Once ready we're went back to the bar to order. The food didn't take too long, about 15 minutes. I had a Buffalo chicken salad which was good but not alot of meat. But he was able to eat it as is. The fries were not soggy but not crispy just a happy medium. The bartender did do a table check with us and asked if we needed anything when the food came. Over all a good experience.

It's a busy corner, so there's some traffic noise with all of the trucks passing by. It was an easy lunch choice as the menu looked great for two hungry travelers on a sunny fall day with colorful trees all around. We were seated promptly and ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich special, and then we waited. And waited, and waited. It was 25-30 minutes later, still no food and no attention from our waitress. I finally went inside to find her, and she said it would be another five minutes or so as the the first order came out burnt. When lunch finally arrived, the burger was served on a slightly too small plate which made it hard to assemble without the fries spilling onto the table. The burger was tasty and cooked well, with a flavorful but runny barbecue sauce that puddled onto my plate. The sweet potato fries were slightly undercooked - they were warm, but soft and not crispy on the edges, They were served with a sweet caramel dipping sauce that was like a dessert, a nice treat.

We liked the first night that we came here so much that we came the following night also. The menu has some very unique interpretations of high end cuisine. The restaurant itself is a shot gun space designed with booths in the center rather than the sides, creating a better overall balanced space while also creating very cozy and romantic booths down the center of the room. A strategically placed bar with a large mirror at the far end of the dining area brightens the entire room and invites diners into the restaurant. The menu is fairly sophisticated, and offers something for almost everyone. I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken, sauteed and drizzled with a savory brie beschamal and striped with raspberry coulis and served on top of a bed of basmati rice pilaf. The presentation was beautiful and the food was excellent. The wife had the Wild Mushroom Risotto and said it was delicious. We shared a Pecan Upside Down Cake a la mode for dessert that was fantastic. Our server Tim was efficient, attentive, and personable. We went back the very next night (because it was apparent that Bella Cucina is the area's premium restaurant) and sat at the bar where we had a great time interacting with local patrons. We split their Chicken Chili Soup with cornbread and a Margherita Pizza and had a few glasses of wine and beer. Our server Alex was juggling many customers and servers while assuring our experience was enjoyable. The prices were very reasonable and the overall experience was top quality. They also have a large very nicely appointed outdoor seating area with space heaters. If we were staying in town another night we'd definitely be going here again!
