He puts me on hold, then come back and asks "so what do you want to do about it". I would get it if I was being rude, but I was absolutely not. Once again, I hate complaining, and probably wouldn't be writing this review if he would have just been nice. Idk anyone who would willingly spend 70$ for cold pizza, the least mountain mikes could do is be nice. Like I was to him. If I was being a Karen then for sure, be mean. Furthermore, I thought because I ordered an XL Pizza I could score an extra ranch, but she wanted to charge me a dollar, Proclaiming "you already get 1 in your cheesy bread." I ordered a fricking XL Pizza. So, I guess everyone at my dinner table gets to dip just the tip of their slice in the ranch one time ONLY. Marcos and I might go on a break. I'm not happy.

Marco's is one of those places that's either a five-star experience or a frustrating one, and…read morethat's why I'm settling on three stars. When they get your order right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. The pizza is delicious, the ingredients are good, and it's easy to remember why you keep coming back. The problem is consistency. Anything outside of a standard order--asking for the pizza to be double cut, cooked well done, or making other simple modifications--seems to be about a 50/50 chance of being done correctly. We've also had several orders over the years that simply weren't what we ordered. Mistakes happen, and that's understandable. But pizza isn't cheap anymore, and when you're spending that kind of money, you expect the order to be accurate. We'll probably continue to order from Marco's because when they get it right, it's excellent. I just wish the consistency matched the quality of the food. If they can tighten that up, this would easily be a five-star review.

BUT, not only has the quality of the pizza changed but the prices as well. As I have noticed in the past few orders. Today I stopped by to order a XL Western BBQ Pizza for the family. Cost $32.00. Okay, but there was a sign outside that had the days special of a free cheese pizza with any XL pizza purchase. After I paid I sat down and turned around and saw the sign by the front window. I do recall getting the free cheese pizza in the past as we have come often. I know they have deals everyday now, but I honestly don't keep up with what every day has. Any way, when the cashier came out to hand me my pizza, I mentioned the sign. She just said "oh I forgot to bring the sign in this morning as I was busy". Okay...so today is Saturday. If the deal was for another day do you mean she left the sign out all night? She could have at least honored it. Geez, so disappointed as this was my family's favorite place before the change of owner.

It was super thin and crunchy, and the toppings were generous. I savored every bite! It's a delightful treat to have when you're craving pizza, especially since they offer a wide variety of crusts, toppings, calzones, and salads. I would definitely stop by again in the future.

I'm sorry that several Pieology locations in town have closed; the ones left are pretty far from us. BUT, pieology is definitely keeping the economy in mind with their 2 for $20 deal and reward/perks. AND they did not skimp on the toppings at this location. Service was pretty good, no complaints. I would have loved my pizza but it was *almost* too dark/overdone in the bottom but the cheese could have used more time. That was probably my fault though because I asked for a lot of cheese haha Bonus, they have all the variations of diet Dr Pepper I'm glad Fresno still has a couple Pieology!
