When I was looking for a florist for my wedding, honestly, I got overwhelmed. There are so, so many florists out there, and I really didn't know much about what I wanted. One thing that I was looking for was someone who had experience doing arrangements at the Grand Island. When I viewed Jackie's website, her wedding floral arrangements peaked my interest... there was just something about them that looked beautiful to me (I don't think I can describe it in words) and so I went ahead and contacted Jackie. Jackie is the nicest and sweetest woman. Even though she is insanely busy every weekend with all of her events, we managed to chat on the phone a handful of times, and I also went to her shop to see what pieces I could use for my wedding. I also would randomly send her photos via email here and there, and she was very flexible in payment options (I paid throughout the year). She gave her ideas, and I pretty much went "go for it"! I looooved my flowers. The flowers that appeared on the columns behind where we said our vows were absolutely beautiful. I also received so many compliments from guests about how beautiful our flowers were. I would recommend Jackie as a wedding florist for those who are as clueless about flowers as I am, or anyone really... :) read more

Jackie and her team are amazing! We met in person and had a couple of phone conversations leading up to my wedding to go over ideas and WOW she truly exceeded my expectations. Jackie is very professional, kind, and TALENTED. Her and her team were able to set up all my florals and rentals so I didn't have to worry about a thing. I left a message and my call was returned immediately. I asked if she could do a boutonniere for my daughter's hoco within the same week. She said absolutely! When I went to pick it up, she was preparing for a wedding the following day. As busy as she was, she never gave me the impression that my business was not important to her. I felt so special and honored that she took her time showing me all the flowers and arrangements she made. She even gifted me with a beautiful rose!! Thank you so much, Jackie!!! The boutonniere was beautiful and I'm sorry I didn't get a great picture of it. read more

My favorite flower is a soft pink rose. Jackie designed the rest! I let her amazing creativity fly as she knew that I wanted an aisle design, big and small candelabras (which she had all over her shop!). She was able to keep to my theme and colors very well! The bridesmaids' bouquets were perfect!! She even was able to spruce up the aisle and add extra centerpieces when I needed to add tables last minute. If you want fresh, real and beautiful flowers...GO to Jackies!!!! read more

The fiance & I were recommended this florist by our wedding venue. I contacted her multiple times via email & telephone, but we kept missing each other. We finally talked on the phone & she told me that she was fully booked. A couple of weeks later we met with a DJ, Mitch Perez, who happens to be her husband & he was recommending her. I told him we had already contacted her & she was booked, so he called her in (he works out of their house) & asked. She said she was free so we set up an appointment at her flower shop. At the appointment she was very vague about what types of flowers she would recommend for the wedding, she gave us magazines & albums to look through. We didn't make any flower decisions & I left feeling just as uncertain as before. I decided to go with another florist for the bridal party & contacted her regarding a few flower needs, whereupon she rudely told me that if it was less than $500 it wasn't worth her time. She did have low to average prices for flowers though: -bridal bouquet $150 -bridesmaid $50 -boutonniere $11-$13 -corsage $23 -nosegay $7.50 -arrangement $75 All in all I would describe her as vague & ditsy, she also doesn't like you to email her with questions, you have to call her. If you use her you better know exactly what you want! read more

Jackie was amazing and we chose her for her unique creativity. She is an awesome person and worked with us through all the little details. She was so excited for our Halloween wedding and even sent us a book that she found while shopping. She added the extra little details to our wedding like "skull" champagne glass charms and the wedding bouquet was so unique and gorgeous. My photographer said that it was the best bouquet she had seen. Jackie and her daughter were so fun and Jackie even added to our candelabras her own unique touches to really make everything pop. I swear I wanted to cry when I first walked into the reception room because everything was all I ever wanted it to be. The flowers and branches we chose looked awesome and Jackie added her own personal touches to everything. I totally trusted Jackie's creativity and knew she would come up with something exciting as I could not think of exactly which flowers I wanted, etc. I just knew that I wanted it to fit our theme. Someone commented she was "vague and ditzy"? Hardly. More like super creative and awesome! Perhaps she has so many ideas in her head that she came off to that person that way. Jackie very much has her stuff together and you will see it in her work. Needless to say, I highly recommend Jackie - especially if you have something fun and unique in mind for your wedding. Her creativity is off the charts! Thank you so much, Jackie for making my day even more beautiful!!! read more

