I walked past this place the other day and made a mental note to make my next coffee shop visit this destination. This is a sweet spot. It's connected to Cleo Bagels (same owner) and has a pretty great concept. This is a little coffee shop with a small selection of sweet treats and coffee drinks. The place next door is more expansive with bagels and a wider selection of breakfast fare. One can buy food from Cleo's and bring it next door to Little Bean and enjoy either space. I wasn't eating, but ordered a macchiato first and then later a drip coffee. I sat at a table with a view of the sidewalk on a sunny but chilly day and this table was perfect. I hung out and worked a bit and enjoyed WiFi, soft (not too loud) music playing in the background and experienced the comings and goings of people in the neighborhood. They only use paper cups for coffee drinks and I missed holding a mug (and saving on waste) but I can imagine it was a well-thought-out decision since the space is small and a kitchen non -existent. It is sizable enough to handle a small crowd for mornings and afternoons with a breakfast bar, tables with chairs and on a sunny day, outdoor seating. I'm glad this spot is here. read more
