So called extra cheese pizza. All the edges looked like this. No extra cheese either. Very dark.

Ordered a deep dish with extra cheese. Not only was it overcooked but they didn't do extra cheese at all. Too, they missed the ends altogether with everything but sauce. No personality employees too! Waist of $15.

Half an hour for this? Everytime I've came to this LC everyone looks like they hate their lives and very unprofessional

Pepperoni pizza

Got two pizzas and both didn't come cut and just the worst pizza I've gotten. It's falling apart there's literally holes down sides are thicker. Just got it right now for pick up. And came cold definitely not hot and ready

At least it was cut this time. There are days they don't even bother to cut the pizza but yet we still return because the kids want pizza. I guess you get what you pay for. Customer service is terrible 2/3 of the time.

Service is horrible there. Please hire better employees if a restaurant doesn't have napkins you shouldn't be a restaurant.

Lil Capo Pizzeria 5.0/5 The Closest Thing to New York…read morePizza I've Found in Arizona Growing up in Upstate New York, I admittedly have high standards when it comes to pizza. After moving to Arizona in 2007, I've spent years searching for a slice that genuinely reminds me of home. While there are plenty of decent pizza spots throughout the Valley, very few capture that authentic New York style. Lil Capo Pizzeria absolutely does! Ironically, I first discovered Lil Capo after an Arizona Cardinals game. Like many people, I wasn't interested in paying stadium prices for mediocre food, so I jumped on Yelp looking for something nearby. Lil Capo had outstanding reviews, so we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did because it's now my benchmark for New York-style pizza in Arizona. The first thing that stood out was the crust. This is exactly what a New York slice should be--thin, crispy on the bottom, slightly chewy inside, sturdy enough to fold, and never overloaded with grease. So many places think "New York style" simply means making a large slice. Lil Capo understands it's really about the balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and texture. Every bite reminded me why I miss pizza back east. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, the cheese is perfectly proportioned, and everything tastes fresh without trying to reinvent what already works. Sometimes simplicity executed well is the hardest thing to accomplish. Pizza: 5/5 Service was equally impressive. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. After selecting our slices, they quickly reheated them to perfection and had them on our table within minutes. It's exactly what you want from a neighborhood pizzeria--fast, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Service: 5/5 I also appreciated the atmosphere. Lil Capo isn't trying to be flashy or trendy. Instead, it has that classic neighborhood pizzeria feel where the focus stays exactly where it should--on making outstanding pizza. It's casual, comfortable, family-friendly, and somewhere you could easily become a regular. The pricing is another pleasant surprise. Considering the quality of the pizza and the generous slice sizes, I found everything to be very fairly priced. Overall Finding authentic New York-style pizza in Arizona has been surprisingly difficult over the years, but Lil Capo delivers exactly what I've been searching for. Authentic New York-style crust Excellent sauce-to-cheese ratio Minimal grease Friendly, efficient service Fair prices Comfortable neighborhood atmosphere I've eaten pizza throughout New York my entire life, and Lil Capo remains the closest I've found to the real thing anywhere in Arizona. Whenever I'm on the west side of the Valley--or heading to or from a Cardinals game--I find myself looking for an excuse to stop in. Next time, I'm skipping the slices and ordering an entire pie. If you're a fellow New Yorker living in Arizona and craving a slice that tastes like home, Lil Capo should be at the top of your list.

Both pizzas were interesting. The Lichfield Park pizza has pesto sauce and corn on it, as well as cheese, so you might get a slice of that after your "guests" scarf their first helping. You better grab a slice of the Brooklyn pizza right away, though, because it's a traditional-looking pizza with pepperoni and sausage. You won't get a second shot at a slice. You'll get to finish the rest of the "adult" strawberry & bacon salad, though, with spinach instead of lettuce, walnuts, strawberries, and bacon bits. It doesn't come with ranch or even ranch-colored dressing, so they might not risk trying a pinkish salad dressing as a dip for their pizza crust. It's a very good salad and helped my vacation digestion, since I'm not used to the 110° August heat. Papa Paul's Pizza is less than a mile away from my room at the Wigwam. Going there would even be walkable in the summer heat if the fences around the Wigwam had pedestrian gates. As it is, both driveway gates on that corner of the Wigwam are slotted through the perimeter fence far from the place where Papa Pauls and the resort are just across the street from each other. I'm too delicate for a 0.9-mile walk in that much sun. I enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar to rehydrate, though, while I waited for the pizzas to come out of the oven.

Limited wine list for an Italian restaurant. We started with a caesar salad to split - SO much cheese, it was too much. I understand some people like that, but I wish they would have lightened up the amount and just have people ask for more if they want that. I ordered the chicken & broccoli alfredo. Sauce was clearly made in house, but the pasta itself was generic and did not taste like it was homemade. Good amount of protein though. We also ordered the mango and classic cannolis, and these stole the show. Flaky to perfection! If we come back, we might try the pizzas to see how it compares to the pasta.

The dim lighting works perfectly with the décor, and the metal entrance door gives the place a cool, slightly old-school vibe. There's plenty of parking, plus street parking, so no need to circle the block 15 times questioning your life choices. Now, the important part: the food. They have a really good variety of lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The food overall is tasty, but the pizza is definitely the star of the show. Artisan-style, full of flavor, and with a great balance between portion size and quality. The drinks are good too, with plenty of options. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms--which, yes, absolutely matters! And whatever you do, save room for dessert. Seriously. It's a great way to finish the meal... even if five minutes earlier you swore you were completely full. Definitely a nice find, and a place I'd visit again.

The Bruschetta is really light with amazing flavor, small tomatoes drizzled with balsamic, the bread is soft but sturdy enough to hold the tomato. Wings! We opted for the lemon pepper wings; perfectly crispy delicious flavor. The main course we shared the Margherita pizza! OMG, the crust is so light & buttery with fresh mozzarella, not too much sauce. Andrea's service is great, the decor & restaurant is cozy with a warm feeling. If it wasn't for the 13 school staff wanting to split each check & arguing who got what, we could've paid. I felt badly for Andrea.

The pictures truly don't do the food justice -- the flavors, portions, and presentation were even better in person. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with screens throughout the entire space, making it a perfect spot to catch a game or enjoy a sports event with friends and family. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the food or the atmosphere -- it was the incredible customer service. Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the staff made us feel like we were their only table. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently checked in on us throughout our visit. When the manager found out it was our first time there, he personally came over to welcome us, gave us coupons for a future visit, and made sure we felt appreciated. That extra touch truly made an impression. It's rare to find a busy restaurant where the team still takes the time to make every guest feel valued, and Bubba's 33 absolutely delivered. What disappointed me most was that no effort was made to acknowledge the inconvenience.