Jackie & Chelsie are absolutely amazing!!!! Jackie's Flowers was our florist & decorator for our wedding this past November. They completely went above and beyond what I imagined our bouquets and reception space to look like. Jackie was always more than available to answer any questions I had up until the wedding. I didn't know exactly what type of flowers I wanted, I just knew the colors and "look" I was going for. She went ahead and surprised me with her own special touches (cotton & twigs) which were my favorite part about all the florals! All her vintage rentals made it all complete! She has such imagination and likes to recreate new ideas to make each wedding their own. I can't thank you enough for creating such a dreamy evening for us and all our guests! read more

Jackie is amazing!! She seriously does the best work and is so much fun to work with! Her shop is so cute, and she is so creative. I love her. We gave her our budget and she gave us a fairytale. Our garden ceremony got moved into the ballroom the day of the wedding because of the rain, and jackie made it work. She set up a beautiful alter on the ballroom stage that took our breath away. My vision for bridesmaids bouquets she made a reality, and my bouquet was seriously a dream come true. I asked for gold elements in my flowers, all the guys really liked their boutonnieres, each was a little different to compliment the different bridesmaids dress colors. Jackie seriously made our dreams come true, and we would love to work with her again. Thank you so much jackie!! read more

Jackie is hands down an amazing florist! The first time we met, I brought my fiance and daughter to her shop and sat down to discuss what we were looking for and what we wanted for our wedding. She had us look through magazines and books to get an idea of the flowers and colors, she is SO knowledgeable about every flower and available colors and seasons, ect. It was never intimidating or over powering, she REALLY helped you figure out what would look perfect on your big day! The second time I met with her I brought my mother, we completed everything for the wedding and created our contract! YES, it was VERY time consuming but 110% worth it! My mother and I both left extremely happy and satisfied! The majority of Jackie's ideas are amazing! There really wasn't any times that I disagreed with her or didnt like where she was going with the idea's, they always seemed to fit perfectly with my vision of my wedding. Jackie is ALWAYS SO busy with her weddings and events yet she still always makes time to call you back or email you. We had a few times where we played phone tag for about a week but I was just as busy at the time planning my wedding. When I called her back and talked to her, she always knew exactly why she called and where we left off! She is great!!! It's funny, we worked with her husband Mitch from Showtime Entertainment as well for the wedding and these two made our wedding unreal! We couldn't have been happier with the turn out! JACKIE, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DID FOR US ON OUR WEDDING DAY! THE FLOWERS WERE GORGEOUS AND THE WORK THAT YOU AND YOUR DAUGHTER PUT IN IS SO MAGICAL! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! read more

Jackie is not just a florist, she's an artist. If you want plain, boring flowers Jackie is not the florist for you... if you want some of the most creative, artistically created designs then you've found the right place. Jackie and her daughter were absolutely wonderful and you wouldn't go wrong working with them. read more

I'm not your typical bride. At all. But I knew I wanted poppies. They are my favorite, and I wanted them to be the main event at my wedding, as far as decor. We moved our wedding date up early--from May to January--due to some illnesses in both of our immediate families. I still wanted poppies, and Jackie was as enthusiastic about them as I was in spite of the season. My iceland poppies were beautiful. She mixed them with other complementing flowers and even kumquats. After the ceremony, I caught some of the bridesmaids eating the kumquats off their bouquet, they were so fresh! I was so in love with my bouquet that I rarely put it down during the wedding and reception, and I took as many bridesmaid bouquets as I could from my ladies. We also had a couple pre-teens fighting over bouquets--they were such a hit! Not to mention, Jackie's personality and studio were warm, welcoming, and bright. I visited other florists in my quest during wedding planning, but Jackie's just felt right. Truth be told, our event order wasn't huge, but Jackie still was invested in my big day as if it was. I cannot say enough about her creativity, expertise, and kindness. read more

Jackie was recommended to us by our venue and a friend of mine who had used her previously. First meeting with Jackie was great. My husband and I are really simple people so I think we gave her a challenge lol. She was able to give me ideas of simple yet beautiful arrangements. We gave her a budget and she worked with it. She did such an amazing job and I could only imagine what she could have done if she had full reign!! Her and her daughter are amazing and would highly recommend her! read more

Jackie is just the best! After seeing her work in the pictures and on her web site, my husband and I knew she'd be the one to do our wedding because of her unique style. She's a very creative, detail-oriented and professional florist. At our meeting in her amazing flower shop, we went through everything we were expecting in our wedding, what flowers we liked and disliked, and what style we were looking for. With Jackie it was super easy! She knew right away what we wanted. After finding out that I liked fluffy flowers especially peonies, she did her best and found pink peonies for my bouquet at the end of July when they are not usually around! Also Jackie has so many various vases and jars you can use not only for flowers but for guest cards, etc. She will work around your budget too, so don't hesitate to ask her. Thank you Jackie for your awesomeness! read more

Beware. She will forget things and flowers turned from white to brown before event was over. When brought to her attention I was yelled at!

