We came here to buy a corsage and boutonniere for prom. When we first walked in the guy was on the phone. Which I understand that happens, but some type of acknowledgment like "I'll be right with you" or something would've been nice instead of continuing his conversation like we weren't there. That was my first impression which I was willing to put aside. Then once he started helping us it seemed like he knew what he was doing. I showed him a photo of what we wanted and he reassured me it wouldn't be a problem. However, on the day we picked them up they looked nothing like the photo and it felt like they were trying to over compensate the corsage with baby's breath. Plus It had a long stem sticking out which made it uncomfortable to wear and you could see the twisted ties they used to hold it together. They didn't even try to hide them. I've never seen them so exposed before when buying corsages in the past. Unfortunately it was big and bulky and not very pretty. We really had no choice but to take it since it was the day of prom. The boutonniere only had the rose and baby's breath and no matching ribbon. We had requested gold ribbons for both. They refused to add any ribbon to his boutonniere. They said they don't do that. Which was annoying because when I placed the order I wasn't told it couldn't happen. We did still use them since we paid for them and it was too late to go anywhere else. The corsage did end up falling apart and didn't last through the night. We were extremely disappointed with that. They do have other beautiful floral set ups there so I'm sure they know flowers. However their corsages don't work, they need a different corsage arrangement. The one they used is not very well put together, it's bulky, it's flimsy, it's uncomfortable, and it's not as pretty as other corsages we've gotten in the past. The flowers were put together like you could put it in a vase with a stem sticking out at the bottom, supposed to the flowers facing flat on the wrist while looking beautifully put together. I would not recommend this place unfortunately and I'll be definitely looking for a different flower shop for our next event. They were too expensive to not get what I had ordered or had expected. read more

I was shopping for a standup floral spray for my father's funeral. Since my budget was a little tight, I visited a few local florists, in-person and online. I went to Litsa's and they were able to help me select the perfect arrangement that was much more affordable and more beautiful than the other stores I've visited. The clerk (I think his name was "Chris") was very helpful and compassionate and made it very easy for me. The arrangement was delivered at the services on time and was absolutely beautiful! I dropped in a few a weeks ago to inquire for a future order. The lady was nice, but she said her delivery guy didn't like doing state buildings due to parking difficulty and having to wait for the recipient to receive them. But she said he may be able to do it if the flowers were for a security guard. I came in today to place my order. A short, old, white guy with a slight foreign accent, attended me. But when I mentioned delivery to a state building, he flipped out! Saying the security didn't accept deliveries-which is true--and that parking was a problem and that he got a $100 parking ticket. (By the way, the delivery WOULD be accepted by the security since it was FOR the security.) I was desperate since I had it planned it this week and had already decided on using their services and didn't have a backup. The lady tried to help, but the old guy would shut her down and refused to do it, still embittered by his own stupidity of getting a parking ticket! I mean, if it's your life to deliver flowers, if you're a professional, I'd think you'd found a way around it (like my suggestion to him to get a handicap placard especially since he's old and didn't seem to have the best mobility). There is also a loading zone right in front of the building specifically for such things. I called other flower shops and delivering to a state building wasn't an issue with them! (It's just that they charge significantly more.) I don't know why he works there if he doesn't want to do his job. I don't know why they don't have someone younger and more mobile to do the delivery. Such amazing service!! I called the day before to ask for a corsage and they were able to accommodate. It sucked because I couldn't go in person to choose the color. I asked for light blue "cinderella" color. My mom went to pick it up and I guess the color was off, so the lady was able to find a color that matches and they were able to do a switch right away! I have my go to florist that I frequent for special occasions, but discovered recently that their prices have substantially increased, to the point of being unreasonable. Discovering Litsa's was just that... a great discovery. I called and spoke to George a few days ago, explained what I was looking for, and he took the order over the phone. All he wanted was my name. Talk about good old fashioned business practices! He made ordering simple, easy, and painless. When I picked up my order, the florist is among a group of other local businesses. It's clear that they've been around for awhile. For a floral shop, it is rather dark, and almost sad funeral home feeling. Turning on some brighter lights, and adding some background music might help to perk up the atmosphere a bit. They carry a lovely variety of pre-arranged floral pieces that are simple and elegant. With a day or two notice, they will pretty much create any type of floral piece that your heart desires. Here is where you get excited... their prices are incredible !! I had called my old florist to order flowers and corsages. It's that time of year when flowers prices are at a premium. Litsa's was more than half the price that I had been quoted from my former florist. Who doesn't want a great savings on pretty flowers ?! Litsa's has late Saturday hours, as well as, great weekday hours. Parking is what appears to be the rear of the building, but it's actually the front entrance. Cute little humble flower shop. I visited to check out the pre-made bouquets here. The flowers overall looked pretty fresh and the prices of the pre-made bouquets here are pretty competitive compared to the prices of bouquets at grocery stores. I docked a star because the selection of bouquets was a bit small (there was a lot of buckets but not many bouquets in them, some even empty), at least at the time that I visited (weekday afternoon). This little flower shop on Freeport near Fish&Chip and TKee chinese restuarant is a small gem. When you walk in, it doesn't seem like there's much but if you walk through the doors of the refrigerated flowers, there's some good deals on simple nice flowers. I got some flowers here for my mom. I thought they were well priced and it's definitely a bargain. Keep in mind, there's limited variety here. It's not your large flower shop. They have a mixed bouquet which is a good deal. They do accept credit cards but there's a minimum so if you're buying a bouquet that's cheap in price (not quality), please bring cash. The parking lot here can sometimes get crowded because of the Chinese restaurant; however, there's either 1 or 2 parking spots in front of the flower shop reserved for this place. So park there if you need something from Litsa's! read more

