The flowers themselves were great, however, I left special instructions, especially those pertaining to delivery, to which none were followed whatsoever. I believe the delivery driver was either not told or did not even read a single line of the special instructions. I even left a generous tip for the delivery, as a courtesy for the special instructions. I'm originally from Sacramento and Relles was always my go to when I needed a florist. When I decided I wanted to commemorate at various times throughout the year deceased family members that are buried in Sacramento I contacted Relles. They were able to set up a system that automatically orders and bills me for the floral arrangements and delivers them to the cemetery and emails me a photo of proof of delivery and placement at the grave site. Upon my recommendation from great past experiences, I convinced my fiancé to use Relles for flowers for his daughter's wedding. However, when we arrived at Relles we approached the counter and were met by a woman named Elizabeth. Elizabeth offered no greeting so I told her what we were looking for. She responded by saying just so you know the flowers (Tulips) you want are out of season, she offered no ideas or suggestions for other flowers and looked at us with a blank stare. I asked Elizabeth if she could find Tulips and she said she guess she could try. Elizabeth's demeanor was very cold and did not live up to the customer service that I've received in the past. These guys are awesome! Bought a lei for my daughter's graduation with pick up on Saturday. Our flights were delayed, and we couldn't get there before close. No lei for our daughter's Sunday grad, except... Elizabeth called us an hour after close to ask if we were on our way to pick up, and that she could stay another 30 mins if we could make it. Look, I'd like to think I'm not a total idiot about most things, but I have enough self-awareness to know that I'm not the greatest when it comes to flowers. Picking out a premade bouquet? I'm fine. However, when it comes to creating my own, let's just say I could use the help. So, shout out to Yelp for pointing me in Relles's direction! In need of a bouquet of flowers for my gf when she still wasn't quite my gf, I wanted to get her something more than a generic bouquet of mixed flowers but short of a bouquet of roses (which she's not a fan of, anyways). Perusing the various premade bouquets there were several arrangements that were eye-catching, but I wasn't sure quite sure what any of the flowers meant (who knew that different flowers and colors had so many meanings?). Thankfully, a very nice worker (the manager/owner?) happily offered his help! After explaining not only the different options and price points they have to offer, he also brought me into their refrigerated unit to show the various colors of peonies, roses, tulips, etc. that they had on hand. Not only that, he even helped me to assemble a bouquet with a mix of colors that complemented each other really well! All in all, I was in and out of here in about twenty minutes with a bouquet of flowers that made it look like I knew exactly what I was doing - talk about a great experience! Plus, I didn't even have to look for parking, as Relles has a small parking lot of its own. The one thing I'm not really sure about is how the prices here compare to other flower shops, but even if they are a bit higher, I was happy with what I paid and what I left with. If/when I'm in Sacramento again and in need of flowers, I'd come back to Relles. Though, ironically enough, it probably won't be for my gf again - it turns out she doesn't have even the faintest of green thumbs. Ha! FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded up. read more

Such a cute and charming local florist! I happened to stop by on their 78th anniversary and was greeted by so many friendly faces. The selection was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful. We originally came in for just a couple of flower vases, which were very affordably priced. They had exactly what we were looking for and had envisioned. I want to support a long-time Sacto establishment but the floral arrangement I paid $120 for ( with tax & delivery) was very disappointing. The flowers were fresh but the color combination was ( in my opinion) a very jarring and unartistic mixture. Plus the limp ribbon detracted from the arrangement. I did appreciate that when they had to delay delivery ( hospital's fault) they did let me know. read more
