The new building is jointly owned by the library system and Cobb County P.A.R.K.S. and in addition to being a nice new library has a black box theater, open air amphitheater, art gallery and classrooms, individual and group study rooms, and conference rooms. While the physical collection of books at this branch doesn't seem to match the size of the building (you're better off going to the Switzer library if you want to browse a vast selection) the addition of these extra rooms makes this library one of a kind in Cobb County. It's new, well made, looks great, and is sure to be a great local place for the community.

I've been doing some market research on how to start a business and the library is a one stop shop for all of my needs. The building is bright, airy, and spotless--with large windows that let in lots of natural light and plenty of comfy seating around . There's a great children's section with learning toys, a clean and welcoming teen/young adult room, plus a dedicated makerspace and a fully stocked computer training lab. I even brought my daughter and granddaughter here and they actually learned a lot and had fun. Plenty of study rooms--perfect for group work or meeting quietly--are available, and the outdoor plaza is a great spot for programs or just chilling with a book. Free Wi‑Fi, public computers, printing, scanning, and copier services make it super convenient whether you're a student, a freelancer, or just wanting to browse. What really stands out is the staff--they're welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Shot out to Sarah, Alice, Alecia and the entire team over there. Grab a new bestseller on hold and it'll magically arrive in a few days. Browse digital reading, audio, videos to have them delivered to your device. The Cobbcat and Overdrive connections make it convenient to pick up that that hard-copy or instant digital download. And while all this futuristic stuff is nice, you'll still be able to stop in and ask a question of the real librarian staff in person. The children's section is separated and what noise there is from little children is muted and kind of cute. Agree with all the positives in other reviews, but also unfortunately agree with Haley. This is easily the noisiest library I've ever been in dating back to grade school. Most of the staff operate exactly as you'd expect in a library, but a couple are quite loud, which invites some patrons to be loud in their interactions with those staff members. Earphones won't do the job. You need noise cancelling headphones. There is a large staff area/back room, and I'd love to see them move the desk for passport calls into that room, or into the dedicated passport meeting room itself.

This is charter number 44452 and it is titled "Mary Kelly" with the steward's email address in the listing. The online caption reads, "This is the second LFL in Roswell in memory of my daughter, Heather, who died from meningitis in 2014. The other one is on Roswell Town Square." According to Little Free Library.org's website library was built by parents Jim and Nancy in honor of their daughter Heather who since has passed away. The library structure is a replica of the Roswell Mill and at one time it had the wheel in the back that turned. But that has long been lost or broke off...not sure which....When I visited the library it was jammed pack with books and there was actually a line of people waiting to either donate or take a book...so good to see that....it's a great addition to our humble neighborhood.
