Visited Geeta out of recommendation from YELP and a mutual friend on Facebook. I have been dealing with horrible migraines and excessive sweating. After one treatment, I noticed almost instant reduction of pain and temperature. She was very gentle and the room was totally relaxing and clean. Geeta asked very specific questions, in addition to the questionnaire that you have to fill out before you arrive, to try to get to the root of my ailments. She offered explanations and suggestions and not in a "here is what you have to do to/take it or leave it" kind of way. She was very calming from start to finish. I've always been a believer of eastern medicine and I felt some relief after the first visit. I am looking forward to future treatments to regain balance and being pain free in my life. read more

I have enjoyed the treatments and benefits of acupuncture for three decades now, with excellent practitioners. When I visit Washington D.C., I see Emily at Little Dragon Wellness, and I consider her to be perhaps the most knowledgeable acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine provider I've been fortunate to receive her support. Her depth of knowledge, experience, medical insights, and the results she achieves, makes her, in my opinion, one of the best we are lucky to have practicing her healthful Art. I have to deal with an extremely stressful public presentation during Veterans' holidays, and the physiological and psychological relief I receive is extraordinary. I am very grateful for Emily's Artwork. read more

joshua is an incredibly talented acupuncturist. he's knowledgable about acupuncture therapy and holistic remedies. he listens and offers suggestions outside of acupuncture for resolving your particular issues. for example, for me he suggested specific teas, fruit & vegetables, and herbs/flowers to help with my vision and g.i. issues. he has a wonderful bedside manner and he's clearly passionate about his work...a great combination! his needling is gentle with a careful touch. i enjoyed our work together. thanks so much joshua! read more

I have been struggling with chronic pain for a while now that got worse as I got pregnant. I feel so lucky to have found Geeta (through a recommendation from a doctor I am currently seeing). This is my first experience with acupuncture and she has truly helped me feel so much better, less pain, more relaxed and is always so kind and accommodating to my changing needs (as the pregnancy progresses). She always seems to know the perfect points to treat! Her empathy and genuine care come through very clearly and I certainly hope to continue seeing her as long as possible. More than highly recommend Little Dragon Wellness and Geeta! read more

Geeta is a godsend. I came to her after trying every other therapy under the sun to treat what had become often-debilitating endometriosis symptoms. Today, I feel better than I ever have. Geeta is warm and deeply caring--and truly brilliant at what she does. I came to Geeta after countless years of traditional Western medicine, several naturopaths, massage therapy, womb steams, community acupuncture, hormone treatment--you name it--all to no avail. After two sessions with Geeta and a tailored regimen of Chinese herbs, my symptoms had notably dissipated. Since then, I've been receiving regular treatments and have continued to improve to the point that--for the first time in my ever--I'm facing the possibility a life where I'm not in violent, debilitating pain every month. The freedom from that is truly overwhelming and I could not be more grateful. When I describe Geeta's practice to friends and colleagues, I often say, "this is what healthcare is supposed to feel like." At our first few visits, when she asked me how I was doing, I gave her the brief, clinical answers I was used to sharing with other healthcare providers. And then--with some gentle urging from Geeta--I learned that she genuinely wanted to know how I was *really* doing. What is on my heart and what's happening in my life, in addition to what's happening in my body. Because of course, it's all related. It all matters and has an impact on my health--and I feel blessed to have found such a truly gifted, gracious, holistic, and wise healthcare provider. I could no recommend Geeta's practice more highly. I wish every person could have access to care like this. read more

Geeta is an amazing practitioner! I started visiting her recently because I was having difficulty sleeping and suffered from chronic sinus congestion. She really takes time to understand the complete picture of her patients and I feel like she truly cares about my overall wellness. In just a few treatments from her, I can already tell a HUGE difference in my quality of sleep and ability to breath! She is also providing me with my very own, personalized herbal formula. I've tried both the powder (to make tea) and the capsules, which are easy to take with me when I travel for work. I'd much rather take something natural that actually works versus all the junk you can buy at the store. I've been to two other acupuncturists and I can say that Geeta is by far the best and most compassionate. She is extremely knowledgeable and committed to her practice. If you have any health issues or just looking to improve your wellness, Little Dragon is the place to go! read more

