Beautiful standup flower spray from Litsa's.
Eddy E.

I was shopping for a standup floral spray for my father's funeral. Since my budget was a little tight, I visited a few local florists, in-person and online. I went to Litsa's and they were able to help me select the perfect arrangement that was much more affordable and more beautiful than the other stores I've visited. The clerk (I think his name was "Chris") was very helpful and compassionate and made it very easy for me. The arrangement was delivered at the services on time and was absolutely beautiful! Very affordable and I strongly recommend Litsa's!

They were amazing they helped me and my daughter with her corsage for home coming on a last minute whim. Astounding service and great job rosees were gorgeous!!!! Thank you again

beautiful light blue corsage

Such amazing service!! I called the day before to ask for a corsage and they were able to accommodate. It sucked because I couldn't go in person to choose the color. I asked for light blue "cinderella" color. My mom went to pick it up and I guess the color was off, so the lady was able to find a color that matches and they were able to do a switch right away! No extra cost either. And the corsage was BEAUTIFUL. Thank you so much!!!!

I adore flowers. Nothing says welcome like a beautiful arraignment of gorgeous flowers in your home. I have my go to florist that I frequent for special occasions, but discovered recently that their prices have substantially increased, to the point of being unreasonable. Discovering Litsa's was just that... a great discovery. I called and spoke to George a few days ago, explained what I was looking for, and he took the order over the phone. All he wanted was my name. Talk about good old fashioned business practices! He made ordering simple, easy, and painless. When I picked up my order, the florist is among a group of other local businesses. It's clear that they've been around for awhile. For a floral shop, it is rather dark, and almost sad funeral home feeling. Turning on some brighter lights, and adding some background music might help to perk up the atmosphere a bit. They carry a lovely variety of pre-arranged floral pieces that are simple and elegant. With a day or two notice, they will pretty much create any type of floral piece that your heart desires. Here is where you get excited... their prices are incredible !! I had called my old florist to order flowers and corsages. It's that time of year when flowers prices are at a premium. Litsa's was more than half the price that I had been quoted from my former florist. Who doesn't want a great savings on pretty flowers ?! Litsa's has late Saturday hours, as well as, great weekday hours. Parking is what appears to be the rear of the building, but it's actually the front entrance. Call George and order some gorgeous flowers for yourself. Everyone needs a little pretty!

Great prices! Went to get flowers for a 7yr old's performance. Got a dozen roses of different colors for $20. I liked how the man saves helps price tags. Way to conserve!

Anniversary roses dying after 3 days! They looked old already on the first day which is unacceptable! How could they think it's ok to sell old roses they should be ashamed to sell them!

They have a lot of Sacramento items as well and even have items for different neighborhoods. Some of these are items from their team, and some are sourced from local vendors. There's a good mix of local business items, small business items, and popular items that make this a much different experience than other gift shops. It would've been helpful if they told me when they ran my insurance and then give me a choice whether I still wanted to go through them to fill my Rx and get only 30 days of meds and then have to come back 2 more times in the next 2 months to get the rest of my full script of 90 days or to go somewhere else. I'm not sure if it's same cost to fill a 3 months script split over 3 times or not, but the inconvenience factor is a consideration for me. When I found out and the cashier explained why, she was not friendly about it. She was kind of curt and borderline rude about it, like I should've known (things could change even with the same health insurance every year) and that they have no responsibility to let me know ahead of time that they can only fill 1/3 of a 90 days script now. Anyways, they also started charging a surcharge for credit card usage and this wasn't always the case. It's only 25c for $10 charged for example, but it's the principle of passing on costs to customers when it's really the overhead that a pharmacy that's quite established should expect. Or only accept cash, but I imagine that would turn away many customers. In any case, I may have to find a new pharmacy now, unfortunately. Even though I want to continue to support a small business, the customer service piece should be as good if not better. We walked around a bit afterwards and although the gifts they sell are different and unique, the sticker shock was unreal.

Well you can imagine my happiness while at a Yelp event in Oak Park I saw next door there was an amazing looking nursery-I just knew I would have to make a return visit-well when I finally had the time,we headed to The Plant Foundry located at 3500 Broadway in Oak Park. This place is so cute-I haven't been to a ton of nurseries as I've generally picked up my cactus plants at random spots like a midtown market or a Trader Joe's or as gifts from people but I will say this was one of the cuter nurseries I've been to. When we arrived I walked around a bit to check out what they had to offer-what was in season and wondering where the cactus plants were. I liked this little sign they had in the middle of their nursery which advised everyone what was in season and what should be planted at this time of year-for a newbie green thumb person like myself-information like that is very helpful.
