I specifically told them upfront that I'd already run some trouble shooting test myself in order to try and diagnose or resolve the issue. They said they could still test and see what the issue is and charged me their diagnostic fee, only to tell me later that they "confirmed" it was a failed video card - by the exact same basic testing I'd already done at home for free. Felt like a total waste of money from the start. I naively assumed they would be doing something more advanced. They were very slow to diagnose my machine and when I came in to pick it up they had to put it together while I waited. Fast forward a year later when I opened the case myself to remove the drive - and discovered the original RAM sticks were completely missing! They had never reinstalled my 16gb memory at all, leaving a 4gb single stick in my machine. I immediately contacted them to report this and asked if they still had my original RAM on hand or could offer any remedy (refund, replacement, etc.). What followed was weeks of chasing them down - unreturned calls, excuses about being busy, not having the authority to resolve the issue, and an otherwise unavailable owner being the only person that could decide how we fix this issue. . Finally, after persistent follow-up, they told me the owner reviewed it and said they "couldn't do anything" because too much time had passed. Seriously? They steal (or lose) my components, charge me for work they didn't do, and then hide behind "passage of time" when called out a year later? No accountability, no apology, nothing. This place is either incompetent or deliberately dishonest. Save yourself the headache and money - take your business anywhere else. Never going there again

After spilling some (very little) water on my brand new MacBook Pro one night, I called That Computer the next day when it didn't turn on. I had a huge 2-day job interview in San Antonio. A big presentation, and my flight was 2 days away. Ultimately, the store couldn't fix my computer - the board was fried...but I will enthusiastically recommend to anyone who has computer issues. Stephen listened to my situation, asked me questions, and explained my options. I wasn't hysterical, but I was distraught so I asked him if he would help work through my options (rent a laptop? Buy a new one? Wait patiently hoping this one could be revived in time?) He was extremely open with me about what he (or any computer person) would be able to do for my Mac. He helped me work through what I should do given my situation. I felt fully informed, and despite my lack of knowledge re: computers, he never made me feel stupid.
