I love coming here for a concert. The arena itself is so clean. The people are so nice to help you find your seat is just so nice no matter where you sit to enjoy the performances in the last month I went to three concerts and they were excellent even the sound was great. I cannot wait to go back to see the Pistons play Cleveland and their final game for the playoffs.

I love lca so much! It is such a nice and clean venue with so many options for drinks, food, seating, etc. the only thing I will say is that there are seats are steep so the higher you sit a hear of heights might be an issue.

Great location to see a hockey game a concert or any other event. This arena is really nice. The seating is great. The interior is nice and clean with lots of gift shops and places to eat and drink to choose from centrally located in the downtown area with lots of restaurants and hotels nearby. Staff was so super nice and helpful. You need to find a seat or any kind of amenity that that Rena has the staff is always willing to help the gift shop with all Red Wings gear. Lots of stuff to choose from prices were OK what you would expect from our major arena I would highly recommend seeing a hockey game or any other event here.

OK, I'm sure a lot of this is reflective of the amazing tickets we had but my husband and I recently took in a Pistons game for the first time at LCA and it was AWESOME. We had some friends (whose family used to run the team!) and they were kind enough to share their VIP tickets with us so we got to enjoy the game courtside, right by the Pistons' bench! We also had access to the Player's Club for food and beverages. In the lounge we enjoyed a variety of bites like snacks/starters like nachos, popcorn, wings, a cheese and charcuterie spread, and pizza (of course) followed by more entree-like offerings like smashburgers, hot dogs and coneys, sushi, etc. It wasn't the best meal I'd ever had but I definitely filled up my plate! They also offer a dessert buffet with brownies, cookies, cake pops, tarts, and an ice cream cart. We're teetotalers these days so we stuck to the sodas but they did also have a pretty nice looking open bar! There was also plenty of seating and on one side of the lounge is a glass wall where you can watch the players come and go to the locker room. Our seats were folding chairs (since they're makeshift seats that don't exist when the Wings are playing) but it was SO cool and pretty comfortable all things considered. And seeing a game was just so exciting and dynamic. Again, it could just be a product of being a "VIP" for the night but everyone who helped us out, from ushers to folks in the Players Club, were SO nice and friendly. I was grinning the whole night. Great times! I'm definitely spoiled now!

So took my son to a redwings hockey game and it was Fantastic! He absolutely loved it. The fans and the food . We were in a suite so it was a huge food spread and private suite seats we enjoyed the entire game . Too bad we lost ! You must experience a game or event at little Caesar's arena!

Traveling from Baltimore to Detroit for the first time to watch my beloved 2025 National Champions OKC Thunder play the Pistons, I wasn't sure what to expect from Little Caesars Arena which also hosts the Redwings hockey team. What a great venue! It is easy to get to via rideshare, is extremely walkable inside, is spacious with clean restrooms, has tons of snack/meal/beer options, has amazing views of the court no matter where you are seated, and is comfortable and clean. I also found everyone working in this arena to be very friendly, welcoming, and positive - even while I was adorned in Thunder gear from head to toe. Instead of "Thunder sucks!," I heard, "Hey, welcome to Detroit. Are you enjoying the city?" Amazing people here.

Caught the Red Wings vs Blue Jackets game here and WOW, what a game! Wings took it in OT, super entertaining from start to finish. I've been to Joe Louis Arena multiple times for concerts and always loved the history and grit of that building, but it was definitely showing its age. Little Caesars Arena feels like the perfect upgrade. Sure, you miss some of that old-school charm, but they did a great job bringing over historic statues and displays so you still get that nostalgic Red Wings energy the second you walk in. The arena itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and the ceiling design with all the lighting and production elements is awesome. Such a cool place to watch a hockey game. The fanbase is passionate as ever, the atmosphere is electric, and there's just so much to see here if you're even remotely a Wings fan or a hockey fan in general. Total win. We had our company's meeting here this past week and had a great time! All of the employees were super friendly and helpful! The seats were actually surprisingly comfortable and they had lots of food options in the arena. I had the little Caesar's pizza thinking it would be better quality at this arena, unfortunately it wasn't. The sound quality, projections, video, etc all were great for our meeting and the guest performances.

Parking Garage process was smooth. Greeted warmly upon entering arena. Staff was readily available to assist with providing directions. Bathrooms are clean and attendant was very nice. Plenty of food and beverage options. Venue is cashless but has a converter to debit machine. Highly recommended for a FUN night out!

