She ensured our wedding party understood their roles at rehearsal, and worked well with our DJ. Communication was transparent and every update was followed through in emails. Mary was such a pleasure to work with when it came to all the floral arrangements for my big wedding day! Mary was easy to partner with, responsive, gave a lot of great ideas, and very reasonable in my opinion! I hired Mary to create my flower bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 2 flower crowns for the flower girls, 7 boutonnières for the guys (4 groomsman + officiant + family members), 2 corsages (for both moms), wedding arch flowers (I also rented the hexagon wedding arch from Mary), flower arrangements for each of our guest tables, flowers for the memory table, dessert tables, and both bars, and more flowers/greenery on the farmhouse tables for the bridal party. I'm probably missing other details but overall Mary did a lot for our wedding. For my wedding, my theme was airy, romantic, bohemian, whimsical, ethereal. Mary and her entire team really followed through and exceeded all my expectations. What really helped was meeting Mary in-person a few times to entertain my wild ideas, pulling in her advice in terms of what would fit my theme, and relying on her expertise to see what was feasible for the wedding day. I created for Mary a 28 page Google document of what I was visualizing for the event (i.e. what type of flower bouquets and colors I liked, my dream wedding arch with pampas, flower crowns for the flower girls, etc) and she thoroughly accomplished everything I had listed in my file. Mary is incredible and so skillful when it comes to her craft. On the day of the wedding, I was in complete awe of Mary's work and how all the flower arrangements turned out. Everything was 10x better than I could've ever imagine and Mary really executed on my entire theme and vision. But of course along the way with planning you forget stuff and have to add stuff later. So my wedding was 6/12/22 and we used Amour Florist and Bridal. We scheduled a zoom call with her bc it was during COVID. We discussed everything and she was amazing. Mind you I had scrolled the Instagram page so many times I just knew I was going to use Amour bc EVERYTHING was so beautiful. We used Amour for decorations and of course floral. Mary and her team at Amour Florist & Bridal are AWESOME! I can't thank her enough for transforming our venue and making my vision of having a Mulan/Modern Asian theme wedding come to life. Amour is a one-stop shop for weddings which made wedding planning so much easier! Flowers, decor, rentals, setup, breakdown, done! I am a #coronabride, which made wedding planning more stressful than it already is. Leading up to our event, CA guidelines were frequently changing (indoor reception, outdoor reception, back to indoor reception) which affected our number of guests, number of tables, and number of centerpieces needed. Mary worked with us and was flexible with our changing numbers. She also accommodated a last minute request for an extra corsage and a lighter flower for three of our boutonnieres as to not ruin the delicate material of the Filipino barongs that my husband and our fathers wore. Thanks for doing that! Delivery of flowers to our hotel and church and set-up of our venue were all on time. The flowers were beautiful!! Our bouquets and centerpieces were so vibrant and fresh. Mary followed the colors I requested and the flowers turned out exactly how I wanted, better than the inspo pictures I showed her! We received many compliments on the flowers from guests, even from family who watched the wedding ceremony over livestream! Set-up of the venue was gorgeous! We had a bunch of personal items such as our own welcome sign, picture frames, homemade signs, hand sanitizers, birdcage, wedding favors, etc., which helped us save some money and stick to our budget, then Mary and her team took care of where to place them. We lost our event coordinator at our venue a month before our wedding, which made us a little nervous, but Mary and her team took over and were able to set-up the venue beautifully on their own and on time. I recently had Amour's team do the florals at my grandmothers' funeral. My grandma had passed away in September and I reached out to Amour through IG to see if they did funeral flowers. They immediately sent me all the information that I needed. They were very knowledgeable about the Chinese customs and very patient and helpful. When there were issues on availability of certain flowers, they reached out right away and let me know what was going on. My grandma loved flowers and the arrangements that Amour created were absolutely beautiful. It was so nice to be able to be able to give beautiful arrangements for my grandma. Unfortunately, on the day of my grandma's funeral, my other grandma had a stroke and passed away ten days later. I immediately reached out to Amour again because they had done an excellent job with the first funeral. Again, the flowers were beautiful, they were so helpful and nice. Before I begin, I just want to let the readers know that I was overall happy with my wedding and this review is completely honest and to the best of my knowledge. If you're a bride, congratulations to you and good luck finding the best vendors you can have on your very special day! My wedding was Last year July 2021 and I chose Amour florist because of their good reviews. I saw their work for one of my friends' weddings in 2019 and was very impressed. My original wedding date was August 2020, but due to covid my wedding was canceled. When we resumed