Had a great experience. Communicated with Linda via text and she was pleasant and responsive in a timely manner. Would recommend.

Amazing and saved the day! I ordered flowers for my mother's birthday/retirement from an OUTSIDE company called FTD, which coordinates with local florists, and Royal Florist was the one that got my order, thank goodness. In short, my mom's flowers did not arrive at the location; they were going to be late (7 p.m.- 8 p.m., who gets flowers that late?), rescheduled, and if cancelled would be non-refundable. But ROYAL FLORIST stepped in and ensured my mom got her beautiful bouquet on the day she was at the location she had gone to. My mom received her flowers; they were beautiful, and she also got some extra goodies, which I appreciated. Will return, highly recommend! Thank you, RF. I'll be back, just directly this time. :) read more

I purchased a funeral wreath here. The process was easy and seamless and Lynda made sure everything happened smoothly. Initially, I was going to order flowers from a different florist (it was the one recommended by the family of the deceased), but I could not get hold of them over the phone. I am not local to Sacramento anymore so I wanted to be able to purchase something either online or over the phone. I called this place. Lynda picked up quickly and she was able to answered all my concerns and questions. I like that they had a website but I ended up picking a wreath from a picture I saw on Yelp, I told her I like this one and I sent her a text. She was able to quote me and I made the purchase over the phone. She is able to send the receipt via e-mail. The process was seamless. On the day of the funeral, she was able to get it delivered to the place with no issue. However, the service did NOT put the flowers out initially. I got there early and realized I did not see the flowers I purchased. I reached out to Lynda about it and she confirmed it was delivered. She was so due diligent, she reached out the funeral home and immediately after, I saw them bring out the flowers in the back. I am so impressed with her follow up. The flowers were exactly what I expected, very worth it and I love her great customer service. I am very glad I went with her to purchase the flowers for my aunt's funeral. Thank you!!! read more

Beautiful purple orchid lei and on short notice! Lynda is awesome! Communicates quickly and often.

Amazing customer service. Called at 12 and asked for same day delivery. The person that helped me was so kind and added extra touches to my order to make the arrangement so perfect. I even received a text letting me know the flowers were delivered with a personal note about the occasion of the arrangement. My niece loved the doggie bouquet for her new baby! Thank you again! My wedding bouquet from Royal Louis Florist came out so beautiful. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with it! I knew what colors I wanted, and a couple of the specific flowers, but I left the rest up to Lynda and she made something far more beautiful than I imagined. I walked in and talked with her a couple times, and she helped me with some ideas for decorating my small wedding. I appreciated the communication over text, too. We coordinated ahead of time and she let us pick up the bouquet, boutonnière, and other greens for the table all on the morning of my wedding despite the store not being open then. Prices were straight forward and seemed fair. She gave me extra blooms and greens so I can use as additional decoration. Bouquet was packaged thoughtfully in a vase and box to make it easy to transport. The second photo is from the third day for the bouquet, still looking gorgeous. So happy I went with this florist read more

It saddens me to know that Royal Florists was robbed very recently. Despite this, they persevered for their customers and were able to provide beautiful flower arrangements for my Uncle's funeral. My mom met up with the florist a lot to plan the standing flower sprays and Lynda was more than pleasant to help my mom. We had a total of 8 standing sprays and each came out so unique and beautiful that I know my Uncle would be happy. Prices are fair for the quality and arrangements of flowers you receive. I highly recommend supporting this local florist to arrange flowers for any occasion you have. You will not be disappointed especially with Lynda's positive personality and customer service. read more

Royal Florist did a fabulous job at our wedding - and they did it in 2 weeks! Our wedding had been cancelled and we planned an entirely new wedding in Sacramento in just 14 days. Lynda and her team pulled everything together seamlessly. Everything looked incredible and their flexibility with our scramble was extremely helpful! We are so grateful for the beauty throughout the event. My husband had an "arrangement" delivered to me for my birthday. I use Relles, and this is why.... It looks like they grabbed a bouquet from Safeway and plopped them into a vase. We're ordering flowers from another town several hours away and placed an order. I was going off their hours listed on their website and needed flowers for a funeral delivered before a service on Saturday. I thought their so was closed in the weekends but the owner reached out to say she could deliver them an hour before the service on Saturday. I appreciate the communication and customer service to see that our flowers were the freshest they can be for the service. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Beautiful flowers always. Lynda went above and beyond for my Grandma's service.