For concerts and Red Wings games, this is an amazing state-of-the-art venue! Buying any food or drinks though, and parking for the arena is pretty mediocre. I hate having to be like this because I love going to Red Wings games (been to close to 40 here) and multiple shows and concerts here, but the parking & food/drink service here is abysmal. Depending on the event, parking close by is ridiculously high in price. Typically we'll park much further away and walk because of this. The food/drink options here are pretty vast but the specialty places (UWM Market, Mixing Board, Mike's Pizza Bar, and the concessions) are pretty disappointing. DO NOT get a hot dog here. The buns are so dry and the hot dogs are way over cooked. Beers are sometimes flat but they're still serving. And the specialty food is simply not worth the money. Have some beers in the garage prior and eat elsewhere. Atmosphere in here is incredible though. The people in charge of the jumbotron and lightning get an A+! During the Red Wings games, the games are so interactive and make you really want to sit in your seat the whole time (which, if you read above, there's not much to get up for anyways). But if you do have to get up to use the bathroom, this is a huge improvement from Joe Louis Arena. Way more bathrooms available and they are very clean. This was a HUGE complaint at the old place. Love coming here and will continue coming here, but the offerings in the arena seem to be declining since the first Red Wings season. Spending $90 per ticket for upper bowl to then buy an overcooked hotdog, stale popcorn and a flat beer? No thanks. I'll just eat and drink before I go in.

I was that person who was so bummed about tearing down the Joe, but also knew we needed a revival. LCA, without a doubt, has become a huge staple of the D! I love the design, layout, and it's so much more fun to come here for concerts, and Wings and Pistons games now! I have never come across an employee who wasn't completely pleasant and genuinely happy to be there. It's a great stadium with awesome vibes! I love that it's walkable distance from MGM (free parking), and they have so delicious food and drink options!

Elisa C.

The Little Caesars Arena had friendly staff and a lot of food options. The modern architecture was still welcoming to fans. We opted to get Little Caesar's Detroit Style slices and they didn't disappoint. We went for a Redwings game and I'd be interested in seeing a concert at this venue.

Carolina C.

I have to say LCA feels like its own little city, with restaurants spread around the first floor and bars all over the second one. My favorite note is the poutine in the food hall! The amenities are super clean, but I fear the further up you go, the worse the sound gets and the carrier it is to look down. LCA feels like a really vertical drop rather than a more stair step up. For basketball games, I will say the energy is super electric!

Ask the Community - Little Caesars Arena

How strict is the new bag policy? Are we talking a wristlet only or something more boxy that might actually hold my car keys and phone🤣?

Horribly strict. I had to hoof it back to my car when it was 8 degrees and windy to store my small clutch. Only after I was yelled at by security. There is no leeway and they don't care.

Can you bring a purse in for concerts?

The max size is 4x6. So keep it super small or they will require you to check the bag.

How does LCA work parents dropping/picking teens up for concerts?

There's not a real system for this. You can try to pull up on Woodward to get them as they walk up, but you can't park in front or leave your car standing. All the side streets are usually pretty backed up as well. The best way to pick someone up in… Read more

The stadium packs a lot of people and depending on the event, it can get really busy so get their early! Plenty of parking nearby, but my opinion is to choose somewhere else that isn't a Ford Field lot or garage. They're either full pretty early, especially for tailgaters at a game, or they're simply very expensive. Food and drink throughout the venue is very good. As you can expect, the prices are high but that's the nature of going to an arena/stadium. For a Lions game, they do some fun tents and other activities in the street in front of the arena that faces Comerica Park.

They do a really great job at making most of them not feel like you're just in another generic sports venue. The cobblestone streets are probably the leading factor, but there's just a lot going on here that says you're definitely in Ford Field and nowhere else. The negative about the concourses? They are far too small for the sellout crowds the Lions have. I love to walk the entire lower and upper concourse in a new stadium I'm visiting so that I can see everything. Here, this took me the better part of an hour just because I was essentially in rush hour traffic the whole time. Within the actual game itself, it's kind of a nice change of pace that there isn't an emcee screaming in your face about t-shirt tosses and other in-game entertainment during every whistle. That's a thing in live sports these days, but I actually liked the very throw back feel here. The fans knew to be pin-drop quiet durinng the Lions possessions and insanely loud when the defense was on the field. I appreciated that aspect too. Other than the concourses being way too narrow, this was a great place to watch a game.