the planning, the florist in charge of my wedding left the company. The owner took over and made it easy. She was very helpful as I try to budget. I chose the cheapest soft yellow, peach and white flowers. It was carnation, roses and greens. I showed her pictures, she showed me samples, I agreed and she said it can all be done. She also said that my flowers can be replaced if it wilts since my wedding is in the summer time. Then came my wedding day my bouquet was close to the size of my bridesmaids' bouquets. As you can see in the pictures, my bridesmaid and I are holding our bouquets together and that's how I expected the size of my bouquet but it was really small and no volume to it. The corsages were ridiculously tiny and wilted as you can see in the pictures of my husband. The flowers on top of the two ceremony isle lanterns were so lame and already wilted in the beginning of the ceremony. The soft yellow (which was my main theme) was not as visible in all of the settings. It was mostly peach and white. I reused my bridesmaids' bouquets as a centerpiece for the reception. It became tinier as well as the flowers surrounding the floating candles and the wedding cake. However, their execution was very good. The timing of getting all the flower arrangements ready and transitioning to the reception hall was exquisite. They really have the best team. I'm sad myself to give them a not so perfect review. I feel like they probably held back on providing bountiful flowers because they're trying to bounce back from the cancellations due to covid or they really try to match the 1,600 payment I made through their services. I can recommend them if you're willing to spend a lot of money on flowers. If not, then consider other florists. read more

This review is long overdue, but I would like to thank Mary and the whole team of Amour Florist and bridal for doing such an amazing job preparing and making our wedding everything that we have dreamed of. I chose Amour florist to decorate and provide the flowers for our wedding, as well as having Mary as our day of coordinator. Mary did a fantastic job throughout the whole planning process. She helped me with creating an affordable budget for everything that I wanted for the wedding. The flowers for center pieces, the bouquets, the drapery and the floral backdrop was breathtaking. She also helped with decorating our cake which was stunning! I've hoped for having my wedding look like the ones you would find on beautiful Pinterest wedding pictures and she made it happen! Not only did she fulfill my hopes of my wedding to be aesthetically pleasing, she did a remarkable job as a day of wedding coordinator. If I hadn't started already planning my wedding already, I would have chosen her to plan the whole thing from beginning to end. But even though she was only a day of wedding coordinator, she still helped me so much a month prior to our wedding. She made sure everything was well organized and helped me with planning on things that I never thought about which was so helpful to me. She helped by being in contact with all my vendors and sent emails to everyone including myself so that everyone was well informed. Fast forward to the day before the wedding. I ruined my welcome mirror and cracked it. I contacted Mary the night before freaking out and she reassured me saying that she will take care of it and not to worry. Planning the wedding, I was stressed, had lack of sleep that week and was too busy to find time to eat. She reassured me with many things and throughout the whole process, she would check up on me making sure that I get enough rest and sleep, to not stress and to make sure I ate. During the reception, she made sure we stayed on schedule so that we had a lot of down time for dancing, which I wanted. I had some hiccups at the wedding but she made sure I didn't stress about it and she took care of it. She made sure I ate even though I didn't want to because I was focused on other things which I am truly grateful. She really took good care of me, my family and the bridal party. Michelle was so sweet and kind - she threw in a couple extra flowers and balloons so I could cheer up my sister who was having a bad day. They do same day delivery of flowers and balloons. I liked that they had exotic (lavender roses) as well as more standard flowers (lilies, baby's breath). They have a balloon bouquet special which sounded really nice. Mary and Johnny did an amazing job during our wedding a few months ago. I would say it's not just about business but it's more of a service. Sally came to the U.S. two months ago before the wedding and had zero knowledge of who would be our suppliers. And I really wasn't much help too. I came across their name through online and made an appointment with them right then and there I made a decision to go with them. They are very accommodating and very understanding into our needs and wants from prenuptial preparations and pictures to the wedding itself. Since I was only needing these two wedding items, some local florists didn't want to take it on versus a more profitable wedding with more floral needs. Also I was late in booking but Mary accepted. A&M is a one stop shop for most of your wedding needs. They do flowers, alterations, decorations and they sell bridesmaid dresses, accessories such as veils, garters, flower girl baskets. I got my wedding dress altered here. I had some customizations to my dress and Mary and Vanessa helped me decide what would look good on my dress and look best on me. They really know what they are doing in the wedding business and made great recommendations.