Lynda did the flowers for my wedding last month. Going into the whole process, I had little vision of what I wanted or even what my color scheme was (my bridesmaids wore charcoal gray and our venue was a little dry from the drought, so we desperately needed some color from flowers/greenery). Lynda helped my hone in my vision a little bit, but I simply gave her my budget and told her to make it look nice. Boy, did she deliver! The flowers were stunning and completely pulled together the venue. We got so many compliments about our flowers. A major concern of mine was making sure that the flowers did not wilt throughout the day. They traveled from Sacramento to the central coast and were still in amazing shape! Lynda worked her magic and the flowers lasted. The bulk of the flowers were still so looking good by Sunday, that we didn't want to throw them away, so we ended up donating them to an assisted living apartment complex. Overall, I would 100% recommend Royal Florist. The pictures speak for themselves! (Photo Credit: Dylan Kyle Photography, also an amazing vendor) Some tips that I found helpful: 1) Discuss budget. Lynda was super helpful in helping create a clear picture on what things would cost and what we could expect day of. 2) Communication. Sometimes the shop closes early. Call ahead or set an appointment. 3) Give her artistic freedom. She knows her stuff. She knows that will last, and what is in season. Lynda will make it look beautiful! 4) Completely random, but during the summer months, she sells watermelons and they are delish. (She has a connection to the farmer, so gets the directly. They are local and fresh). read more

Ordered Tuesday at 9:30 am and they arrived in about 90 min. Hard to find thank you flowers the week of valentines that had delivery availability. A few of the flowers were wilted which was disappointing. The vase could've used some ribbon. It was so plain. But did the job in a pinch. read more

I almost skipped florals all together for my Chinese Banquet but I'm glad my mom talked me into it. I communicated with Lynda Tanaka at Royal Florist through telephone calls and facebook messenger. She was extremely prompt with her responses and took the time to listen to me and focus on what vision I had in mind for the event. I really felt like Lynda heard me and took my preferences into consideration and I was blown away with the results. In short, THE FLORALS WERE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and BETTER than what I had envisioned. I ordered a floral arch, bouquet, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and a floral piece for my hair. Lynda even took the extra step of ensuring each piece had their own clip so no fussing with bobby pins or safety pins. This to me was the personal touch and fine attention to detail that I loved as I completely forgot to bring bobby pins for the floral hair piece. To this day I am still sad (and somewhat regret) gifting away my bouquet. I LOVED LOVED LOVED it, perfect size, florals were gorgeous and just beautiful. I chose Royal Florist because it is an independent floral shop run by a woman who knows what she is doing. Lynda provided great attention to detail, she was reliable, extremely communicative, and the services she provided exceeded my expectations. I would also like to mention she provides the best prices around town as well - I promise you cant beat her prices for the quality work she provides. Pros: BEAUTIFUL work, extremely affordable, easy to work with Cons: I wish I kept my bouquet AND ordered more florals for my event read more

Beautiful flower arrangements and fast service. What more can you ask for. I highly recommend this florist.

From looking on the website, we were expecting the prices for the standing floral arrangements to be around $170-199 for the standard size and around $199-260 for the premium size. Boy, were we in for a sticker shock when we looked through the catalogs at the store. Most were around or over $300. We felt like we had been baited and switched, but we settled without shopping around and placed our orders because the family wanted things done as simply and quickly as possible. The arrangements ended up costing double what was on the website plus extra for small changes. We had hoped that the much higher price meant grander arrangements than in the pictures. The flowers were pretty, but next to the arrangements from other shops, our arrangements were small and lackluster. We did appreciate that they offered Chinese inscriptions and floral arrangements with Chinese characters. The price was just money, but the disappointment when the event meant so much to us was painful. Please update your website to reflect the actual prices. read more

Oh this small shop tucked away on 10th street is a big operation florist shop. Lynda is great all around, I were happy and so are the families that used her for my brother's funeral. Royal Florist specializes in Asian (predominantly Japanese) funerals. They know all the local churches in the area and can make proper recommendations on how flowers are usually set up for those specific events. My family and I went in at the end of March to pick out flowers for my grandfather's memorial service. Our entire family was going through Royal Florist so it seemed like the place to go. First, there aren't any actual flowers on display in the shop. There aren't many arrangements to speak of, and even though there is a book of different sprays and wreaths, you don't get the same feeling from a photo. I asked which flowers they had seasonal and apparently everything is greenhouse grown, so they can get anything. I wanted a nice seasonal spray with some white and some spring colors as well, so i wasn't too happy to hear that everything was greenhouse grown. However, this allowed for a spray of antheriums, orchids, ginger and bird of paradise, so that was pretty. Sprays are expensive, but we all knew they would be expensive. The woman was nice (or as nice as one can remember when one is going through the effort of planning a funeral). Not too bad at all. The only part that bothered me was she asked when we should deliver the flowers to the church. We said 9am because the service was at 11am and we had to get there at 9 to set up guest books etc. The flowers didn't arrive until 10:30am. Granted, they still got there on time, but that was extremely irksome, especially since they knew where the temple was. read more