I have been coming here my entire life, for weddings, special events, and holidays. I have never had an experience like the one I had on Easter Sunday, Not only was the older gentleman rude he shoo'd me out of the store and rudely told another customer that he was " Sold out , leave I'm closed ". This behavior is unacceptable and nobody should have to be rudely told to leave when going to patronize a Mom and Pop business. I usually go here to get a bouquet or single roses. This time I needed a 100 red rose bouquet. The lady owner was really nice and helped me plan out the looks and everything for the flower. I wanted everything on it, but she was actually really helpful and didn't try to upsale me and just take my money. I called about 10 other shops in sac, but they all charged almost twice this place for my 100 roses. When I went to pick it up, it was amazing, just like in the pictures. talk about a random moment, where i wanted to get flowers for my mama..... . the sign outside lure me in and i ask about the special they always be putting up like 2.99 for a bunch of flowers. . The store is quiet, maybe putting some music will bring the store to live, because it was a bit too quiet or awkward with every step or breathing i do. . The flowers are placed in the walk in cooler fridge. its quite organized with prices, so just feel free to walk and browse for the right one. . overall i think they are generous with the price, and the flowers i got was fresh and nice. i will be back for more in the future for special occasions and random surprises for my special people. We went to several other florists on the night of a special occasion and none of them had corsages available at all, except here. They were able to throw a pretty and nice quality corsage together within about 20ish minutes and pretty much saved the night for us. The owners seem like nice people. It's a cute little store on the inside with lots of flowers and vases and all sorts of little decorations. The only suggestion I would make is to put chairs in the room for waiting, as we did stand for a little while while waiting for the corsage to be made. Otherwise, great place, recommend to anyone who likes supporting honest and hardworking people. read more

THE WORST FLOWER SHOP EVER! DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM! They are so rude and not helpful at all! Every time I go to this flower shop I feel unhappy so I've decided I'm never going there ever again. The older guy is the worst! They only will sell me ready made bouquets and bunches etc. They won't sell me the fresh ones in buckets or the foliage. They have supplies stocked on shelves but wont sell it to me, they say they're all out. I wanted a wire easel he tried to sell it to me for $30, 2 dozen roses for $40, and they were wilted. We had a major problem with Litsa Flowers. The flowers were suppose to be delivered to a funeral for my father before 10am when the service began. When we arrived no flowers so we called and they said it was for pick up but the receipt clearly shows for delivery to East Lawn and we had prearranged for delivery. They finally delivered the flowers but they didn't arrive until middle of the service. How embarrassing. They had to stop the service and announce the flowers are here. I came here looking for a bouquet of flowers for my Grandmothers 72nd birthday! I came inside and was immediately hit with a wonderful smell of fresh dewy flowers!! It was amazing! There was a bunch of cases and stuffed animals to look at on your way to the door to the cold room with the flowers, and they were all cute and priced well! (Like $4!) when I went inside of the refrigerated room with all the flowers, I didn't even know where to start! I wanted them ALL! My grand mothers favourite flower is carnations and I found an absolutely breath taking bouquet of red roses with pink carnations and baby's breath. It was only $10! When I checked out, the cashier was really friendly and wrapped the bouquet in a gorgeous yellow and orange abstract flower wrapping paper and sent me on my way! My grandmother was so happy to have those flowers, it was the best purchase I have made in a long time...
