Handles chaos of siblings in office with ease. Doesn't push for dental work not needed at the time.

A year ago I left a review. The frustration was related to long wait times. After having several…read moreservices here.. I have more to say. I noticed improvement in the check in wait times. If your spot is at 10, you are likely to be in by 11. So, within an hour. However, I disagree with everything else. It's nice staff are kind. It's clean. But the annual exams and cleanings are VERY surface level. I mean they literally just take X-rays and brush your teeth. One time they flossed and the next semi annual they didn't... and the technician doesn't actually push the floss between the teeth, rather she just skated the floss on the top. Also, this is the first place I've ever been that does imaging, dentist comes in and does an "exam" aka looks with her flashlight (while talking to the staff about the next 3 rooms she's going into see because she's the only one) and THEN you have your teeth brushed. There is no real cleaning, scaling, or root planing of your teeth. Dentist doesn't review any of that anyways or she would know her techs aren't even flossing the gum line. How could she? She comes before the cleaning is done. Now, I've had a few fillings here. 1st filling I was pre numbed with gel, then given the injection, and so forth. The next time I was told they don't do the gel numbing. 3/4 fillings have had long term pain and sensitivity after. Same thing with husband. He cannot chew on that side due to sensitivity. 1 of my fillings were between teeth and the filling is bridged so I can no longer floss because it's literally closed. When this was brought up, I was told to purchase a water flosser. Lastly, this is a place that advertises for children and pediatrics. My daughter who is 7 has some dental anxiety. The staff did not know how to handle it or address it. The dentist came in and said "what- do we need laughing gas for a simple cleaning??". We are lucky to finally have different insurance and we will certainly be going elsewhere.

There's typically only one actual dentist there who rotates around through at least 4 chairs at a time, always harried and overworked. On many occasions I've had to wait at least an hour after my appointment time before being seen. I've even called ahead to ask if they are overbooked, that doesn't help. If you go in for a cleaning it will be just a minimal polishing. They hire dental 'technicians' to do that work, not actual hygienists, so they aren't allowed to scrape anything off your teeth. It's a cut-rate operation and sometimes you get what you pay for.

This place has changed so much after the new owners, the front desk staff is constantly changing. I've continued to have frustrating experiences with this office, and unfortunately, it's become a pattern rather than a one-time issue. There are consistent delays, poor communication, and a lack of accountability from staff. I've had problems during my children's routine cleanings as well as with billing and insurance. Each time an issue comes up, it's made to feel like the fault is on my end rather than theirs, which is both frustrating and unprofessional. At our most recent visit, today, we arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment and still were not seen until over 40 minutes later. No one communicated the delay--we had to go up to the front desk ourselves to ask what was going on. Once again, we were given a vague excuse and a weak apology, but no real effort to improve the situation or keep us informed. It shouldn't be the patient's responsibility to repeatedly ask for updates or clarity. Communication and respect for patients' time are basic expectations, and this office continues to fall short. I'm disappointed and honestly tired of dealing with the same issues over and over again.

This all has to do with this a red headed, short worker who i believe is an assistant, is very rude and disrespectful not only towards the children but towards to her coworkers, makes the ugliest face towards and i didn't think much of it until my son complained about it after his last appointment and not once but three times witnessed her being very rude and unprofessional towards her coworkers from the ignoring, mumbling under her mask, making rude comments towards the coworkers, and laughing in a corner as if she wasn't asked politely to do something. If i was the that woman dealing with all her comments and negativity, i would've taken it up with upper management and HR, no patient or worker should have to deal with this monstrosity, this should be a team work environment to provide satisfaction to its clients, as for me and my son, we will not be returning to this dentist due to the hospitality that has been shown, i hope the best for this dentist but please sort out this issue with the worker, HR will be hearing from this.

I called Dr. Brandt's office at 8AM this morning and they had him in the exam room by 9:45am. After they examined him, they promptly came up with a treatment plan, and managed to work him in by 11:15. We were able to get everything done on the same day, as a walk-in! The staff was extremely polite and very helpful, they answered all of my questions, and even called this afternoon to check on him and make sure he was doing alright. Aside from the wonderful staff, the atmosphere is amazing and 100% child friendly. They really helped to make what was sure to be a disastrous day not so bad.

I decided if we didn't need a crown, we will just get a filling. I brought her in for her appointment to do the crown and filling and they did back x-rays while she was under anesthesia because she wouldn't allow them to do them before. She had an additional 4 cavities between her teeth that the x-rays revealed. They were small cavities easily fixable with fillings but they highly recommended crowns because of the amount of cavities she had and she is prone to them. I went ahead and agreed to that against my better judgement and not having but 2 minutes to think about it. Now she has 5 capped teeth that are all silver and her gums are really red and bleeding in those areas. I regret agreeing to the crowns. I know this was my choice but everything I've read about this suggests doing crowns on teeth that are not fixable with a filling or are broken or decayed. Her teeth are not like that all. I'm so upset and disappointed in this children's dentist office that she has this much metal in her mouth and they put it in her when it wasn't necessary to do so. Parents, do your research before making any decision like this that your child will have to live with for a good part of their life!!! I wish I had!! To top it off, we left her iPad there on accident because I was so stressed and no one turned it in so someone must of stolen it. How sad!!

After reaching out to several highly rated dentists near me on line, only Rivery got back to me, and in just a couple of hours. I was lucky to get an appointment that same day. Dr Lee and Raegan took care of me and I got in the chair right at the appointed time and we started to work. Long story short even though the crown I needed help with is older than Dr Yee he calmly proceeded to work with various components to get that crown ready to get back (firmly!) on that post. Without going into any more detail let me just say if you're calm and collected while working on my teeth, well then, I'm going to be calm and collected. He and Raegan tag teamed to keep me up to date on the progress and the prognosis yet chill while I was a reclining on that dental chair. Cool dental visit. Should you try them? Yes. But you'll have to work around my future visits - I've already got them scheduled!
