I started my son here in November at 8 weeks old. The place was close and it seemed OK during our…read moretour. They promised a lot in ways of activities but I saw nothing during my time there. On the first day, I rang the doorbell. They let me in and did not check my ID. I stood there having no clue where to go. No one greeted me. Everyone just stood at me until I said, Ummm my son is starting today - where to I go. I walked through the playroom (which is carpet btw and they don't make you take your shoes off) and into the infant room where no teacher introduced themselves. I still don't know their names. I supplied bottles, diapers, a blanket, a crib cover( pack n plays - no cribs) formula and water. They didn't ask me any questions about him so I filled them in a bit and off I went. On almost every occasion I went to pick him up he was just sitting in some type of device crying. I would rush him home and give him a bottle. On one particular occasion, they called to tell me my son threw up and had a low grade fever. I told them that he was congested and it was spit up bc of the phlegm he was swallowing. They were convinced he threw up and I should take him to the Drs. I went to pick him up - they threw him at home and he was screaming crying. I asked them if they could make him a bottle bc I cant drive him to the Dr crying and hungry. The woman took a dirty bottle out of the sink, and began to make his bottle. I was so frazzled at this point that I just went with it. She hands me the bottle. I start to feed him and realize she never put the blue air piece in. So I called her out and said no wonder he threw up. He's drinking air. She just starred at me. Then I noticed the nipple he was drinking out of was not his!!! It was another babies and it was dirty. I took him to the DR and he had no fever and was fine. I decided to remove my child from this place. We found him an awesome school where he isn't just going to be sitting in a swing all day made to sleep. On our last day - they handed me his stuff. The owner never even spoke to me after I told some girl ( again - no one introduces themselves to you) that we would not be returning the next week. And the owner was there that day and saw me hand my child over. Not one word from her. When I got home, I went through his things. And took out his dirty bottle with a level 3 nipple on it. My child is 4 months old. He does not use a level 3 nipple. The second bottle I gave them was never open. They never even used it. I am disgusted and I feel awful that I let my child go to a place like this.

During the summer they have mandatory 3 HOUR nap time, regardless of the age of the child. If your…read morechild doesn't want to sleep (or is too old to nap) then they can QUIETLY watch tv. The center looks great and is clean and new but for me it was a total disappointment. I don't know if its laziness or if the owner really thinks that watching movies is an appropriate way for school age children to spend their summer days. Probably a little of both. On more than one occasion my daughter was reprimanded for laughing during nap time. She said she wasn't allowed to have a special snack ( I think it was ice cream) because of it. That's just ridiculous. Three hour nap time for older kids is unreasonable. Waste of my money and my child's summer.

As a parent, entrusting someone else with your child is one of the hardest things to do--but from…read morethe moment we walked into ABC KiddieKampus, we felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Our 4-year-old had struggled with separation anxiety and was behind on speech milestones when we first enrolled. We were nervous, hopeful, and honestly a bit overwhelmed. But the team at ABC didn't just meet our expectations--they exceeded them in every possible way. The teachers here are incredible. Patient, intuitive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Within weeks, we saw huge changes: our son was communicating more, excited to go to daycare, and coming home telling us about his "friends" and "Miss A." They took the time to understand his unique needs and strengths and truly partnered with us every step of the way. We especially appreciate the little things that add up to something big: the detailed daily reports, the frequent pictures of his learning and playing, and the way the staff greets him (and us) by name every single morning. They celebrate his milestones like they're their own--and as a parent, that means the world. Today, he's more confident, socially engaged, and hitting his developmental milestones with joy. And honestly, we couldn't have done it without ABC Kiddie Kampus. If you're looking for a daycare that feels like an extension of your family, this is it. Forever grateful, -- A Happy Parent

Which is a ratio of one to 4, but not always easy. They said later said no more babies with toddlers but then add a child that just turned one that same day and said he wasn't a baby. Just that one extra child with a group of two's was not easy for one person. Especially when they were just learning to walk . The job was hard enough , but then they added cameras on you so that the main office and director could watch you and come in and tell you what you were doing wrong . You also have to be very careful about what you say or do because you could be easily accused of abuse. Also, it was written in the hand book that you could be fired at any time for any reason. It was sometimes a happy place and other times very stressful. Happy to be out and I have a better job now.