Geeta saved me from myself! In a high stress period of life, prior to the pandemic, Geeta helped me ease my anxiety with acupuncture, holistic diet tweaks, and Chinese medicine treatments. During the pandemic, I knew the self care steps I needed to take to stay well, and through an online cleanse/detox with Geeta, I was able to reset my gut and incorporate more plant based recipes in my life. I love Geeta so much, I even referred my mom to her! read more

Geeta Dsouza is a wonderful healer, beautiful person, and an absolute calming force that I am happy to have in my weekly life. Her professionalism is profound. The environment she maintains is the cleanest most well kept office that I have ever attended. Like many, I have a very busy schedule, but the time I carve out for treatment has greatly enhanced my calmness and peace of mind that I need in my life. Geeta Dsouza has helped me tremendously by lowering my stress levels and has had large impacts on both fertility and pain management. Geeta Dsouza is the best experience you can have due to her application/adaptation of Chinese acupuncture using vast knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology, and the principles of evidence based medicine. read more

Geeta is an amazing, perceptive, insightful caregiver, and has helped me find peace and wellness in a world full of ills, within and without. It's been an unmitigated blessing to find her. read more

Geeta Dsouza is a phenomenal practitioner. She is rigorous, intelligent, and committed to attaining results for her patients. It's difficult to find competent practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine as the level of training varies widely thanks to the fairly recent advent of education and professional licensure in the United States. Geeta is elevating the profession of Chinese medicine in the West on the whole which she accomplishes by being indispensably useful to her patients. Thanks Geeta. read more

I'm new to acupuncture so had reservations, but Geeta made a believer of me! Geeta provides amazing treatments. I had never gotten acupuncture before, but Geeta made me feel very comfortable at my first appointment and took the time (about an hour!) to understand my medical complaints. She has a very sweet manner and is careful and gentle. Her office is very calming, and I always leave feeling so much better. She used acupuncture and a heat lamp on my knee and made it tons better in just 2 visits. Also, she gives discounts for teachers and other people who do good-for-the-world jobs. She gave me lots of recommendations for herbal/natural treatments and made me my own herb capsules. Her holistic approach to health is so refreshing, and I'd recommend her to anyone--even people like me who eschew needles and blood! read more

Geeta has been a godsend for me. I had digestive problems that I tried, without success, to treat naturally for 6 months. Then tried Western medicine, where the cure was worse than the ill. Geeta prescribed a herb formula which put me to rights within 3 days and after just a few months of taking it, I was able to stop and have had no problems since. She also was able to take care of my dry and itchy skin that drives me mad each winter. Geeta gave me results where Western medicine could not. Unless I break my nose or femur, I will ask Geeta first before going to my GP. read more

I had one acupuncture session with Geeta. She was thorough and sensitive in discussing my issues (private - sorry) with me. I felt very comfortable on her table and barely felt the needles. I lay there totally relaxed for a time (how long?) and left feeling absolutely wonderful. read more

I am excited for my next visit. Acupuncture is cumulative you know read more

Geeta is really a miracle worker and I can't recommend her highly enough. As others have said, it's really her intake procedure and her ability to listen that sets her apart, not just to what you're saying with your voice about whatever pain or ailment you have, but what your body itself is saying. And she takes a very holistic approach, looking at overall health and helping you understand how everything is connected, in terms of what you put into your body (foods, etc.) and what you do with your body (exercise, stretching, etc.) Her acupuncturist skills are top-notch of course, but that's only part of what Geeta brings to bear to help you heal yourself. And that's really what she does - gets you faced in the right direction so that you understand how to heal yourself. read more
