Up from North Dakota and this place was recommended by a local Winnipeg friend of mine. I will definitely come back if I ever have the chance. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wings were great! We had an order of Honey Sriracha, Spicy Hot! Spicy and A.N.D.E to go that I haven't tried yet. It's a small dinning area and a bit dive like but I love drives! The service here is horrible and the prices are way too high for what you get. I did a take out order - ordered at 5:30 for pick up at 6:30 and when I arrived at 6:30 I still had to wait 20 minutes for my order. The cooks in the kitchen were swearing and screaming and not wearing their masks properly. How this place is still in business is beyond me. They try and paint themselves as having the best deal on chicken when in reality, they are comparing the cost of chicken using the most expensive one they can find (Sobey's not on sale) versus something more reasonable like Superstore or Fresh Co. If you have a concern about your food (wrong sauces used), they treat you like a liar or that you are trying to get something for free (never asked for a thing). The place setting is so cozy and I find it super cool how they have a TV with a game console set up in the far corner for entertainment. The portion size is great and you definitely get what you are paying for. The wings have a lot of meat on them and it's very fresh. The food: The wings in this place are great. Tons of flavours to choose from, gluten free, vegetarian options and for those on keto, can also ask for naked wings. The wings themselves are meaty and kudos to this place for letting you split flavours into 7 wings per flavour. I will be back for sure! The restaurant: We ate downstairs because my son was with me. I like the n64 and classic NES available to play. The restaurant was pretty crowded and small but not uncomfortably so. Wow!! I came here whilst working in Winnipeg on business and I wasn't disappointed!! Too many different combinations of flavors was just awsome!! The wings tasted delicious and were very plump and meaty!! Customer service was on point!! Only 2 servers but they managed a busy Friday evening with ease!! A great place to stop at fringe, or any street fest. I liked the checker fries better when they were like mini waffles, but now they are like a seasoned potato chip. Nice, but the wings are the real star here. Pineapple curry is my lady. I've tried others and liked them, but I'll always go back. I've always liked that the chicken itself is tasty. This is a food truck that specializes in chicken wings!! I love wings so I was excited to try this place when I saw it at the Fringe (on King Street by Old Market Square), though they are usually found on Ellice Avenue. The truck offers up 27 different flavours - all breaded chicken wings. There are even some side dishes like fried pickles, which I didn't get to try. There are "specialty wings" that have stuff topped on the wings like poutine, nachos, spaghetti and near death (lots of chili peppers on top). Then there are the regular wings with various sauces. You get get a single order of 7 wings for $7 or a double order which is 14 wings for $11. The wing size is similar to Earls' wings. If you get a double order, you can choose 2 flavours for a double order. The flavours include lemon pepper, honey garlic, salt and pepper, sweet chili teriyaki, frank's hot sauce, spicy hot etc. I wasn't too thrilled when I heard that they only sold breaded wings as I prefer the non-breaded wings. But I have to say their breading is nicely flavoured and not overly battered - a plus. The wings were prepped pretty quickly so it didn't seem like they were actually fried to order from its raw state. The wings were warm so I think they likely just flashed fried them again to order and then they pour your chosen sauce over the wings. So the downside is that the wings are tossed with the sauce. I wasn't a fan of this aspect because when you have wings, you want them to be evenly coated in the chosen flavour. That being said, I did enjoy the various sauces as they were well made and had great flavour. The salt and pepper did not have a sauce but had good balance of both - very good classic wing flavour. The surprising hit for me was the honey garlc - I don't normally like honey garlic as it's usually overly sweet with no discernible garlic flavour but this sauce had a very distinct honey AND garlic flavour without being overly sweet. Great flavour! I tried the Frank hot sauce - which was a bit too vinegary and overpowering, partly attributed to it not being tossed with the sauce evenly. The zorro is sweet flavoured sauce that has some citrus and very strong ginger flavours - there's definitely some Asian flavours in that one. The zorro wasn't my fave but it has a strong and unique flavour. The bayou is another good one - a creamy chipotle flavour, smooth taste with a subtle hit of smokiness. Overall, a fun food truck to try. The wings aren't greasy, the batter is good and there are a ton of interesting flavours but you just have to look past the fact that they don't toss your wings in the sauce (which is a slight bummer). read more

Tried Little Bones with the bf a little while ago, and it quickly became one of our new favourite places . We go there/order out quite often now and are never disappointed. The restaurant itself it pretty small, so if you go on a busy night expect to wait for a table - worth it though! read more

Tried this place when they were in Gimli for the Icelandic festival. The truck itself is fun and quirky and the menu is very different from the standard restaurant wings. They have a ton of flavor combos and toppings, along with some interesting sides. My boyfriend tried the sweet chili teriyaki wings. The sauce was really good- it was your standard sweet chili with a runnier teriyaki and some other add-ins. It was nice to see some deviation from the normal sauces. I had a side of the nacho cheese sticks that are coated in tortilla chips. Unfortunately the restaurant I work in also has these under a different name so I know 100% these are bought from a sysco-like company, frozen, and then are deep-fried to order. They are good but cheap "food". Next time I'll try the pickle chips or battered button mushrooms. read more

I'm new to Winnipeg. I've eaten here 5 or 6 times. I could eat the wings unsauced, they're that great. Hence, if you find a sauce that suits you, then the wings are really really good. I've tried maybe 8 very diverse flavours and they've all been great. The tater tots and checkered fries are really good too. read more