Where do I begin...? I first met with Jackie a year before my wedding date. It was one of the only appointments with a wedding vendor that I left from feeling so confident and excited and I could not wait until we met again. She is so great at understanding exactly what you want and is very good at asking questions about details and also giving her opinion and professional advice. She has so much knowledge in different types of flowers and colors and even when they are in season. She hand pics all of the flowers herself and they are beautiful. I wish I was getting married again (not really) just so I could meet with her and plan more. Her and her daughter Chelsie go above and beyond and make you feel very special and important. You know you are in good hands and they treat your wedding as if it was their own. I have and will recommend Jackie's Flowers to any bride that is looking to have the most AMAZING decor at their wedding. Any bride wanting less should look elsewhere. read more

Jackie was by far my favorite part of wedding planning. She goes above and beyond and makes the most amazing floral arrangements. She really has a wonderfully unique sense of style and I felt that my wedding came out so beautifully thanks to Jackie's creativity. She worked with me for months so that everything was just right. She had so many ideas, but also followed my guidance whenever I wanted something particular. Most of all, I just LOVED working with her. She made the whole wedding experience so fun and artistic. I could not have asked for a better florist, but she ended up being so much more than that. She was basically my partner through the whole wedding process and I appreciate her attentiveness so much. read more

Jackie was a fantastic wedding florist! The centerpieces, the gazebo arch, boutineers, pedals in the isle, bouquets, and everything else looked great and really complimented the theme of our wedding. This florist was recommended to me by a friend. Needless to say, this lady has no business sense and is rude! I contacted her via email multiple times in which she did respond. She even called me to see if we could set up a time to meet. About a week or so later I emailed her back asking when we could meet up to chat and she straight up asked me if I was going to book her (mind you we haven't even met yet). I said I was looking around still and was hoping to get a better idea of her work and quote. She responded that I should wait until closer to my wedding because she is too busy to meet with me! What a joke. Doesn't matter how far my wedding is, just because I didn't say I wanted to book her before even meeting shouldn't be a reason to blow me off. Plain rude! read more

Flowers were beautiful for the wedding & reception. Appreciate the creativity. We recently were married at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento and we are so thrilled and grateful that we worked with Jackie. The flowers she put together for our special day were STUNNING! When I walked into the ceremony venue the atmosphere and flowers took my breath away. Jackie's flowers were THE BEST FLOWERS WE HAVE EVER SEEN at an event and we have been to a lot of weddings!!! She worked with the budget that we had and creatively used seasonal flowers to get the best value. The foliage she used as filler was unique and rich. We didn't just have cookie cutter arrangements, each table had a slightly unique arrangements because she used such a wide variety of flower types, but everything tied together perfectly. We had 3 different spaces within our venue and Jackie was able to beautify each of them individually (from the grand historic ballroom ceremony to the modern museum reception). The intangibles were her positive energy and excitement. It is clear that she is passionate about her job and takes pride in her work. We LOVE Jackie and would highly recommend her for any venue! read more

Jackie and Chelsie were both amazing to work with. I was recommended to them by my venue. Unlike some reviews I found them very responsive to emails and calls. We hit it off right away. I just had a wonderful feeling after speaking and meeting with them. They were easy to talk to and understood and ere very enthusiastic about my ideas and the fact that I don't know the art of flowers (just what a few types that I like.) and they created natural beautiful arrangements that EVERYONE loved! They are not just ordering run of the mill flowers that anyone could pick up from a "florist" and put them in an arrangement. They drive to San Francisco and hand pick all of the flowers from the flower market. needless to say the flowers are impeccable. If you are having close up pictures of your flowers beware of others that may not get you the best fresh flowers because you will see it in today's digital photography age. They also can provide many rentals in different antique styles. I personally had collected with my Mom our own glass but used some of their beautiful mirror vanity trays. For all the work and thought they put into everything they are so very reasonably priced.i didn't have a huge budget but got the things i needed and done well! I looked forward to every meeting and am actually kind of sad to not be visiting and planning with the two of them. read more