The vibe a a Tigers game is always fun one and the organization does a good job of keeping the fans engaged. The food situation is pretty good for a ballpark. They have a lot to choose from. You can get something traditional like having a hotdog, pizza, nachos, or something else like some barbecue from Slows or one of the foods offered in the restaurants that reside in the ballpark. I will say though like all places where you are a captive audience (like an airport) that the prices are high and can add up quickly for a family.

Watching a game in a luxury box was a first for me and shall I say the last. It's not a dig on the stadium it's just not my thing. The people there were more attuned to discussing business rather than watch a game. The food offered wasn't great. They had the usual hot dog trays, smash burgers, chips, popcorn etc.. The wings were drenched in a really sweet BBQ sauce. Sorry, again, not my thing. Anyway, Comerica is a nice addition to the revitalized downtown Detroit area. I really didn't get to wander around too much with the exception of stopping at one of the shops to get a hat like I normally do when I visit a stadium I've never been to. Also, I usually try one of the speciality concession stands that offers a food option which is unique to the city. I didn't get to do that either. The stadium is really nice and there appeared to be plenty of parking around the stadium. And, outside of a couple of videos, I didn't take many pictures. I try to get nice pictures of the field, the players, the crowd and the architecture of the stadium, which again I didn't get to. I'm contemplating booking a trip out there in June when the Yankees are in town and going with my son. If I do, a more in depth review will be added here.

We got there early enough to park in one of the several lots close by. It was $20 cash to park but that's what I expected. The lines were long and we weren't quite sure which one to get in, since there were at least two branches that we saw. I think we figured out that they all led to an entrance, and the line actually moved pretty quickly. They had people going through the line checking vaccine cards, so we just had to get through a bag check/pat down right outside the entrance. I wish they had checked IDs and given wristbands in line too, because the bar lines were long and very slow. I feel like that would have helped speed things up a bit. All the staff we encountered were friendly and nice. We did find someone to direct us to our seats, which was helpful. The seat numbers are a bit hidden and definitely not that visible when it's dark. The seats were comfortable and we were mostly shielded from the blowing storm that came through right before the show started. It was so cool to see Canada and be on the water. I loved that aspect of the venue. There were a few bars, but again the lines were really long and they were out of two things we tried ordering initially. The menu was also confusing as it listed prices for some drinks but half the menu was just bottle service - I don't think anyone at this show was doing bottle service, but I guess it was an option? The restroom lines were long but moved pretty quickly. They did have restroom attendants which helps with moving things along. If you have a couple bucks, be sure to tip them. They keep the facilities clean and have mints/candy/gum and other supplies for use. The main complaint I have is that the parking situation after the show was a nightmare, with no one directing traffic at all, either in the parking lot or on the street. Probably not any fault of the venue but it took us about half an hour of just sitting in standstill, gridlocked traffic before we figured out we could turn around and get into a line of traffic that was actually moving. I'd be interested in seeing another show here in the future. We did mask up the whole time because it was pretty crowded, looked to be sold out even though we were outdoors I just felt better wearing a mask.

I had the chance to experience it first hand this past week, and it was better than expected: 1) parking was free! we didn't pay for the premier/VIP lot though (it was already sold out by the time I tried to get it!) 2) concessions were priced as expected, BUT i was surprised by the variety AND the food options. Also on the lawn, like a baseball game, you have folks walking around selling water, lemonade, etc. 3) the overall vibe was great - people were having fun (maybe too much fun ahah). Didn't realize there was a tailgate culture since it was: *3:30pm Parking Opens *6pm Doors *7:30pm Music! The opener started on time and played about an hour and the main act started on time. They had speakers going out into the lawn so I could hear JUST fine. I found it helpful to have my earplugs still hit 95dbs. I think being inside the pavilion sounded way to reverb-y so I really enjoyed the lawn. 4) We rented chairs and found it worth it at $15 each (with $5 deposit returned to you). Bring your gear and hang before the shows. The drink options inside are varied. You can find Michigan beers and local restaurants inside. The addition I'm most excited to try is the Fed (a local Clarkston restaurant that has built a satellite here). Like every live event, drinks are stupid expensive. Offset that slightly by bringing a 20 oz. sealed water bottle in with you. One per person. Chairs should be beach height only (no more than 12 inches off the ground). You can bring blankets as well or instead of for lawn seating. There are reserved/covered seats as well. Sound is great here. There are monitors in the lawn section so you can actually see something. Most concerts end by 11 due to the noise ordinance. No clear recycle bins until after you leave the show. Great for dropping cans off on your way in, but a complete miss on the way out when you have to throw plastic and metal in a garbage bin.
