area is less trafficky and there's free parking unlike in downtown.

Yay Georgia Tags are in hand!…read more I had postponed this errand until my out of state tags expired (which is illegal as it was required within 30 days of our move) I did pay a nominal fine for my lateness. In my defense we moved to Georgia amidst the pandemic in March and all the tag agencies were closed. While I had come here from down town on a lunch outing, which took about an hour longer than expected, the socially distanced line was 2 mins. The only hiccup was that I needed to call my insurance agent on the phone to have my Georgia State insurance which I had done months ago show up electronically on their agency network which also took less than 5 minutes to resolve. All told I was happy with the quick service and it looked like everything was being done to process people securely.
