A little pricey. A little inconsistent in execution. But, it is still damn good eats!

Great food, amazing and friendly service. Got custom smash-burger and large cheese fries, and it was very good.

The Devil Made Us Do It!…read more Popped into Devil's Acre for lunch today, located right along Easton Rd in Doylestown. The place has a good-sized dining area with booths, high tops, and bar seating. The staff was warm, welcoming, and impressively patient with my million questions about the "daily specials." Devil's Acre rotates deli, dog, salad, tot, and soup options each day - definitely ask what kind of mischief the chef is up to before ordering. After some back-and-forth, I played it safe (?) with the Fried Chicken Sandwich while he went with the Beef on Weck. We started with the pretzel bites, which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment - six small pieces with a lackluster dipping sauce. Wouldn't recommend. Unfortunately, the main event didn't redeem things. My chicken sandwich was underwhelming, small, and it could've used a good pounding to actually fit the bun. The beef had decent flavor but was begging for an au jus to take it to the next level. Both sandwiches came with chips, want fries instead? That's not just an up charge - it's a full side order, and you lose the chips in the process. All in, lunch set us back nearly $60 with tip, and we left feeling underfed in both flavor and value. Next time I hear the Devil whispering, I think I'll keep driving.

I love the fountain soda machine that offers a million options , I like the zero calorie sprite options and they offer tops for the to go option. I have asked several times what size the actual patty is and no employee has ever been able to answer the my question do went with the single for lunch today. The burger was very good , the first bite was tasty and you know you aren't at a large fast food chain. I would say the patty was 3-3.5 ounces so a double would probably be recommended if you're hungry. The potato roll was good but definitely a little too big for one patty . The burger is a solid value when ordered in the combo meal which includes fries and a drink. I was hoping it was better than it was and it is not in the same league as five guys or way back burgers, other local competition. Next review will be the cheesesteak!

Today I was lucky enough to meet the owner, really nice guy. I learned that their burgers are always fresh and never frozen, I will have to try one next time. My go to is the 3 tender platter w coleslaw, fries and a piece of Texas Toast. They have one of the fountain coke blend machines like Wawa (less flavors though) and have the Freal Milkshakes like Wawa used to have. Kinda of reminds me of Cluck U Chicken when they were around 20-30 years ago. Highly recommend trying WNB Factory.
